I've had the pleasure of buying a vehicle from Jen Depasquale and working with Jen as well. She's an absolute ray of sunshine. Always helpful, always uplifting and very knowledgeable about the car business. She makes you feel warm and safe when you're sitting across from her. Those numbers can be intimidating but she somehow makes you feel safe like you're wrapped in a warm comfy blanket. I highly recommend that you buy your next car at Shults Resale in Dunkirk and that you ask for Jen D. If there's a car you see...buy it from Jen D!!

They ll sell you vehicles that looks to be in good condition, but will come with lots of mechanical problems! Not to mention everyone I have spoke to who has purchased vehicles from this place has stated that they were always loosing tire pressure, just like my vehicle continued to do until I had replaced my tires with new one s!, My cooling system broke twice in just 3 months of driving my truck off the lot, my alignment was off so they tried to fix my alignment and failed horribly!!! Because they didn t tighten the lug nuts on my tires before I got the truck back, and that resulted in me getting into a car accident that could of cost me and my family to lose our lives!!!BUY FROM THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK And I was a Female buyer so they saw me coming and took advantage! So husbands if your woman goes to purchase a vehicle from this place PLEASE go with them to make sure they re not getting taken advantage of!!!

Don t judge a book by its cover!During my truck search I heard so many negative things about buying at a resale center . Everyone had an opinion on how they were shady and not helpful. My friend called me and told me Shults Resale of Dunkirk had the truck I d been searching well over two months for. I couldn t get there from Buffalo fast enough. I talked to Mark Morello in sales and he immediately sent me pictures and information, including a carfax report. When we showed up he didn t play hardball or behave like a typical salesman. He was just a dude who likes to cook and happens to sell cars as well. That was probably what I liked best, he treated me and my wife like we had been friends for years. He did what most salesmen won t do, he listened to what I wanted and tried every angle possible to get it. Can t say enough good things about Mark. Mike is the owner and I put some ideas in his head on how we could get this deal done. He joined my ideas together to come up with an even better one. We shook hands and I put my deposit down. We ran out of time and had to head to work so we set an appointment for a week out. In that time they got the truck through the shop and had a spare key made up for me.We picked up the truck yesterday, what I thought would take two hours took less than one. Brenton in finance is on the ball and had everything ready to go. Mark was handling insurance and plates while we were signing paperwork. We were in and out, it was amazing! Please get in here to see Mark and the crew. Let them help you like they helped me. You won t regret it!

I needed new running boards for my truck and I went to Shults. They helped me choose the right ones for my vehicle, ordered them and scheduled an appointment to install them in a timely manner. The Service team did an excellent job and I couldn t be happier.Jim and his team always provide 5 star service.

I was in the market for a used 2014 Suburban with less than 20k miles and found one online at Shults. I was a bit reluctant to contact them as they are located more than an hour from my home and I was hoping to purchase a car in the next few days in time to take a trip with my family. I gave it a shot and called Shults - and thank goodness that I did. They provided an estimated price over the phone and then volunteered to bring the Suburban to me at my home to look it over and take a test drive. The next morning, Jim arrived at 9 a.m. and after the test drive, we agreed on a price in my driveway. Jim asked that I consider Shults for financing and encouraged me to complete the credit application online. I had already done some rate shopping and was very pleased when Shults provided me with a rate as low as any advertised rate that I'd seen - including from credit unions. Shults then delivered my new Suburban to my driveway the next morning, in time for our family vacation. Amazing!The most impressive part of the transaction was that our sales person Jim, was completely candid and transparent throughout the entire process. I had expected a bit of a shell game but instead found straight forward, clear communication that made me confident that I was getting a fair deal.I highly recommend Shults and will be contacting them again for our next purchase.

Highly recommend. I went into this place knowing exactly what kind of car I wanted and Jennifer Depasquale made it happen with a very good price! The guys in the service center know exactly what they are doing. Shults Resale Center of Dunkirk never let me down. they have done such a great job.

Amazing buy experience and staff! You couldn t ask for better customer service or pricing, and every vehicle we looked at was immaculate inside and out. I m from 8 hours away, and the next time I need a vehicle, I ll make the trip back here. Best purchase experience I ve ever had, hands down.

So, I took my Subaru to the service department for an inspection, because we have the prepaid maintenance package. They told me it did NOT pass inspection, needed two new tires, inner tire rods, and an alignment (--which it did need, and I knew that going in) to the tune of $575. I didn't trust this because the tires are relatively new--purchased last year--and we'd recently had the car worked on by the mechanic we trust. I had ONLY brought it here for the free inspection.So, I took it to our local, trusted mechanic and said nothing about the alleged inspection failure, because I wanted an unbiased opinion. I just asked for an alignment and an inspection. It passed just fine. When I picked up the car, I told the mechanic that it had failed the inspection a few days ago and showed him the report. He read it and said, "None of this is true. We checked all of this, and there were no broken inner tire rods. Also, your tires are fine." So much for the value of a prepaid maintenance package. Explain to me why the service department recommends almost six hundred bucks of work I DIDN'T need. This is a disreputable business practice. I'm phenomenally disappointed in the lack of integrity from this service department and will never come here again. I'll also let everyone I know not to come here, either.This isn't the first time I've been disenchanted with the work done here. A couple of years ago, my tires were constantly losing air. I was there three times in one week, and they basically told me there was nothing they could do. I asked for an alignment, and they said I didn't need one, that it just felt like I did because my tires were low. Took it to the same trusted, local mechanic, and he replaced the tires, fixed the relatively simple problem (which was just that the rims needed to be scraped and re-sealed) and I never lost air in the tires again. I mean, if you don't want to do the work for people, why advertise as a service department?

As an older woman who knows nothing about cars, I rely on trustworthy, efficient, and patient service. I get all that at Shults and its service manager, Jim Gennock. He is always very helpful and gives great advice. As a bonus, I love the convenient location!

I visited numerous dealers looking for a car. I decided on a Toyota Highlander and there were none to be found with the options I was looking for within 50 miles. Darwin offered to find one for me. It only took a week to locate the vehicle with the specific options I was looking for. Two days later it was on their lot. I stopped and test drove the car. It was fantastic! Exactly as it was described to me. They gave me a price I was very happy with, a fair trade, great finance package and most importantly no pressure. This was a great buying experience.On a side note...A part of the deal was new tires. They had to order them. When I dropped off the car they were out of loaners. The owner of the dealership provided me with his personal car for the day without any questions.

Haven't bought a car here but have made several stops. The staff are always very professional and polite even if I was merely browsing. Only had one issue here. I had the interior of my car detailed, as I expected, it looked great once I saw the finished product. However, my windows were smudged on the inside. I mentioned it and they took care of it on the spot. It was great that they fixed their mistake on the spot but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

Had my car detailed at Shults Resale in Dunkirk. What an absolutely beautiful job they did. My car came out looking like it came off the showroom floor. Very happy and will definitely get my car detailed at Shults again!!

I puchased a vehicle in Oct. after looking over the vehicle I mentioned the tire tread was kind of low. I was told since they passed NYS inspection they were fine. A week or so after I purchased the vehicle I went to a different shop to get air in the tires and was told the tires would not last through the winter. I returned to Shults and relayed this information to the women who assisted in my purchase and she said she would see what could be done and I never heard back. I got quotes from Shults as well as another place for tires I did end up going with the other place due to better tire and price. I feel something more could have been done to assist in our safety.

I have a lot of experience with dealerships, good and bad. I know the usual good and bad things that can happen at dealerships. I recently bought a truck from here, and I'll just say this. It was one of my best buying experiences ever. They didn't screw around with me one bit, which is saying something. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes obviously, but I would highly recommend at least checking this place out if your in the market for a new vehicle and see something on their website you like. If going to the Dunkirk/Fredonia location I would recommend finding Frank

Let me preface this by saying I've had a fantastic experience with Shults up to this point. Loved Jen my salesperson, havent had an issue with service until now...So I go in for an oil change last week (Wednesday), goes fine, and at the end they say that I have a tire with considerably low tread, "nearly bald" and that the alignment is off. I say okay, I don't know how the alignment had gotten so far off given that I had no collisions, and they suggested maybe a pothole. I do live in Western NY and NW PA so sure I accepted it as a likelihood regardless that I didn't remember a significant pothole. So I schedule a realignment the following week (Tuesday), couldn't make that one as I was out of town, so moved it to Thursday (yesterday).My wife took my car in the morning for the realignment and was told it would be done in "half a day," a normal person would consider that 4 hours or half a business day, so likely 1:00-ish. I guess not. They don't call my wife back all day, until she calls at 3:45 and asks if the car is done and they say yes. She goes to pick it up, asks if it's all set and good, they say yes, she asks no other issues, and they say no. Even the paperwork she received reads "No Further Issues." She gets on the highway, gets above 50 mph, and the car begins shaking violently. So, obviously the vehicle is unsafe to drive and she returns to Shults. They take the car for a drive, much longer than it should've taken them to do so, and return to tell my wife that they told me that all my tires were "dangerously low" and "needed replaced immediately."Incorrect. When I left my oil change the week prior, I asked, "Is it okay to drive on for the time being until I get an alignment the next week?" "Oh ya, it'll be fine for weeks yet. But I would look into getting tires a few days after your alignment." I was allowed to leave the lot that day with "no immediate action recommended." My car sat for a week while we were on vacation. I come back for the alignment and suddenly their new statement is "all of the tires are dangerously bald and we told your husband to get new ones ASAP." Wrong. They said I had one tire balding from the misalignment that could be addressed in "a couple weeks". Now suddenly they claim the car is dangerous. So, you let my wife drive away twice, and myself drive away once the week prior, in a car you claimed to be dangerous?I want a refund for my alignment. And on top of that I was told when I bought the car in December, just 7 months ago, that my tires were new and now I'm forced to get new ones. And I won't be getting them from their garage.

experience has taught me to always trust a good dealer. the folks at Shults in Dunkirk are courteous and prompt. My salesman at the time of purchase is Mark Ludes, and has always been good to work with. I recommend him and Shults to all my friends.June 2017, Just got a sweet deal on a Beautiful Chevrolet Cruze, Burgundy in color, and 5,694 original miles. Fritz Boetcher is the best, and has been selling /working with cars for many years.I trust Shults and Mike,Derek, and all the people there are amazingly frendly, helpful and willing to go the mile to make your car buying experience one you will never forget. Here s my story....Scheduled Oil Change and Bronze detailing which is part of the Shults Advantage. Brought vehicle in and detail was not noted as part of service. They added it and said they would call when the vehicle was done. Got the call ~2 hrs later expecting hear that the service was complete only to hear that they hadn t started the detail service yet and that it would be 1 1/2 hrs more. Really? Mistake #1- They told me they could do both but didn t write it down when I made the original appointment. Mistake #2- Included the detail into the service when I dropped it off and didn t check to see that they could or couldn t do it. Mistake #3- Didn t call me until 2 hours later!Enough said. Bad service.

They worked until they found the vehicle I could afford. They installed new tires and worked on all items I requested to be fixed without hesitation.They allowed me to drive a vehicle home before I purchased it to determine if the vehicle was a good fit.

We recently purchased a Kia Sorento. The sales group did not pressure us and made us feel very comfortable. There were a couple minor issues with the vehicle which they took care of prior to getting the vehicle to us. Also, there was one issue that came up about a week after we purchased the vehicle and again they took care of it with no problem. I would highly recommend this group and our salesman, Sam DeJohn.
