Very nice shop , Anthony is very helpful, prices are very reasonable and auto service is done quickly. Fixed my truck break lines and my wife s jeep in a very professional way .

This shop is always very busy for a reason; they don't mess around. They do things right here, and they do right by the customer. I've had times where they were so busy that I couldn't match up my schedule with theirs, but they've always made an effort to take care of me and they've helped me out when other places wasted my time, so for that I will always recommend Country Auto to others.

My complaint is directed towards the manager, Anthony, who replaced my alternator. I had the car towed there from another garage who performed a timing chain service on my Mini that later dripped oil, shortening the alternator that stalled the car on the side of the highway. I had the OEM alternator replaced by Anthony with an after markets alternator from NJ with no serial number at a cost of $500. I was told my OEM alternator was going to be sent back to NJ as part of the deal even though these alternators cost $200-$400 online.Yet, I was in a bind and needed the car fixed. When I spoke to Anthony by phone, he told me there was an oil leak and that he could not find where the oil leak was coming from and that I had to take my car to a car wash or detailing shop to have it cleaned. I said fine, and went down to pick up the car.Anthony was not there though, so I had the opportunity to talk to the mechanic that showed me where the oil leak was coming from due to a timing chain repair at the other garage that it was towed from.Something is wrong when the manger purposely leaves the garage when one is picking up the car with an issue, replace parts as part of an exchange, and then lies about not knowing where the oil leak is because the cover or engine is too dirty. I paid 5 hours worth of service according to Anthony because it takes an extra 3 hours to replace the belt that spins the alternator on top of the other work for part replacement. It was determined that the old alternator was covered in oil and for that reason alone, it had to be replaced and exchanged. Total bill for alternator and water pump pulley and serpentine belt - $1,395.80. I don't mind paying for good work, but for a manager not to tell me why it's broken - not cool, bad management and unsupervised ownership. Thank god, the mechanic stepped up and provided needed input. There s obvious recourse to all of this and Anthony was like - whatever. He was fine charging me an additional $48 on top of costs and tax as an administrative fee. These other reviewers are fake or nuts - small towns.Service: Auto engine tuning

This place was incredible. I had an emergency on the highway. They were able to get me in, diagnose the situation within 10 minutes and have me on the road within an hour. Super top notch service and incredible kind people. I hope my car doesn t break down again in the Hamptons, but if I lived here I wouldn t take my car anywhere else.

I purchased a car from Country Auto about 2 years ago and have been enjoying it. Recently one of the headlights blew and I couldn't get it out so I could change it. I called Country Auto and spoke to Anthony and he said I could bring it in. He had one of his mechanics check it out and he must have spent 15 minutes working on, and got it out, and they didn't charge me. I am very appreciative for their generosity and their willing to help me out. Good people.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical

Country automotive & it s owners Lysette & Joanne and manager Anthony & mechanic Lorenzo - all of the most amazing humans I ve ever met . ethical straightforward incredible at what they do. That s just the beginning of my experience over the last 5+ years with country automotive. I ve had everything done from engine replacement to transmission replacement brakes tires you name it I ve had it done but done in an ethical fair reasonable and straight up lovely manor. Everyone knows going to get work done on your car is like choosing a dentist it s one of the most difficult decisions one makes. I finally after my 44 years on this earth found the one automotive shop & people ( Lysette, Joanne , Anthony & Lorenzo) that I trust all of my cars & truck with!Lizzete @ Country automotive is incredible , knowledgeable, smart, no BS, & a woman owned & operated mechanics business - let s just talk about how amazing that is and I ve never walked into a place where when you see the walls on automotive shop the hand written letters thanking Lysette and staff - especially Anthony, and all these wonderful mechanics for their work. They truly do make a difference in your life . Going to bed every night not feeling like you re taking over the coals and trusting that the diagnosis and work to be completed is done by truly the best in the business. Thank you Lysette & thank you Anthony for all of your hard work and loyal dedication & support , and thank you everyone there for all you do. A big THANK YOU for the great job they did with my friend Karin's Sprinter.Prices were MORE THAN FAIR, everyone there was friendly and patient, happy to answer any questions and addressing any concerns we had.I work with the public on a daily basis, and know how important GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE is for any company.These folks take customer service to the next level.They now have two more customers for life!Thank you, Country Automotive!

If you drive an older foreign or domestic car or truck this is one of the best repair shops in our area. The work is done professionally and for a reasonable cost. The staff really does a great job of getting you back on the road quickly but without cutting corners. I've been using CA&D for over twenty years and I swear by them.

I would highly recommend Country Automotive and Diesel to everyone! I have been a customer since they first opened over 20 years ago. They are Friendly, hardworking and down to earth people. They are all the most Honest, efficient and conscientious workers that I have had the pleasure to know. They have always made time for my emergencies , and have gone above and beyond to keep our vehicles running properly. From Customer Service to the Mechanics, they are the best!

Excellent and trustworthy mechanics are hard to find and sometimes hard to afford. Country auto has been for me reasonably priced, professional, reliable repairs that are explained patiently afterward. This is what taking your car to the mechanic should feel like.

I love this place. I work and go to college full time and they always make it easy for me to fit in my oil changes and car repairs. They're all so honest and friendly... I also love their cat!! Thanks Country Auto, you're the Best !!!

Although I never have enough money to get my car fixed, they always help me in every way they can to keep my car going, such a warm and friendly atmosphere, such a clean place and they treat me really nice, I'd be lost without there caring ways. I'm blessed to have found them.

My family has been coming here for years and it has been nothing but great! Always honest and will make sure things are needed to be done at your certain mileage which is so important and will not what so ever rip you off. Very friendly, definitely recommend it!
