Can t recommend them enough. Made the headache a breeze. Jimmy the manager put us at ease and they did a fantastic job. The job was even done sooner than they estimated. Look at before after pictures! Phenomenal!

Everybody at Scotsman s what is an absolute pleasure to work with. They are all kind and understanding that having a damaged vehicle absolutely sucks and they want to get it back to you as soon as possible.With that they are completely knowledgeable on all of the steps you have to take to get your car repaired start to finish including helping you out with the rental car.I truly felt like this was a no frills experience, everything was being done for a reason, and a good one at that.Whiles I hope I don t have to bring a damaged vehicle back, this would absolutely be the place I would choose to make my repairs in the future. My truck came back in wonderful condition.

Everything about the process of having my vehicle repaired was perfection. Everyone (especially Marie) was beyond kind, helpful, patient and courteous. I was going though State Farm and Scotsman's communication with the representative was seamless. The work was completed perfectly in a far shorter time than stated (which saved me on rental costs)I highly recommend this team.

THE BEST! From start to finish, I was presented with the utmost professional service. Jim is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He took care of my car, and he answered all my questions I had during the time my car was there. He helped me with rental and was full of advice regarding the windshield I was fixing while my car was there. Ladies in the office were a joy to deal with. I requested a test drive upon the car repair completion, and the main mechanic was very eager to please me, and we went for a drive. I wanted to see that my car was the same car before the accident and that it drives exactly the same and I was very much pleased. It was very important to me to do a test drive since my Passat was never before serviced by anyone else than mechanics in Volkswagen of Huntington. From a car person point of view, which I am, I can safely recommend Jim and his team. The repair of my car was so smooth, there was no problem, Jim professionalism, and gentleness in his approach towards the customers makes all the difference, and I am most grateful. Thank you very much for everything. I will remember you.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They diagnosed my car's issues right away, ordered the parts and stayed to the anticipated time frame. It's refreshing to find an honest and reliable shop. I highly recommend them!

I Got into my first car accident. Was very nervous how the whole process would work with the repairs. From the second I met with Jimmy all the way to when I picked up my car. I felt very confident they will do a great job. Jimmy is the best. Definitely trustworthy. I recently had the pleasure of bringing my car to Scotman Auto after a tree fell on it. Initially, I was quite upset because the repair process took longer than expected, and I needed my car for work. However, my frustration quickly turned to delight when I saw the final result.The team at Scotman Auto did an outstanding job, and my car now looks as if it just rolled off the dealership lot. The attention to detail and the quality of their work truly exceeded my expectations.What stood out to me, apart from the excellent repair work, was the exceptional customer service. The staff, especially the lady at the front desk (whose name I regrettably forgot), was incredibly patient and kind. She made the waiting process much more bearable with her professionalism and willingness to answer my questions.Additionally, Scotman Auto went above and beyond by offering me a generous 25% discount on my repair fee due to the extended repair time. This gesture of goodwill demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction and left a positive impression on me.In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Scotman Auto for their exceptional auto repair services. Poor communication from staff about repairs, pricing, and when work would be complete. Staff were rude, complaining about me, and their colleagues while I was still in the office.Work seems to have been done well and timely but I won't go back.

From the first phone call made, to meeting up with jim who analyzed the car, I couldn t be any more happier! Marie who handles the phones was very welcoming and Jim was the man! Super happy with the work done on my vehicle as it flawless. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and this shop will for sure be my go to body shop for any body work that i may need going forward

I made an appointment to get an Estimate for my Black Range Rover Sport to be repainted in the same color. A soft spoken gentlemen came out, spent 15 seconds with me and without even walking around the car told me 7,000 dollars. Didn't look at the car, offer alternatives. I might of considered the shop, if he spent time (more than 15 seconds) to explain the process, explain the company and why I would want to use them. Its a sale. Sell me. I am about to spend $7,000, what am i getting for that exactly? I wont know now... He certainly must have a high base salary and not work off commissions...lol .Service: Painting

Experience a car accident while driving ended up hitting an animal on the road which crushed my radiator and condenser and also damage to my bumper and grill was recommended by Geico absolutely one of the most professional and high-quality work I ve seen yet I ve dealt with other autobody places and no one could compare this place put in high quality work and effort to make my car look amazing and paint was absolutely perfect found no imperfections whatsoever everything was replaced like the car was never touched highly recommend this place and would definitely do business in the future with them Five stars all the wayService: Body & Trim

Was sideswiped on the LIE one morning. Was not familiar with how the process would work with the repairs or if any were needed. I called this place to see if they would be able to look at it for me and determine the damage and provide an estimate for the work. The Owner Jimmy is unbelievable. Very thorough and honest. I believe he is definitely trustworthy in a profession that you may not expect that. He explained everything and answered all my questions. He even offered to clean my car up of all scratches he thought could be easily removed on the spot and did not pressure to have the repairs completed. I am definitely going back if I ever need body work in the future.

Great experience with Scotsman s in Farmingdale. Brought the vehicle in, had it looked at, and then parts were ordered that day by Jimmy - extremely helpful. In the meantime, while parts were being ordered, I was able to put a claim through and work out the fine details with insurance, while still being able to drive the car. Once the parts arrived, I walked in and Marie had everything waiting for me. Paperwork was ready, all the specifics were worked out ahead of time, and the process took maybe 5 minutes. Jimmy walked around the car with me and explained exactly what was going to be done, while providing a very accurate time estimate. Marie had set up a rental across the street at Enterprise and I was all set. During the process, Marie provided regular updates about the status of the vehicle. The car was done in less than a week and Jimmy explained everything that was done. When picking up the car, Marie expedited the payment collection and delivery of my vehicle. Can t thank Marie and Jimmy enough for all they ve done. If you are, unfortunately, in an accident, this is the place to go. The car looks awesome and the work is top notch. Thank you Marie and Jimmy!

I brought my Honda Accord here to get repaired after being hit by road debris. Rob and Jimmy provided great customer service. The shop did a spectacular job on my car. Their workmanship and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. They are honest and reliable and I would recommend them to anyone.

My back bumper had some scratches on it so i came by here to get a quote. Instead of telling me to just paint the whole bumper which they could have the gentleman who inspected my car gave me his honest opinion and actually polished the bumper for free. Very nice people I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs there vehicle repaired.

I will never go to another body shop again, Scotsman's is simply the best. Jimmy and everyone in the office could not of been more nice or professional and they fixed my car right away and I was back on the road in no time.You will not meet a more honest and trustworthy staff than at Scotsman's. Would highly recommend for any estimate and service!

If you ever needed help with your car, Scotsman's Auto Body is the place to go. Top quality repairs, my car came out like new. Custumer service beyond expectations. The Owner John is very pleasant showing his knowledge and his personal touch with the customers and the manager Jim, knowledgeable and highly organized who made the whole process a breeze. I can't can't express my gratitude enough for this place. Was kept informed every step of the repair process. I gave this place a shot, and I'm glad I did because I've found a new place for my family and friends.

It is SO unbelievably hard to find GOOD people that work on cars, so when you find one, DON'T BOTHER LOOKING ANYWHERE ELSE. These people really are great people - I do not even live close by and took my car here after being recommended and seeing the reviews. They did not disappoint. Any concern I had they listened. Any question I had they answered. They were so incredibly helpful and professional that I wish I could give more stars. I'm grateful to the attention to detail they showed with my car, making sure the damage was repaired and ensuring that none of it was structural, and also buffing and detailing the entire body.. It honestly looks gorgeous.. just like the first day I got it from the dealership!!! I WISH THEY ACCEPTED MY TIP!Also, shame on whoever left the bad review on these guys. Telling people to go to a shop down the block just because you were unhappy with the quote you were given? Distasteful & disrespectful. Oh well, Jim and the crew can do better anyways!!!

There are body shops, then there is Scotsman's. Agreeing with other reviewers that the staff, service and quality of work is outstanding. You're kept informed and everything is explained in detail. And that's just it: everything is in the detail at Scotsman's - my car looked better than in the day I purchased it. Sans the new car smell of course. Clean, gorgeous, amazing. Don't think twice, trust in Scotsman's to take great care of you and your vehicle. A++.

I have nothing but accolades for this auto body shop! Highly recommend. Even if you don't live close by they are worth the drive. The courteousness of the staff, the detail orientated service, the ease in communication and the care they take to answers any questions makes you feel like you're part of a family. They care about their clients and it shows. They always make sure you are 100% completely satisfied and go above and beyond to make it so. Unparalleled to any other experience I've had with car mechanics and service. So refreshing to find honest, good and fair professionals in this industry.

My parked car was hit and as I'd never been in any accident before I had no clue where to go. Spoke with friends who all raved about Scotsman's Auto Body in Farmingdale. Geico accepted them and off I went the next morning. From the first interaction with the receptionist to the pick-up I was very impressed. They were kind, caring, extremely patient and helpful and went out of there way to be understanding during a stressful time. The work looks fantastic and it's all guaranteed.
