Shameless scammers. Took my car to them because it was overheating. They gave me an estimate for $2400 - $2600 worth of repairs. They diagnosed my car for a laundry list of problems including things that had recently been fixed. When I refused service they held onto my car keys until I paid them $150 for labor . My car is running fine, my issue was solved by topping up my antifreeze. I then took my car to TWO separate mechanics in queens who confirmed that the estimate I received was essentially filled with falsehoods and that the car was in good shape. Do not go here under any circumstances. They will lie to you and hold your car hostage. If they think you have money and/or don t know much about cars, they will try to take it from you by making things up. A business like this should not be allowed to continue operating. They are nothing more than common opportunist scammers.

Our Mercedes Gl450 broke down four days before our expected return to the city. East End was quickly able to diagnose the issue, repair the vehicle, and get us on the road again. Turns out is was a combined starter, battery, and electrical issue.I have my favorite mechanic in the city, but I wouldn t hesitate to take it to Edgar at East End Auto. He s honest, fair, and quick. If we lived in East Hampton full time, he would be my go to guy for this vehicle. Thanks again!!

Total low lives. One of my tires were broken so I had to go to their mechanic. Two weeks later I come back to get my car and they changed all my tires and gave me a 200 dollar fee for storage. My total came up to 2000 dollars for just rude slurs and a sketchy mechanic. Zero star rating if that were option.

The worst experience with a mechanic I had since the 8 years I'm here in USA.On Sunday I was visiting the Hampton from NYC with the family and my car broke, it was the only shop opened so I brought the car there. The owner (Edgard) offered me to rent his own car for 150$ a day, I though enough to go back in the city and In a couple of day having back the car.No, on Monday I never heard from them if it wasn't for me calling or texting and the answers were always vague. So I decided to go back on Tuesday morning and pickup the car.His "diagnosis" came out 170$, so $300 for the rental + 170$, (tot $470) later my car was at the same point of Sunday. His appraisal for replacing the radiator, hose, thermostat and the ESP was between 1400/1500$.I decided instead to bring the car to East Hampton Auto Repair (read their reviews), same things to be replaced done in 24 hours at $670.I let you to judge.

I paid $60 for an oil change - Edgar and his team have been looking after my crs (Land Rover, Jeep, Mercedes, Tahoe) for 8 years. Totally legit outfit don't be put off by 1 person who ordered the premium synthetic oil type.

Bunch of crooks. Take your business elsewhere. They will prey on unknowledgeable customers.
