The brothers here do GREAT work! They always looked out for me and repaired my car perfectly without over-charging me for labour. Genuine people & a great shop, I would come back for any repairs. Im impressed.

Me and my fiancee was recommended by a great friend to go here because our heat was not working in our 2015 Chevy Equinox. Two other shops gave us outrageous prices so we choose to go with Jim's Auto which was the best choice. Not only nice and friendly but also reasonable with great work. Awesome experience thanks Zach and the team

Randomly showed up with my 97 Jeep Wrangler that had literally gone underwater for 15 minutes .. After a few repairs at another shop my jeep still wasn t running right. My friend had recommended trying this place and I m glad she did! I dropped my jeep around 10am and they had found the problem and fixed it by 3pm the same day! The NEXT day my jeep had another issue. I literally showed up randomly saying there is something else wrong. No hesitation they told me to leave it here and they will let me know tomorrow. My car was fixed and ready to go the following day. Now my car is running better than before! Can t thank them enough! Very professional and quick. They did not recommend any extra nonsense either. 10/10 will return with my other cars!Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Oil change

On Dec 7th, I suddenly had gas gage issues, so I ran out of gas in Buffalo on way to Roch. I was towed 2 Jims Auto. The guys there saw me quickly...put $15 worth of gas in my tank & only charged me that! Honest..nice group guys! I wld go back 4 servic 4 sure! Thanks Jims!

I ve brought my car here several times over the past few months and the service has always been absolutely amazing. I was referred here by a friend and I will forever continue to refer friends and family here. Every time I bring my car in they are usually able to fit me in that day and keep me updated along the way. The service is always incredibly fast and at a very fair price. A lot cheaper than other places I ve brought my car too, while also doing impeccable work. Zack and his family treat their customers like family and they re always looking to help out as much as they can. I ve had brakes done, inspection, electrical repairs, body work, leaking fluids, oil change, etc. You name it, I ve gotten it done here. They ve never once tried taking advantage or up charging services. This place is scam me I paid for a subframe and welded it and it came apart and they refuse to fix it. I wouldn't suggest anybody do business with them that's just my personal opinion. As well as ultimate Auto they are both affiliated with one another.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. Zach was beyond helpful with diagnosing and fixing my vehicle. They went above and beyond expectations and making sure everything was fixed correctly and then some, very thorough but do not push anything you do not need. They are honest, knowledgeable, fast, professional and friendly. Explained everything and gained my trust quickly. I have never had such a great experience taking my car to a repair shop. I actually left with a smile on my face. My car had a not common issue and they figured it out and repaired it with no problem. The price was amazingly reasonable. I will never go anywhere else and will recommend them to all my friends and family. We purchased a used vehicle from here. STAY AWAY! I don t expect this review to stay posted, as others have disappeared .First it was delayed because they needed to put new brakes and tires in. Fine. Understandable. Then he was going to the DMV & said all the computers were down and he couldn t complete registration. Same excuse the following day. Now we re at the weekend.Come Monday (unbelievably) he said there was an issue with the title it wasn t signed! And apparently the car came from CA. Now he said it would be a couple days for our DMV to receive the proper title from CA DMV.WHAT KIND OF PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS SELLS A CAR WITHOUT A SIGNED TITLE????Wait a couple more days then a couple more. Excuse after excuse.Now we just demand our money back. Naturally you have to wait a few more days even though money transfers literally take moments.The red flags were waving all over the place here, but my other half is much more patient than me .I would ve done it much sooner!Finally got our money back with ZERO compensation from them.As someone in their 60 s, I have NEVER met with such unprofessionalism in my life!! STAY AWAY!

I also had the opportunity to have my registration done . Once upon arrival I was greeted in a very professional manner, I inquired about making an appointment for an inspection. The owner was nice and courteous, he said no worries I ll take good care of you. I had my automobile towed there on my appointment day. Two lights were on. He said you can t pass inspection with the lights on. He then said you should have a warranty on the vehicle don t pay me when you can get it done free.I left my car over night the next day I went back my car was inspected lights off. He recommended and oil change. I took him up on it. I haven t had such good customer service in so long. I felt spoiled. Thanks Jim automotive for such good service Services: Tires, Oil change

I called because my drivers side windshield wasn't working. I had my contractor take a quick look and he thought I needed the whole arm replaced. They said come on in! Was there within 5 min because I had errands to run and it was going to snow. I literally pulled in and the owner came right out. Told me to pop my hood. He got a tool and came back out. All that needed to be done was the blade nut or whatever came loose and wasn't getting triggered. He said have a nice day and to call them back if I ever need anything else. I will most definitely be back there if I ever need work. Honest business right there!

They are super cheap and very friendly. They once put a screw in my heat shield for free. 2nd time purchasing a vehicle from Jim s Automotive, the first time there were a few hiccups but I got a great car for a great value, so when looking to purchase my 2nd vehicle after searching around found a lot of dealers high miles & high prices Jim s prices are very reasonable & affordable. Both my vehicles blue book value were generally $2,000-3,000 more than the price they charged. Very happy with my purchase. They advise me upfront about issue with the trunk not closing properly , honored their word & got me in the following week to fix my trunk. 2nd times the charm. Great Guys & Great service.

The only reason I first went to Jim's Auto was because I lived down the street and could easily drop off a car and walk home. I am not a friend nor related to Zach & Ed but they've been honest and have done great work to my vehicles over the past 7 years so I keep going back to them for everything including routine maintenance like oil changes, brakes, and NYS inspections. They've also done A LOT of work on my vehicles to keep them running over the years because they had 80K & 100K miles on them respectively--so they've fixed/replaced all sorts of parts over the years like a water pump, alternator, tires & rims (with TPM sensors), rotors, etc. They did transmission warranty work on my Van and helped me get reimbursed from Toyota and even helped diagnose an electrical problem the dealer didn't find.I know they sell cars, but I've never bought a car from them (because they've always kept my vehicles working). When I mentioned that I was going to trade-in a car for a brand new one, Zach actually helped me figure out what my trade-in was "really" worth wholesale so I could get top dollar on the trade. Sure enough, the Dealer only offered the Kelly Blue Book value so really Zach helped me get even more money on the trade!Even though I recently moved further away, I still bring my vehicles to Zach & Ed. Rather than waiting at the shop for my vehicle to be serviced, they drove me home which was nice. I'll keep going back to Jim's and I'll keep recommending them to anyone because good & honest mechanics are hard to find.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

Quick to help, honest and caring. While driving through on vacation, an engine light came on in my Subaru. I quickly searched for a nearby automotive shop to take a look. They weren t open much longer, but they didn t think twice about the time and made sure to help me anyway. They took a look and made sure I was ok to go on my way. Thankful they were there and quick to help. Great guys! I would highly recommend this business.

In spite of the negative reviews, my daughter went to Jim's after seeing a vehicle she was interested in on Craigslist. Let's just say that the other reviewers that said the five star ratings were "fluff" to cover up what a disreputable establishment couldn't be more accurate. My daughter negotiated a deal with a salesman and paid cash. Signed a contract and was told it would take a few days to have the Jeep Patriot she purchased ready. Later the same day, the owner calls and says they can't honor the price and that the sales person sold the car too cheap! Rather than fight to hold them to the contract, we took our money back and will never look back. Never have I heard of an owner that would pull this kind of shady breach of contract, especially over $300 in a car deal. Trust me, Jim's Auto's name will get around even more. Reputation makes the business. Don't believe... do more homework than we did. Check out the BBB rating... F-. Left my number for the owner that hid from me while getting the money back, would love a call back Mr Chicken.

I have been coming to Jim's Auto for at least 5+ years it is a family-owned business. These 2 gentleman take very good care of you and they are reasonable. They do not do unnecessary work on your car they will advise you of all your options.And for the person that left a remark State and they don't answer their phone FYI they do all their own work so you know it's done correctly so leave a message will call you back. My opinion this place should be rated 10 Stars.

The guys were quick to respond to any repairs and reasonable in price. I also bought a used car and still running great highly recommend. Just bought second vehicle within 2 year period and btw not related. Great deal looked over the car I wanted to buy found a couple of small things that needed to be fix and they fixed them for me. They are always willing to work with a customer within reason. I was able to do all this within the same day.

My normal go to auto shop could not get my car in in a timely matter so i tried Jims. Best decision ever! They fixed my car immediately and had it ready for me exactly on time for me after work. They even gave me a free oil change. Excellent service and reasonable price

If I could give this place -5 stars I would. I would not believe any of the 5 star reviews on here as they must be friends/family/associates of the owners. It is not logical that all of the reviews are either 5 stars or 1 star with barely anything in between.I purchased an SUV here and it has been nothing but problems ever since. They were supposed to replace the rotors before we picked it up and then never did it, the rear view mirrors are shattered, the check engine light was on and the electrical on the passenger side of the vehicle doesn t work. (Meaning if I can manage to roll the window down, I won t be able to roll it back up and the radio makes crackling noises whether it s on or not). It was also suppose to have new tires on it, which it didn t because they all gradually went flat and needed replacing within a few months of purchasing the car. The car can not drive on the thruway without shuttering and shaking as if the tires might completely pop off. There was no gas cap, which is an automatic fail as far as NYS inspections go, but they do their own inspections . We attempted to contact them within the first 30 days to see if we could get the car fixed, and they were rude and belligerent on the phone and then ignored us and never returned our calls again. I just went to have the car inspected and I would have to put $2,000+ worth of work into it in order for it to pass so the car will be going to the scrap yard this week.The most disturbing part of this whole thing is that I had my 3 year old daughter with me while purchasing this car and not only did they allow a person to drive around in essentially a death trap, they allowed a small child to be a passenger in that vehicle and they showed no remorse.

I had engine problems with my truck and I was shopping around and went to Walzacks on Transit Rd but the pricing for the labor was just a bit to high. I drove to Jim's Auto to have them check it out and the pricing, service and speedy turnover was amazing! My truck feels brand new. They gave me advice on how to treat my car to make it longer lasting which were simple tricks that I never knew about. Definitely recommend them to other customers.

I have been taking all 4 of my vehicles here since a work friend recommended them to me and I would not go anyplace else. This is a family business that takes care of my family at a reasonable price. Honest & hard working!My son just bought a car there and it is great and they really helped us out when we needed it!!!!

Zach is honest, fair and extremely helpful mechanic. He always helps us when needed and goes above and beyond. He is the only mechanic we go too- has thoroughly earned our trust. Highly recommend. It took me a long time to find a mechanic I felt content with and trusted. Zach is our guy now.
