I had scheduled a 10AM appointment well in advance for my vehicle's State Inspection, however, I was appalled by the way my appointment was handled and the complete disregard for my time.Upon arrival at 10 AM I was informed that there would be a 3 hour delay in servicing my car as other customers had priority due to unforeseen events. Despite having a scheduled appointment, all other customers were prioritized and served ahead of me. This blatant disregard for my appointment time was not only disrespectful but also highly unprofessional. It left me feeling undervalued as a customer and wasted a significant amount of my time. I had made plans and arrangements based on the 10 AM appointment time, and the delay disrupted my entire schedule. I found it unacceptable that I was not given any updates or explanations for this situation PRIOR to driving all the way to the shop. The lack of communication and transparency further added to my frustration. As a loyal customer who has visited your workshop in the past, I had expected a higher level of service and professionalism. However, this recent experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I am seriously reconsidering whether I should continue to trust your establishment with my vehicle's maintenance and repairs. Customers should feel valued and appreciated, and their appointments should be honored as promised.

I ve been coming to to get my oil changed/tires here for years but they have fallen off with their customer service. I waited and waited and waited for someone to just come and greet me in the lobby as I did have a scheduled appointment. Nothing just continued to work on cars even though they clearly saw me. One of them even came in made a couple phone calls then walked back out. No acknowledgment Rude! I will start taking my business elsewhere. I work hard all day to but I don t treat ppl like trash

Excellent service and great value. Mike was great. I have a Tesla and it can only be lifted at certain jack points. The battery can be damaged if not done correctly which always makes me nervous. Mike ensured it was done correctly using my jack pads. Thank you Mike!

Will try to scam you! I needed a new battery today and they quoted me saying it was going to be $431 since I have an expensive battery for my car. We told the rep that autozone listed it for $250 online and we were going there instead. He then became rude and said autozone was one of their suppliers and that we would end up paying over $600 there so this was our best bet. While I do have an expensive battery for my car I ended up paying $274 total elsewhere. Should have brought my receipt in to show this guy- avoid at all costs they will try to scam you.

WARNING - do not get your car serviced here unless you know what is wrong with it. This place is untrustworthy (Kevin Watson) and will take advantage of unknowing customers. I had my rear brakes inspected for noise and was informed they needed replacement. I made an appointment a month later to get them replaced and verbally agreed to have the car inspected once the repairs were completed. After balking at the quoted repair for brakes (full replacement) I declined services at this Monroe and they decided to inspect my car regardless and charge me for an inspection that should not have take place. They also lied to me and said an inspector wouldn t be there until a few days after the car was repaired. Guess what? An inspector was apparently there when I canceled my service. Furthermore, after being my car to the dealer for assessment of the rear brakes, they determined the brakes were in good condition with over 50% of pad left. Passed inspection with a small repair totaling $200 as compared to what Monroe wanted to charge $1,700 for what I thought was needed to pass inspection. Crooked AF, stay far away.

I'm new to the area and let the ratings guide me here. I was honestly given the best auto-related service. Patrick welcomed my walk-in with a flat tire I had changed myself. He and Christian patched the hole, remounted the tire, and put my spare back to its original place. They worked fast. I was so impressed with how they treated me that after the job was done I let Patrick know that this where I'll go when it's time to get snow tires. After I asked about them he explained which tires he recommended for me and why. He also showed me what he uses on his vehicle. I'll be going here for any future services I need.

Not usually into the bigger brand name car service places but these guys are good. Knowledgeable and trustworthy. Thankful i found a reliable place to bring my car continuously. Front desk guy is pretty cute too so that's just an added bonus

Had tires mounted and balanced there. They did an adequate job. I told them no pound on weights on my aluminum rims, only stick on. I should have looked before leaving. They used pound on rim edge gripping weights.

UPDATE: The business made right and honored the original pricing. Wish it didn't take involvement at the corporate level, but mistakes happen and all is well. Vehicle is running great.

Mike and Kevin found a issue that my dealership said wasn t there it looks like I need a new steering column and my dealership said nothing was wrong so I thank them both for finding what was wrong because my steering wheel can lock up and no one wants that

There were two young gentleman working behind the counter. They both greeted me when I got there. They both assured me they will take good care of my daughter's Jeep. They called me when the oil change was done. He let me know her old Jeep was in good shape. Just needs some minor repairs. Told me if I needed any help to let him know.

I have a great experience at this Monroe. As a woman it can be hard to find an honest mechanic but I found the mechanics here to be very trustworthy and honest with me about the work they had to do on my car. I felt the prices were very reasonable and the work was done quickly. I will definitely be going back and I recommend this garage to my friends as well.

I've had good experiences at Monro for years. Paul is always courteous and helpful at the front desk. Ed was also great too! They are always able to get me in quickly and help me with any car related issues. They are always my "go to" people for my car - no matter what the issue! Be prepared to be surprised by their high level of customer service! Thanks Paul!

Went in to get my car inspected and they failed it because of a driver side windshield wiper, and tried to sell me a new battery as a required replacement saying it was draining the alternator (an alternator doesn t hold a charge). Very shady, essentially forced me to pay to fix a perfectly fine wiper and tried to trick me into replacing a battery that still functions just fine.

Have brought my car in several times for different services, oil changes, tire replacement, brakes, you name it. Patrick always takes care of you and they are at heart honest and will not try to sell you work that you don t need. I wish that all of the shops were like this.

They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I get my tires from here, and my oil change, but next visit will be a brakes n pads. They also give quotes with their suggestions after free inspection with oil change, so that helps to know. Best part is they hire very outgoing people at the desk, or maybe I just talk too much

OVERPRICE PARTS / TAKES ADVANTAGETold me the 3 control arms need replacing and attempted to charge me 229 parts plus 130 labor on each one. My inspection was up so they took the sticker and It felt like they were trying to back me into a corner. I could pay 229 for a part (that Moog only charges $80 for) or leave without a inspection sticker, considering he said 2 of the control arms are needed to pass inspection.Took the car to a quality mechanic Auto Tech and nothing is wrong with my control arms at all. Not 1 of them needs to be replaced.RUN AWAY FROM THESE GUYSI paid for an over priced air filter and an oil change and had to drive my car without an inspection sticker to a quality mechanic a few days later. I knew the parts were over priced because you can google the cost of parts, but they told me so many things needed fixing that it cause me stress and expenses. I rented a car because I thought the car was going to fall apart.Turns out the only thing I need is a tie rod end. Car passed inspection no problem. Driving away from them lowered my bill from $2000 to $350. I hope they don't get over on anyone else or cause stress!!

Being a fan of Monro, I stopped in for an oil change a couple months ago since it s very close to home. The manager was horrible. Rude to me, as well as rude to another customer in my presence. I left with no oil change. I made the drive to another location. I went back to the East Syracuse location again recently and found Don was there as the new manager! Lucky day for us! I ve seen Don in other locations and have huge respect for his work ethic. He is honest, professional, friendly, and efficient. I ll continue coming to East Syracuse Monro now! Glad to see this location change for the better finally!!

My advice: get a second quote from another shop. I brought in my car to check on an exhaust leak. The muffler pipe rusted through, but the tech said everything under the car must be replaced at a cost of $2100. This included the catalytic converter and its pipe. I took the car to a local small business and they replaced the muffler with no problems for $253. Monro was not offering a fair deal, and I have never replaced a catalytic converter or its pipe on any of my cars without cause.

Been having a wiggle feel in the front. Literally all new suspension in the front calipers tires alignment. You name it was done. Still a wiggle. I bring it to yous. You went over with fine tooth comb an say it s the rims. An made me a video to see it.New rims on an never has it felt so smooth driving like this in a long time. Thanks Christian, I ll be back.

The manager Paul was very rude! I will never come back here again. Went in to get my brakes and a wobble checked out, after they test drove my car, I walked to the bay where my car was and talked directly to the mechanic about what he could tell, which is exactly as predicted. Mid conversation The manager came out and nicely told me exit the bay due to insurance and I immediately did. I did stand outside the bay door and try finish the conversation with the mechanic who was assessing my vehicle. The manager immediately busted in saying I shouldn t be talking to his employee s because I m holding him up. I had just asked how my rotors were and he gave me his suggestions. I walk inside to talk to the manager about pricing for my new brakes and wheel balance, and the manager gave me a completely different suggestion than the mechanic did, after he had just talked to the mechanic. He wanted me to get the full package and spend an extra 350 dollars instead of just replace my rear rotors. He was also very rude to a customer about running an engine scan right after he was rude to me, and that s what caused me to post this. I immediately left and will never recommend this place to anyone. I will say the mechanic s were awesome, joe was an awesome guy, and I feel bad for them having to work for someone who won t let his customer ask a question directly to the mechanic. Awesome workers who reassured me on my problems, but a horrible manager. .

Great, friendly and speedy service. Paul made sure I had a coupon for a better deal on my oil change/tire rotation and was professional and friendly. They had my ROGUE in and out within 1/2 hour! I will keep returning to this location!

I've been going to the East Syracuse store for years and have always gotten great service. The current crew are fantastic. Knowledgeable, professional, and personable.I trust them with my vehicle and recommended them when the opportunity presents itself.

Scott was my mechanic and he found a whole slew of issues with my car. With the help of the gentleman at the front desk, they were able to prioritise what needed to be done immediately and what could wait. They were extremely helpful considering my main complaint was "the car is making a noise". They're professionals who explained everything in detail and never tried to take advantage of my limited knowledge. I go there for every aspect of maintenance that I can!

The workers that are there is experienced. They definitely know what they are doing when it come to your vehicle. They are willing to check anything and everything when it comes to your vehicle. They are helpful. They are kind. They don't mind going the extra mile for your vehicle services. I highly recommend them and i appreciate their services. I love going there. I usually go to the one in Cicero, but there were super busy today, so I went to the one in East Syracuse. Scott was very helpful and took care of me without an appointment. Their prices are always much cheaper than anyone else s even without a coupon.

Yesterday my Toyota van broke down in the middle of the road. I called Scott from Monro muffler, East Syracuse. He mentioned over the phone that he would be able to take care of my car. I towed my car using AAA and was very pleased by his service at the shop. He was very caring, fixed my car. I was very impressed by his and his team's service at this shop. Will recommend...
