I trust this shop with my Porsche. Like many of you; you don t want just anyone fooling around with your car. This place knows that and takes good care of you car.

All Good!! I had a very encouraging and confidence-building visit to Rennwerke Porsche Technicians shop this week. They evaluated, serviced, and NY-inspected a 2015 Macan-S. The work was done efficiently and at a fair price, relative to a local Porsche dealer service. Many thanks to Cheech, Pam and the Technical Staff. I will be back!!

A great Porsche repair shop, and the inside looks like a Porsche and racing museum. I think it is a blessing that we have Rennwerke shop in our area. The service was done on time and within the discussed budget. The car is running well. Will come again. Many thanks to Cheech and his team.Services: Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance, Oil changeServices: Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance, Oil change

This is a highly-regarded shop in the area, so I was unprepared for the long (six month) expensive ($25,000) ordeal my 997 PDK repair turned into. Finally got the car back with outstanding issues I'll need to go elsewhere to resolve. OK, I understand these are complex mechanisms. But I can't excuse being billed for work (replacing the battery, $400+) that was simply never done. I know because I installed the existing battery myself less than a year ago. Now Cheech doesn't even return my calls.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I am now on my third air-cooled 911. Porsche cars aren't cheap to buy or to maintain properly. These guys don't claim to be the cheapest around, but they're fair and in terms of the value you get for the money, they are the best I've seen anywhere. When I got there to pick the car up, they put it back up on a lift and Melfi, the technician, dropped what he was doing and took me through everything they did on the car in detail. It was clear he was proud of his work and he had a right to be. I got the impression that everyone working there liked the shop and the cars. Anywhere else, you'd pay the bill, maybe get a couple of questions answered and be on your way. Cheech spent so much time with me, I was worried he had other things I was keeping him from doing. By the way, the car I picked up was a lot more fun to drive than the one I brought in. There are lots of mechanics. This shop is different for a lot of reasons. This is the only place I'll take my 88 911 Carrera going forward.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Air conditioning, Oil change

Update - First impressions go a long way, especially when it comes with the momentum of many previously positive reviews.Mine wasn t great but Cheech (owner) called me personally to explain with some exasperation what services were rendered for the fifty dollar inspection. He explained they did a pre check for codes and the tech escorted my car to a third party location where the actual state inspection was run and upon passing and application of the sticker chaperoned the inspector to make sure it was applied neatly. This explanation was very appreciated but I wish it had come during the first impression. I d have happily given a 5 star review and lauded their attention to detail like others have, instead of walking away feeling the way I did.In retrospect I d like to upgrade my rating to 3.5 stars but if you ve got more patience and a thicker skin than me I d overwhelmingly suggest you try them out. My experience has left me with uncertainty if I d go back but however quirky, they do have integrity and quality at heart.Initial -The shop is pretty cool but I wouldn't agree with some of the other reviews and call it immaculate. It's more like an enthusiasts shop called out of some romanticized memory. The techs seemed good natured and fairly professional. Now the reason I'm rating this two stars. The owner Cheech is a character for sure and comes off as relatively affable but more of a pat you on the back and don't let the door hit you in the a$$ on the way out. I was ripped off today for a State inspection. The inspection was done pretty quickly but when it came time to pay he said $50 cash no card. I paid and left but realized when I looked at the inspection receipt it said $37. That is a State mandated fee. I might have been ok with it had I been told upfront it is the fee plus expediting cost. Just left a bad taste and many questions whether any future charges would be "fair" as some people have said. I have no illusions that having a Porsche can come with some steep expenses but anyone should expect fair and upfront. It's a shame I had this experience at a business that some hold in higher regard.

Cheech & all the guys at Rennwerke are more knowledgeable & passionate Porsche guys than exist anywhere outside of Germany. There is also a Family atmosphere and a friendliness that is really like being transported to Westchester County in the 1980's..... I had them do a whole bunch of stuff on my Boxster and then I sat and talked to Cheech the owner about WWII Fighter Planes.Anyone with a bit of sense that knows Porsche knows these guys are the goods. Most recently, I had one of my keys disappear and Cheech replaced it for about half what the local dealer asked AND they washed and detailed my car (For a key!).I'd give them 7 stars if I could...LOVE these guys.

5 STARS! 2 THUMBS WAY UP! This place could be a Porsche museum with some of the stuff he has here. I am a new vintage Porsche owner and Cheech the owner made me feel like his top customer. I came all the way from Brooklyn just to have my car serviced. His staff is friendly and professional and they take great pride in their work, for example, when I showed up to pick my car up, he had a whole crew mopping the floor of the shop, SPOTLESS! Think about how he cares for your car if he's mopping the floor of a car workshop! Cheech didn't BS me, he didn't add items to my order just because, he gave me what I needed and told me what I would need down the line, not making me spend unnecessarily. Furthermore, with all the high end cars he has there, he still called me numerous times to tell me about the work he was doing on my car, you can tell he treats each customer as his only, doesn't matter if your car is $30,000 or $300,000 (or even $3,000,000).You can tell he LOVES what he does.Lastly, after I took my car home, he called me that evening to check if I was satisfied, again customer service all the way. What a great guy, great staff (Chris is great too), great time just hanging there seeing all the amazing Porsches he works on.Highly recommend, will definitely repeat. These guys knows what they are doing!

I tried to DIY a muffler swap on my 997.2 but I got stuck from not being able to remove the flange studs. Took it to Rennwerke the tech did it in a way that I haven't read about without needing to mess with the flange bolts / nuts! I was in and out in a hour! These guys know their stuff.Shop is clean as a whistle and their rate are very reasonable given quality of work. Very happy about my visit, Rennwerke will be my default p-car shop from now on.

I have seen this place build, rebuild and restore some amazing machines. CHEECH, the owner is a special person. An exmilitary man who hand picks his technicians and inspects every job before it leave. 1 of for authentic Porsche restoration shops recognized by Porsche north America. Cheech does not let people make bad decisions. He is upfront and honest. You will always know his stance or opinion on something. If you are making, have made, or are considering making a stupid decision you going to know if it's a mistake. They do every thing from build race cars from the ground up to basic new car services. For restorations he is the guy you want extremely through down to the original labels and bolts the man is a Porsche and German car guru. Sometimes you will see some serious American cars in the shop as well. Love this place.

Five stars isn't enough. This is, without a doubt, the best Porsche repair shop I ever have encountered -- and I say this in the context of someone who has lived all over the US. I could wax on about their knowledge, service, integrity and fairness, but I'll just summarize by saying that if you own a Porsche, bring it here. Period.

What can you say when they know more about Porsche's than a Porsche Dealer? Great Service, Very Knowledgeable, and a nice bunch of guys. You can eat off the floor of the service bays, and there is always some cool stuff to look at in the parking lot. It's like a Porsche Museum.

What a great find. A professional shop with experience, knowledge, honesty and integrity. Squeaky clean, awesome tech's and important Porsches everywhere. I'd like going there even if I did't need any work done!Much thanks to Cheech, Chris, Daphne and the crew.

*Disclamer: I did not have any service performed at this shop.I was told by a fellow friend who also owns a Porsche for a recommended shop to get some services done. I called in last week for a quote and a friendly gentleman answered the phone. He noted that they were very busy and the owner was not in so he would give me a call back Monday. He took down my information and the services I was looking to get done. I figured no big deal since I was not in a hurry anyways.Monday comes and it was almost closing hour, so I thought I would just give them a call (maybe they forgot since they were busy). This time a lady picks up the call and asks what I was calling for. I told her the story and the services and model of my vehicle. She then proceeded to tell me that they do not provide quotes regardless of who I spoke to. She stated firmly that they charged $120/hr. I thought fine, so I asked her if she could give me an estimate on how long it would take to do the service. She answered "I do not know", she did not even try to ask for me. At this point I was a little upset at her condescending attitude and I asked if this was the way they conducted business. She answered "yes, we have many clients and we are very busy everyday". At this point I just told her to have a nice day and ended the call.I cannot speak for the business and the services they provide, but I can certainly say their customer service is something else. Maybe I am not wealthy enough since I am asking for something as ridiculous as a quote.(I am a fellow member on rennlist as well)

I've seen owners driving 993s with this place's license plate frame and I asked myself "where is this place?"But when I finally found the place I Only went there once a while back and never got to visit the showroom, but if I were you guys I mark this place on your Google Maps because it is indeed EXTREMELY RARE to find a place like Rennwerke to search, restore, sell Porsches of ANY generation.Kudos to Rennwerke

Best place around for your Porsche. Honest, complete, and well done service at a fair price. I like to use the word "integrity" about here and the owner. And that is what matters.
