I brought my 65 Impala to Paul's shop for a vintage ac system, Dakota Dash, serpentine belt system, heavy duty radiator, and new rims and tires. In the process we found out my old engine was bad and had it rebuilt with a newer fuel injection system, gas tank, stainless steel headers and a custom exhaust. Was never pressured for anything. Every time the car went into a different phase of operation the mechanics sent me a ton of pictures every step of the way. Some even called me for on the spot decisions. Paul called me and sent pictures all the time. I have about a thousand pictures of the process. I would show up at the shop unannounced and Danny the manager would bring me to my car and update me. I'm extremely satisfied with all the work that was done on my car. Danny even coordinated shipping when I moved. These guys are the real deal and very professional.

So far Paul's Shop has repaired my 67 Mustang after it was hit in the rear end repaired damage from accident and repainted 90% of the car. Installed Fuel injection, replaced Clutch, rebuilt gear box and a bunch of other stuff... His Staff is great, very knowledgeable in just about every aspect of the automotive industry, if he is not he will tell you straight up.This is probably one of the neatest and cleanest shops you will find on Long Island.

Very impressed with Paul, Al and the rest of the staff. Very knowledgable and professional people. Paul explained every step of the process and sent pictures of the work being done as it progressed. Always concerned about safety issues first. Always accessable at the shop or on the phone with any questions. I highly recommend them.

Great place to have your classic car serviced while admiring the other classics. Worth the ride up there and the merchandise in the shop is affordable.

This place is amazing! Everybody that works here are very professional, extremely nice and really know what they are doing. I brought my 37 Chevy here for a lot of work recently. Paul and Dan have been guiding me through this process and absolutely know how to make my car better with many suggestions and tips and no over selling. My mechanic Jeff is an incredible guy who is working on my car. He has amazed me with his work and knowledge about everything that he does and can do! Jeff can fix or fabricate anything that is needed for me! The wonderful front office staff keep me posted on all of the work being done with emails and pictures. I feel like I m being treated like a great friend every time that I stop by to see what is happening. So far so good, great!!

Looks great, stopped by and took a tour the work looks very good. Wateing on an estimate so I can finally get my car done. Started anoying me and wanted me to wait over 6 months and then maybe they would take my car. Then they said they wanted to take the body off, I already had the body off 2 Years ago why pay for what I don't want or need. So I found another place to do what I want. And it will be done before Paul's would even have thought about getting my car in there shop.

I brought my 69 Firebird to Paul's to correct many flaws created by another shop. Paul and Dan worked with me to address all my concerns. They kept me apprised of the work being done with hundreds of pictures sent on a weekly basis. They called me to discuss any concerns or ideas before they proceeded with a new phase of the work. Paul's office staff was always courteous, professional and efficient when I called or emailed to ask questions or pay an invoice. Communication was always excellent and I never felt so comfortable leaving my pride and joy in anyone's hand for so many months. I also never felt rushed or as though I was being a burden when I spoke to Paul, Dan or anyone else at Paul's. Now mind you, I paid a pretty penny for the work done but in this case I got what I paid for. My car has never looked better. Thank you Paul's Rods and Restos.

BEST TOWING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!Nothing is worse than being stuck on Sunrise Highway when your car breaks and won t move.Dan was prompt and efficient with getting my car out of the road and helping me back to Oceanside. He made what could have been a miserable experience enjoyable with his positive demeanor and expertise.I would call this company in a heartbeat for any towing needs and suggest them to everyone.Thank you!!!!!!

This review is long overdue. Pauls Rods and Restos is a great shop, very professional and knowledgable staff. Custom car work is a very specialized skill set. My local mechanic, whom I know well, didn't even want to take my 32 chevy into his shop. Pauls Rods and Restos got it running great. Starts the first time, eveytime. Looking forward to bring my car back for more work.

BEWAREMy car needs more work than before the restoration!!Read no more and just move on the another Resto shop.Paul charged a Ton of money and gave me Unprofessional work. Buffer destroyed the paint job, huge amount of bobbles in paint along both sides of drip rail and bottom of car. Car assembled poorly, Windshields, weather stripping, gaskets, trim, windows were not install properly, Many problems with the engine.Now I'm stuck restoring the car myself but do not have the time, a garage and now no money.Thanks for nothing!!!Actual STAR RATING for my car is a minus -10

Great dealership they show us some great support for us millitary guys. Owner of this place paul is honest and very reliable. I would recconmend this place to anyone in the united states of America. Great environment as well as great people. They even gave me a tour of the place that blew my mind. I love cars and working on cars. I would so volunteer at this place just to learn abou cars.Thank you to everyone at this place for helping me with my 1987 buick regal i would recconmend pauls auto restos. Also special thank you to Al, Heaters, Paul, Peter, Lucia front desk lady.

If you need or want some great custom work this is the place. Every Saturday morning is coffee and bagels and you can tour the work that is getting done.

My uncle took his 81 Bette over there for. Restoring and just recently found out corners were cut and the cost of the job was not. did a very shoddy job

Finally a shop that knows what they are doing, very honest keeps you updated with photos daily, forget about all the tv shows ,this shop is the real deal!!!!!!!!!!!!
