I enjoy my shopping days at Big Lots at the D&F Plaza located in Dunkirk and not just for the clearance rack or other bargains I always seem to find. They gave a special kind of employee in this store and I mean that in the best of ways. If you find yourself in need of some assistance, it never takes long to find a worker and yet, I can honestly say that I have never felt pressured by an over zealous employee that found out early on that time tends to go by much faster is you are able to locate any relaxed shopper you see and then either stalk them or ask them (usually more than once depending on how busy the store is at the time) is they need assistance each time the customer enters a different aisle. While this may read as funny, it really isn't and more than once I have left stores for this very reason and never returned no matter what they had on sale or what kind of promos they were pushing. As adults, we are certainly capable of asking the nearest employee for help if it is warranted. Having said this, the quiet, low-pressure atmosphere I have regularly found in Big Lots is exaxtly the reason I will continue to shop there.

In the college town of fredonia and Dunkirk, this is one of the best shopping resources in the small area (high quality, low cost, rarely OVER- crowded) plus college employees get the perk of an associate discount which I'm sure helps, with all things, school and college included

Only one staff member so far had been nice ! Okay environment. Kinda dusty in good isle and grubby . Other then that 3 stars

Easy access to the lot. Spaces are well spaced and visible. The buildings look like they could use some upkeep.

Ollie's was wonderful...I found almost everything I needed to Celebrate Jesus's Birthday...great store,great prices,kind and helpful associates..all around wonderful experience..and I was with my beautiful daughter ... prayers for Damar..

Always, at any time their staff is very helpful and friendly. I always find something for myself for good price. They have products from different countries like red cabbage salad in a jar made in Poland ! I love it .

I was very disappointed with staff assistance today. It seems that their personal conversations were more important than assisting my needs. It should not matter I was dressed like a bum, I didn't smell. I have $$$$$$. As I waited for the conversation to end, they saw me, kept talking and then moved away. I may never go back, I figure I will not be missed, and I doubt they actually care one way or another. Besides. I would rather spend my money at a place that cares about the customers needs and wants and not the clothes s/he wears. Money is money!

I truly love the assortment that Big lots offers, but the only issue I have are some of their prices. They're a little steep, especially on the home interior items.

I was looking in the store, Big Lots for different flavors of K-cups. Honestly I couldn't find them anywhere. Just something different in flavor.Same things in all the stores not just BL.

1st time I have been in in a long time and the whole store has been remodeled and well stocked.. I bought a nice recliner and will be shopping here more often..

The updated store is very nice. Its now more geared towards furniture, but there's still a very good selection of everything at good prices

A bit of a drive from Silver Creek but well worth it. Best tasting pizza. I order the thin crust with half pepperoni and half sausage. Thanks, terrific job.

Love the variety of stores, and miss JC Penny's, have been & will continue to visit this plaza as often as possible! Also miss #ZOO.MTAN this gal needs color

Everytime diet dr. Pepper goes on sale they never have any they have the sugared stuff but not the diet stuff. I know the manager can tell the Pepsi delivery guy to stock up but every time I go in there they don't have any so I immediately walk out and do no other purchases

Blasdell pizza great, Rite aid great, all others ok. Ollies not good. Dirty, unpleasant conversations between associates, not upkept very well. Manager should be ashamed

This little complex has a big lots on one end and Ali's on the other and and in between they have a Chinese restaurant they have 7 or 8 other stores a cleaners anything you pretty much want as just a cute little place the pop in while I'm in the area kill a little time digging a few stores

Has a variety of stores to shop at like-Big Lots-Ollies Bargains-Liqour store (not sure of name)-Cellular Connection (provides Boost Mobile service).-Dollar General (or might be Family Dollar)-Chatauqua Gym (Best gym in the area hands down for all needs)

I remember when this plaza was a place to spend a day at. Now, with the change in store types, it has become a drive through type area. Seems like the good shops leave and the I'm in a tight budget and need poor quality goods for low prices is the way to go at this area.

Good place to get life's necessities. Plenty of parking. Ollies, big lots, dollar general, Dunn Tire, Rite Aid, etc. You can do all your shopping in one place.

Went to ollies had what I was looking for (high stencel strength rope) got 1270 pound breaking point. 100 feet of it for $6.99 great price
