Horrible customer service. Horrible communication. Stay as far away from this place as possible. They don't care about the safety of your vehicle and do not return phone calls or emails. I had to repeatedly call and email just to get a phone call back from someone in service.Highly recommend Volvo in Ramsey instead! They fixed my issue within 24 hours. Will not be returning to Volvo white plains for our next lease! Would love to give my business anywhere else.

Absolutely Terrible! The service department always has major opportunities with regards to communication, transparency, loaner availability and service time slots. I have had three terrible and inexcusable experiences at this location with only one decent experience. It shouldn t take 1 week+ to get a tire change on a new car even if you are willing to wait the 2hours

Volvo Service White Plains gets high marks based on my experience with Lina. She navigated with the warranty company and with my insurance to make sure my repairs were covered. She also kept me calm during the entire process.Lina calls back when promised, e mails to keep you up to date, etc. Working with LIna made me feel I had a personal advocate in the service department. Highly recommend working with Lina

Luigi was AWESOME! He was so kind and welcoming, like running into an old friend. He immediately put me at ease. I felt prioritized and heard. He took his time to answer all my questions and really made my experience a great one.I just bought my preowned Volvo in June. I heard a concerning noise so I took it in to the service center early on a Monday morning. I called ahead and was told they didn t have any appointments until that Friday, but I could go in and wait, and they would squeeze me in whenever possible. The waiting area was comfortable and clean, and they had fancy snacks and Perrier waters. I only waited about 2-3 hours, which I thought was pretty reasonable considering. Luigi made sure to keep me updated on the status of my vehicle while I waited.Since I had the time I ran across the street and visited my salesperson Niki, and she chatted with me for a good 20 minutes.I ve been very pleased with my experiences at Volvo White Plains thus far. People like Luigi and Niki are what make it. The cherries on top!

Atrocious customer service. Twice now I ve trusted them and twice they ve managed to be the worst.First time was getting body work done and they completely dropped the ball and delayed everything by a month.Second time was routine service (car was supposed to get picked up, no one ever came, no one answering any of the phones in service, including the managers). Go somewhere else!

Great service!! I was very pleased with my visit. This is a first-class dealership that offers courteous and professional service to their customers. They even have a parts department..

$900 for oil change, air filter, spark plugs replacement and diagnostics on a 12 year old car. $540/$840 for labor. In the end I was offered another $11,500 worth of repairs... I'll stay away next time.

My S60 is under warranty with less than 4,000 miles and went into turtle mode, was toward top Volvo after speaking with service do they would expect it. After a week it still has not been inspected nor have any inquiries been answered. I'm thinking Acura...

This place is absolutely horrendous. From the service to the staff. Went in for routine maintenance and a recall for software update Which Volvo emailed me about. I get there and they had no idea of the recall?? How is that possible VOLVO? 4 hours later I get my car back, and driving home on I-95 interstate - What I can only describe as sounding like a tire is blown!! I m traveling at highway speed with a truck behind me, almost causing an accident! I get to the shoulder to find out their staff DIDN T PUT THE UNDERCARRIAGE BOLTS back on! 5, yes FIVE bolts missing, allowing the lip to pop off at a High speed on a highway. This could have caused a major accident, dropping down like a snow plow! - Of course it s end of day, and NO ONE answers the phone. No way to call for assistance. Now stuck with the damage!

Very disappointed. I'm not confident that they know how to diagnose & repair a real problem for your Volvo. My Volvo had to be towed and repaired twice for engine overheating within the last 6 weeks only to experience the same problem and needing to be towed again a third time.At this point, I think they may be able to only do regular service, but I will be searching for another place that is actually able to repair cars. They also can not supply a loaner unless you book months in advance. Their facility is shiny though ...

After two negative experiences at this dealer, I will NEVER AGAIN set foot in their garage. Neither experience was excusable. On one occasion they replaced my front shocks, sway bar links and performed an alignment. A little pricey (stealership) but they did the job. But the fun starts here! Not two days after the service, my ABS cluster lights up and I return asking the OBVIOUS question "why is this sensor defect code up after front end work?" They said they would look into it. Over $500 for a sensor repair that was most likely caused by poor front end work. (Approx. 100k miles with no problems, and a sudden code after service is almost guaranteed gross negligence by the service team.) NOTE: I write this because only one day later, the other ABS sensor failed. With no apparent cause, 2x ABS sensor failures after shock replacement, and Volvo white plains denying responsibility. I got the second repair performed at a local shop, for half the price. I'd also add that a member of their service team behind the counter was exceptionally rude and had a smart mouth during my first service there with no apparent cause for his insulting language and arrogant conduct. That should have been my warning sign to leave. In conclusion...NEVER again, and stay away from this business. You have been warned. Inexcusable lack of respect and unaccountability.

I brought my car in for service and was told everything looked good. A short time and very few miles later, a different Volvo dealership told me my brake pads were gone, and my rotors were ground down and destroyed. When I called White Plains Volvo, I spoke to a service manager who assured me he would get to the bottom of why my brake pads were overlooked during my service. It has been over three weeks, and I am still waiting for a call. Also, a valve stem cover was missing after my service at White Plains Volvo. When I told the service technician, he said, "Just get another one." Lastly, no one kept me updated through the service appointment. Whenever I asked for an update, I was told the car was still being worked on. I sat for an hour after the vehicle had been completed without being notified. Additionally, no one showed me fluid levels or readouts during the service. Stay away from this place.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The customer service is consistently dreadful. I send the car in to repair a recalled part. They don't have it. I send the car in for a new battery, they don't have it. Both times I had called in advance and they knew why the car was coming in. And on top, I was misquoted the price of the battery on the phone and they wouldn't honor it. They need paperwork done to get a loaner for an appointment I booked three weeks ago, and they send the paperwork three hours before closing time the day before, and say they'll cancel my appointment if they don't get it back. I would expect much more from a "premiere" service. I makes me reconsider getting another Volvo.

Scheduled service drop off for 730am. The did not communicate the status of the vehicle all day. Called them at 430pm and they had not even ran the codes to understand what was wrong with it. Arranged a ride home from a coworker. Next day I needed to reach out to them mid day to get the status. It was a simple issue that needed a software update. Poor communication and lack of basic urgency to do a simple job.

Service advisors are warm and friendly. The waiting room is very nice. Hence two stars instead of one.Once I left, however, they pretty much forgot about me. My appointment was scheduled for 9am and by the end of day, I had received no update on the repair not even a diagnostic update. I called but no answer. First thing following morning (a Saturday) I called again and they answered but told me that my service advisor was out until Monday and that I should call back then. I protested and then they said they would send an advisor upstairs and call me back. Turns out, the car received no work on the day I had brought it in. None. Not even a diagnostic. What was the point of scheduling an appointment with them?Unfortunately, the other negative reviews here are spot on with my experience. I would recommend another business if you can drive to one. I m afraid to try the Hudson Valley Volvo (though their reviews are better) only because it s owned by the same Premiere Collection company and clearly what s going on here at White Plains is a managerial issue. I don t see any improvement in response to the negative reviews listed here. Blurg!

I only came here because Mt Kisco Volvo (great place) closed and directed their customers here. As with many other 1 star reviews posted here, I also experienced dishonesty, non-existent communication, and an absence of customer service etiquette at White Plains Volvo on multiple service calls. I had to complain to Volvo corporate to get some of the issues resolved. This is a management and culture problem at this location and not isolated to a single service person. Read the other negative reviews and a clear, consistent pattern emerges. If you decide to bring your car here, you have been warned.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great experience bringing my car in for its 10k mile service. Miguel was a pleasure to work with, he provided a loaner and addressed all items I mentioned upon dropping my car off. On pickup I waited in the lounge which offered muffins, cookies, coffee and beverages. Overall a 5-star experience for a first time Volvo owner.

Service department really needs real customer focused reps in there. They don t know simple point to run VIN to validate Volvo provided warranty. Me spending 5 days to prove to them that I have Volvo warranty and painstakingly wait for them to schedule appointment to fix broken windshield. I have to continually follow to get updates rather than they taking effort to keep me posted. Tick tock.. it s at 10 days of not being able to drive my Volvo xc90.. Last time in similar incident, Smythe Volvo handled it in 3/4 days to resolving it. It s a pity, white plains Volvo service team is stuck like a snail. May be I should have gone back to Smythe Volvo.

5 stars due to Elijah in service helping me out with a quick issue relative to a part I had just purchased. A small kindness went a long way! Thank you!

After waiting for nearly 10 days and shelling out close to 7K the car still has issues. When I went back to the center, they took the car in and said a part has been damaged when they did the initial service, and they need to order in and that they will get back to me by end of the week, I had to call back again a week later for stating there s another problem that s creeped up over and above that, the service advisor didn t pick call again and I got a call from sales section and they booked an appointment and said they will ask the service advisor to get in touch with me. The worst part of this is the service advisor is not reachable, never receives call nor does he call back nor does he respond to voice messages, wonder why they even give us the business card to reach out to them. When I call the service center they transfer to him and again he doesn t receive the call. Most of all they do not value our time. Just frustrating on the customer service being provided here.Upon complaining about my frustration regarding having to wait few more days to get the car in and on the service advisor to the service center, the service center person insults me saying seems like the only problem here is you need a courtesy car which we don t have currently.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Please don't use this service centerAll they care about is how to make customer pay more and find every possible way to do that and when it comes to loaner they confirm that the loaner is all set but when you go there they act like that they are not sure about the loaner especially service manager who I saw which is not even my 1st time. They ruined my morningThey could have easily resolved the issue but their laziness and impatience to make few calls made me hate this place and not go there any moreAs a matter of fact this will be my last Volvo which I would like to get rid of ASAPPoor making for hefty priceVolvo is not the same they are just trying to use the past impression and make cash out of itServices: Auto body & trim repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Updating my review from 1 star below to 4.Today I gave the service center another chance and it was a completely different experience from a year ago. John S. was the Service Advisor, he called right away to talk through the work being performed and timing. I got another call during the day to provide an update and then to notify when the car was completed. John was friendly and organized - great support provided by him!We also used the pickup service - they were very prompt and communicative.I m happy to see the significant improvement compared to last year. Looking forward to continuing to use Volvo of White Plains. -Terrible customer service here, this is the last time I use this location. I reserved an appointment for a scheduled maintenance at 9:30 am. By the end of the day, nobody had reached out and there is no answer on any phone line. To top it off, the voicemail boxes are full! The next morning, I had to continue calling nonstop until someone answered. After a long hold, she had to escalate to her manager, Frank, because she couldn t get a status on the car. A bit later she called back saying it would be done shortly. Now, 5 hours later, no car and no update. I again call and call with no luck. Finally after calling the sales location I was able to get some assistance. She called the service department and an adviser will call you soon , but couldn t say if my car would definitely be done by end of day today, 2 business days after my scheduled appointment. Unacceptable, the only response was we are busy . I ll opt for a longer drive to get some real customer service, this is not the Volvo service I expect.

I had a great experience buying my car here, but my first service experience was horrible. I had a flat tire, and called to see if they had a tire for me. They said yes, and I made an appointment to come that afternoon. I waited for two hours, assuming they were putting my tire on, but after all that time they then tell me that they only had one tire left, and they "promised it to someone else." They said there was nothing whatsoever they could do for me, the tire was backordered and would be impossible to get anywhere, and I was just out of luck and I should drive around on my donut spare until the unknown date that this tire became available. After I left the dealer I drove directly to my mechanic, who found the tire immediately. Customer service is clearly not a priority for these people.

Great experience. From out of town for Easter and noticed a part falling off my XC60 undercarriage Saturday of Easter weekend. Brought in Saturday without an appointment. 30 min later car fixed and washed. No charge for service! Had free coffee in the beautiful waiting room. Very polite and friendly service. Doesn t get better than that.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have owned 5 Volvo cars purchased and serviced by Mt Kisco Volvo over the past 20 years and was always happy with their service. They unfortunately were taken over by Volvo of White Plains. I called to inquire if they now have my service records. The woman answering the phone said she did not think so and that she didn t know who would know . I asked if I could be connected to the service department to speak with someone and she said she was in the service department. I would not recommend this place at all.UPDATE: After posting my review I received a call from Rob the Service Manager. I informed him of my call to the number listed online which was a 844 number. I learned this was a call center number and NOT the local dealer service dept. I mistakenly thought I was speaking directly to WP Volvo. He was apologetic and answered my service question and arranged for me to have my car seen. I brought the car in today and Rob listened to my problem & had a mechanic Jeff attend to my car. I have given them a 5 star for the Service Manager being responsive to my complaint, & resolving my car concern quickly and efficiently. The service area was neat, clean & super efficient. The waiting area was comfortable, the mechanic was knowledgeable and the Service Manager professional. This was my first encounter with Volvo of WP as I used Mt Kisco Volvo for 23 years until they closed. It was a positive experience and I will be back.Service: Transmission

I purchased my car at Mt Kisco. However, after 20 years it was taken over by Volvo white Plains. My experience at Mt.Kisco has been great. However, My car was towed to Volvo white Plains on Monday morning. I called all day Wednesday. After finally, someone answered I was told no one had taken a look at my car. I was promised a call back with a diagnosis on Wednesday before the end of the day, no one called me. I called all day on Thursday, no one answered and no one called me. I took the day off from work on Friday and went in person to the White Plains service center. after speaking to a rep he went and found out that Mario hadn't taken a look at my car. I was again promised a resolution before the end of the day. I didn't get a call or a diagnosis. I am paying for a rental car that costs me 400.00 a week.Today Saturday and after speaking with a very nice front desk worker she informed me that no one is in to help me and that my car still hadn't been looked at.This has been the worst customer service I have ever seen in my 52 years.Stay away from white Plains Volvo!!!Update! My car is home.Rob the service manager at White Plains Volvo called us right away. It was a Saturday and he called us to assure us that on Monday we would get a call with an update. He did call On Monday and just as he promised we had our estimated cost and estimated time.Rob Sexton is extremely professional and cares about his customers. Volvo at white plains is very lucky to have a great a manager like Rob.Thank you Rob Sexton.I am happy to see my car fixed and in my driveway. It was a 5 start service after Rob got involved.I love my Volvo!

My husband takes his car x90 here for service- they are not warm and fuzzy - they have no idea of who is doing what - they don t update you. He s had so many computer issues with his check engine light - brings in for service- they make an appointment and then say he needs to leave the car overnight?!! Why have an appointment??!! They can never fix the problem! They charge him and say they replaced something and then same issue happens the next day!! This same scenario has happened 3 times! I hate to think the mechanics aren t skilled enough however I am not seeing these issues at other service centers.Service: Electrical
