In response to the reviews below, this place has gone above and beyond for me! And I'd like to state that I am a young blonde female that has been taken advantage of by other shops in neighboring towns. I went to them to help repair a problem that another shop caused the same day and the manager, Eric and owner, Chris have made my life so much easier when it comes to all the problems, questions or inspections on my car. They are HONEST people and they have treated me exactly how I have treated them, by being polite, understanding and respectful. Some people out here are just trying to cause problems for every business they encounter because they want people to bend over backwards or give away free services and then cry when things are done the right way... (I have no knowledge of the incident, but I've seen Karens before).ANYWAYS, I 100% trust nobody but Chris, Eric and the guys in this shop. I am looking forward to seeing them later today to repair a nail in my tire!

Hi. Girlfriend here and the car that got inspected when it should not have been done! Turns out the tire was not repairable, and I needed a new one. When the car was brought in I had asked if I could also get an inspection. They knew the tire was bad because they were waiting to hear if I had a tire package with the car which I indicated that I did but they ran the inspection anyway and charged me for it. Now I m not a mechanic, but I even know that if something is faulty on a car, it will not pass inspection. I don t appreciate being taken advantage of as a woman by insulting my knowledge of cars. If you knew the tire wasn t being repaired, you should not have run the inspection end of story!!!

My girlfriend recently brought her car to this place with the hope of getting her flat tire patched, as discussed with Eric, the manager. She specifically instructed him to inform her if the tire couldn't be patched so she could take the car to her dealer, considering her tire and rim package. Unfortunately, Eric, demonstrating questionable ethics, exploited her vulnerability. Despite knowing the tire was beyond repair, he chose not to return the vehicle as per their agreement but proceeded with an inspection that he knew would fail, all for a mere $37. It's disheartening to witness such a blatant disregard for honesty and fair treatment. When my girlfriend expressed her concerns, Eric dismissed her without a second thought. To all women out there, beware of this manager, Eric, who seems inclined to take advantage of your situation. One can't help but wonder how many other vulnerable individuals he has treated similarly. I wouldn't trust this establishment with the vehicles of my mother, sister, or any female family member. Their business practices are undoubtedly shady. Shame on you, Eric, the manager!Attached below is the bill as evidence, to dispel any doubts and showcase the transparency of my experience. It's disheartening that this repair facility might attempt to counter by claiming there's no record of our name in their system or history, a tactic they've allegedly employed in response to other Google reviews. Let the documented proof speak for itself, illustrating the unsettling truth behind our encounter with this establishment.

Located on the corner of Main Street and 109 in Farmingdale. A A is friendly honest service its what we all need from our car caring company. The work is top notch and they are great people

Can't thank this place enough. When Audi gave me an astronomical price to fix my car, Chris took on the job and not only did it for a fraction of the price, but did a phenomenal job and got the job done fast. Driving my car once again feels like it did day 1 after I bought it.Honest and caring group here with top notch customer service. I highly recommend.

I have been bringing my cars to this Goodyear place for over 5 years. They are always honest about what you need done, and the prices are normal, not overpriced like the dealerships are. Over the years I have taken 3 different cars here for all different services, tires, brakes, etc. also the staff are always so nice and professional.

Honestly, the only thing that s taken me so long to write this review is the fact that I swore I did one years ago but apparently didn t!I ve been coming to AA for years now, ever since I moved into Farmingdale, and I couldn t be happier. Eric is awesome and is always helpful and accommodating. Everything from fixing a flat to getting a replacement tier quickly to squeezing me in on a Saturday morning for an inspection, I know I can always count on him to take care of me. He is one of the rare honest, reliable and genuinely good guys in the auto mechanic business! Highly recommended!!

When I moved to Farmingdale 5 years ago I was fortunate to find a reliable and trustworthy auto mechanic.During the past five years, I have and will continue to be a loyal customer. They have gone above and beyond and truly care about their customers. I appreciate their honesty and can advocate they stand by their services rendered. Thank you a million times over!

My experience with AA Tire Service occurred probably ten years ago. It left a scar on me and still remains. The reason I am writing this now is that I am in process of looking for new mechanic as my old one has retired. When we moved to Farmingdale we started going to AA Tire because it was convenient. One time I brought my wife's car in because one of its tires had a slow leak. They called us back and told that all the cars tires had staples stapled into their side walls. They showed them to me when I went down to the shop. My wife was parking daily at the LIRR parking lot at the time, so we couldn't be sure what exactly had happened, but I was somewhat skeptical about this. I can't definitively blame them, but . . . Later on, I brought my car in with a failing battery. They told me that I needed a new battery, an alternator and a starter. We maintain our cars pretty well and I told them I couldn't afford the repair and that they should replace just the battery. I then picked up the car and drove it to my old mechanic in Hicksville and they ran diagnostics on the car and said that the alternator and starter were fine. AA Tire lied to me and I never forgot it. There are plenty of honest mechanics out there. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

I have a friend of out state I consulted with after receiving a quote on work from these guys, they gave a fair price and didn't try to add in anything extra or up sale me. The owner was involved and provided quality service, along with the technician who serviced my vehicle. I'd be comfortable sending my wife or daughters here knowing they'll be taken care of and not taken advantage of. Thank you for quality work at a fair price.

Eric is the best as well as the staff there. He listens to my concern and fix my tires. Unlike other tire place, He was able to work with me with my tire warranty. I really appreciate the time and help I got from this place. Highly recommend.

I take the company truck here to get it serviced. So far no complaints from me, the guys there are friendly, and so far have done great work with maintaining the truck. I also observe when other people come to get their cars serviced and they are polite to them and the guys give them options on what to do with the car, not like other garages that say its only this or nothing. To me that speaks loud. I have no personal car, but if I did I would bring it to these guys without question.

I stopped by about closing time and the owner and FOREST were extremely accommodating. This was a holiday weekend and both men were on my automobile with their expertise .The automobile was fixed with additional work which was not in original work order . The fair cost was also welcoming.I will return to AA Tire whenever the need arises.Greg C .

This place and the staff are AMAZING!! My traction and check engine light kept turning on. I had my jeep warranty still, so i took it to JEEP to check it out. After very rude customer service and 4 days with out a car and no loaner (because they didn't have any), which under warranty they should have. I get a $400 dollar bill to replace the battery and a diagnostic fee! I was pissed. Mind you I am a single mother barely making it and they just fixed my car without asking me first if i could even afford it. Long story short. Paid them went on my way. not even 2 weeks later check engine light and traction light comes on and wheel starts pulling to the right, take it back to jeep demanding they fix it and they try to say its going to cost me $1200 (this is after i waited 3 days) to JUST START. BS!! So take it to AA Tire for 2nd opinion and WOW can you believe it best cost to fix $600 and it can be done by the next day. The staff was so sweet, extremely helpful, AND THEY ARE HONEST!!! So blessed i stumbled upon them. I will send everyone i know to them!

Do not use this mechanic they are scammers! I had a tire with a slow leak that I had been filling for literally MONTHS with no problems. 15 or so psi every 2 days. They tell me it s going to blow soon, fill it to 48 psi (normal pressure should be 30), and when I went to drive to work today it was COMPLETELY flat. So it s fine for months then I go there and it s instantly flat overnight?!? Something doesn t add up here. Also they said I needed new rotors on a brake job then proceeded to tell me They don t make them like they used to when I had only heard the scraping for one day. Either they are SCAMMERS or completely INCOMPETENT! Either way, use them at your own risk.

Had a great experience at this shop a few weeks ago and wanted to share my experience. Both Chris and Eric were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, not to mention very nice to work with. I only needed 4 tires but they looked at other things like my air filters (which I had neglected and were disgusting!) and a belt that needed replacement since I have nearly 100K miles on my car. They performed an alignment, (which I really needed because my car was drifting like crazy before) and my car has been driving super smooth since I left them. Wasn't happy with how much I had to pay but I know it was all necessary work and they did a great job. They also pointed out all the rebates that were available to me and gave me what I needed to submit those rebates (saved me $300 in the end) Thanks very much and I will be back when my car needs more TLC

I have been going to this shop for a number of years for all major car repairs. The father, and now the next generation of owners, his son Chris have always been honest, fair and most competent in their work and standing by it. I highly recommend them to all...! Been going here for 6 years took great care of my 2012 Kia Forte for 6 years, then I traded it for a 2001 Wrangler Sahara Jeep, had them check it out before I brought it, they detailed all that was wrong with it then they told me it was a clean truck to get. Now they will be showing me how to schedule keeping it running at it s best, I trust these guys like you wouldn t believe, experience has been great knowing them. A1 business

Excellent service! My car died suddenly and within minutes the Goodyear guys came to the rescue. They are professional and courteous and most of all reliable. I would recommend Goodyear to anyone in need of service!

I've been coming Farmingdale Goodyear for over ten years. I've never felt I was being ripped off or lied to from anyone here. The service is great, they are courteous, and the mechanics are excellent at their craft. The owner and managers are very friendly and they take the time to explain what your vehicle needs, and this is coming from a person who hates car mechanics in general.I bring my corporate vehicle as well as my personal vehicle here. I fully trust them with both. If they tell me that I need something, then I know for sure that my vehicle needs whatever it is they recommend.Most importantly, there are no crooks here, as some reviewers would have you believe. Pay no attention to any negative review you see here. Clearly, you can't please everyone.As a side note, I just got my work vehicle back from them today (2/15/17). I had a bad experience with a dealership service center (had to take it there due to warranty and recall issues), who assured me that my vehicle was fully repaired and working great. Two days later, my check engine light came on and was flashing (never a good thing). Farmingdale Goodyear found and fixed the problem quickly and my vehicle has not driven this well in almost a month!I absolutely recommend Farmingdale Goodyear to anyone! My thanks to everyone there!

Honest and reliable! I have been going to AA Tire and service for four years and the service is always great. My car is five years old and I always appreciate the guys letting me know what it needs to keep the car in great shape. I have a long commute and practically live in my car and I need it to be reliable. Cars depreciate, wear down, and take lots of abuse. They need maintenence not just oil changes. I see other reviews where people complain because they go in for an oil change and the mechanic recommends other things be fixed. It is for your safety and the cars best interest. This is their job folks! I hate paying for car maintenance too but it is a part of life. Take care of your car and it will take care of you. There was even a time when I had an issue with my car and they could have made money off of me however Chris recommendeded I check to see if the problem was covered under my chevy warranty first. It was and I didn't pay a dime. They could have fixed the car and charged me but they were being honest. I never have written a review before but I felt compelled to because this is one of the few places with good customer service. I find that these days good service is lacking in many industries and customers are treated as if they are not important. Go here and you will be treated right. Never had a bad experience.

Good Looking Out!My car has seen some miles and I'm the first to admit I don't like to spend too much, but when I stopped in for an oil change Chris actually checked out my car as part of his service. He explained my fan belt was frayed, my rear tires needed to be changed and I had a screw in one and a nail in the other. Then he showed me.I've recently taken my car for an inspection, a tire rotation even a battery change elsewhere and no one else noticed anything. They did the job I asked to do, no more no less. Needless to say I changed my oil, bought new tires and will be back to change the fan belt. It's better to be safe than sorry. Thanks Goodyear of Farmingdale!

Unfortunately this place takes advantage of people and their money. They are last resorts for some and for others they are new and reccomended mechanics. But sadly they are crooks. They say they will fix something and they don't. They say you need this, this, and this replaced on your car... But you don't. They say they fixed something... But they break something else. Why? So you can come back and give them your hard earned money like the suckers they take us to be. But not anymore. We are fighting back. BBB (Better Business Bureau) has been notified and i recommend that if they have truly lied to you and scammed you that you do the same because a place like this does not deserve to keep running as a name brand business or a business at all. A car was taken to them less then a month ago to have some work done and an inspection. The car would not pass inspection unless it had certain stuff fixed. So we tell them go ahead fix what needs to be fixed. I came to find out that they had not fixed what needed to be fixed after the inspection was passed. I consulted a REAL mechanic after a couple of weeks because the car made strange noises. Keep in mind that the car was just "fixed" and passed for inspection. I came to find out they didn't do what needed to be done and i was still charged hundreds of dollars for nothing. I even asked them.if the car needed anti-freeze and he said not its full you dont need to put anything in it. The anti-freeze chamber was bone dry. Lied straight to my face. Eric you have disappointed.

Last year they replaced the battery in my car, and broke the casing to it. Today I had to have it replaced again. I should go back to them and demand my money back, but you know why I won't? Because I refuse to walk into that place ever again. They were rude, disrespectful and they treated me like I was stupid the first time I was there. Never, ever again.My coworkers, friends and one family member have all had bad experiences here. Do not go to these guys, save your money there are better places.
