Best junkyard ever! Seriously! This place is absolutely amazing! The website is extremely easy to use which is usually hard when it comes to junkyards. Whoever created and edits the website did/does a stellar job! Last Friday was my first visit. I came from Williamsport, Pa. I drove 1-1/2 hours. Staff was very friendly when I entered. Made me feel welcome and helped me locate my vehicles. 2$ entrance fee. They have wheelbarrows ready to use for whoever needs, free of charge. Every row is organized and easy to navigate. I got a lot of parts but held myself back because I thought I was going to pay a lot. I was expecting them to say $200 but my total was only 46$ for a ton of stuff!! They also have weekly specials which is exciting as a costumer. Whoever manages this place does a perfect job! Honestly, this is the most fair and professional yard I ve ever been to. I ll be a regular costumer! Love it! Keep up the great work!

All the employees are lazy and refuse to lift a finger for anything. Manager Anthony is the laziest one of all. Was counting money well before close then refused to help me, gave me a bunch of attitude for showing up close to close. I am appalled with the customer service here. I offer to buy but you wont serve me. F your business

Very rude!! Whatever you do don't go by their prices online. When you get there the price is about 40 higher you can go buy new parts at their prices. The lady who was working the desk just yells numbers and acts all rude. Save your money an buy new.

Went here yesterday and the service was horrible and the workers was very nasty and rude I will not be going back there again for anything and don't recommend this place to anyone

Best junkyard I've been to in a long time. The only part I didn't like was not knowing how much everything was going to cost until after I got to the door and had it removed from the cars. I'd like to have a general idea of how much it's going to cost for the things I'm going to look for and spend the time to take out.

Called on a Thursday 8/24 to have a part pulled and was told I would be called the next day. Waited several days and on Monday called to ask about part and was told it was severely rotted and not useable. I own a garage locally and was relying on that part. For them not to call is extremely unprofessional. Probably won t receive much business from my way anymore.

Bought a tailgate for my truck today.50.00.After the 20 percent discount with their new bonus card app.It was 40.70.What an awesome deal.Staff is helpful as can be.Thanks Pic A Part .You get a 5 Star x2 Rating.= A Perfect 10.

I was looking for somewhere to sell my 2006 highlander that was in just ok shape and still ran (but not reliably). After some dead ends and low offers, I contacted Gary s U Pull It and they gave me a more reasonable offer, and even said they d send someone to tow my car to this Horseheads location (a 45 minute drive from my house) for no charge! I wasn t available to drive to their office for 6 days after they picked up my car, but they were fine with holding it and waiting. I was a little nervous because we only ever had a verbal agreement over the phone and I had no written paperwork to back it up, but it turns out I shouldn t have been worried at all! I showed up and within MINUTES they sorted through the paperwork, had me sign a few things, and handed me the cash we had verbally agreed upon for my car. This process literally couldn t have been easier!

They have stopped posting photos of their inventory. They did this because that way you have to travel there to see if the parts you need are there. That way they collect a fee for yoy being there even if your part was not. Totally criminal.

Horseheads Pick A Pocket Many Dishonest Workers Would never go there again truthfully what a shitshow for sure. I guess you get what you pay for to the business Owner that let's this happen without doing anything about it . To the people who go there pay close attention to the cashier's that are cashing you out

This place is a gold mine of parts. Lots of cars to pull from. We were only looking to replace a torn throttle body gasket and they gave us a list of 3 cars to check and found what we needed on the first one we checked. All I needed was a screwdriver which I took with me.There was a lot of space to place new parts cars. I've been going here for a long time but it's been a while, and now they charge $2 to get in but I think that gets applied to your part purchase on the way out. You sign in prior to entry to the yard. No one under 16 allowed. They buy cars too. You can pull the part or they can for a fee.If you need a part and need it now and want to save money, be sure to check this gem out!

Pretty much exactly what you'd expect and hope for out of a part yard. Plenty of people to help. They were very friendly, explained how it worked since it was my first time and I saved big bucks on some rims.Only down side is there's no tools supplied but as long as you know that and come prepared you won't have any issues. They even conveniently have a limited supply of sockets and such available for purchase if you forget (which luckily I didn't).I haven't used the service but the parts picker service sounds nice if you're looking for something specific.

Terrible service. I asked the counter staff to turn up the heat.. they had the audacity to say no!!! Then proceeded to tell me he had no control of the temperature outside.!!I mean pffttt at least try. ;-)As always the workers were helpful,friendly, and sympathetic to my frostbite and broken finger.(All my fault) that's why I go there SO OFTEN! well happy part pulling. :) no pun intended...

Great people! Very helpful too. You can pick and pull your own parts and they buy cars in cash. Yard is also reasonably clean compared to alot of parts yards with plenty of options that meets your needs. They sell used tires and batteries as well.

The employees were very helpful and was greatly priced for selling your vehicle to them. I'm very pleased with their prices and their courtesy. I definitely reccomend them to anyone who needs to sell their old vehicles for scrap or to buy parts.

This place is amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable and Competent staff. Love going here and getting the parts I need, and stuff I didn t know I needed. They even have a pull it for you program. A++

I don't go often, but the people that interface with customers are almost unexpectedly amazing, fantastic, nice, very helpful and knowledgeable. The yard is very organized.Easy to find the vehicle you're looking for with the map....and I wrote this review before reading other reviews which confirm my observations about the employees.

At this point I am fairly certain that I have been to every U-Pull junkyard in upstate NY. That being said, Horsehead's is easily one of my favorite. Very helpful and friendly staff and a neat, easy to navigate yard. I look forward to paying them a visit when they have something I need!

Pick-A-Part has a very good selection and curious staff. My only complaint is that they need longer hours on Saturday and be open on Sunday. They were prompt in notifing me of a new vehicle added to the yard which allowed me to have $70 by going to get the part (taillight) I needed. Only caution I would give anyone going out, make sure you have good footwear (boots would be best) and expect to get muddy if it had rained in the past few days.

Well organized. Very helpful staff. Row52 app is quite useful. But prices are a touch high for a junkyard, and longer Saturday hours would be nice. I don't go anywhere else anymore.

I have been coming to Pic a Part since 1992 literally. I went there today. By the time I left, I had my mind made up to never come here again. The reason why is because they now charge a $2.00 yard entry fee. I can easily go to another yard that does NOT charge a fee to walk in. Pic a Part needs to get rid of that fee. Stuff like that ruins businesses.

Normally I would give a five star price is good and normally friendly stuff tagged along with my brother today to help him take off a truck bed and one of the employees took it up to the parking lot in one of the machines my brother asked another employee if they could give him a hand to set it on his truck because it was to heavy for me to lift that high one of the men said sure we will give you a hand and said let me go get another guy to help too well needless to say that guy came out and said nope can't help ya not allowed!! Said its policy ummm what!! It took my brother and I like an hour to put that on truck and I was struggling to lift that truck bed but we got it with no help from pick a part thinking they lost my brothers business he's up there all the time and spends a good amount of money there and couldn't even get a little help unbelievable!!!!
