The dealership refused to honor my daughter s tire and wheel warranty that we pay additional to have on her lease. She went in for one tire replacement and they tried to tell her she had to replace all 4 tires, and refused to contact the warranty company to cover any of it. When she pulled her car out of the shop they still charged her just for looking at the car without doing any work. She ended up taking the car to a mom and pop tire shop who contacted the warranty company and had just the ONE tire replaced and covered by the warranty.

Royal Hyundai is super friendly, knowledgeable, explains well and returns calls. The purchase of my new Santa Fe was handled via email and was easy. Their service department is efficient and clean.

While the representative in the Service Department was courteous and attentive, when I walked into the dealership none of the other staff members in their cubicles offered to help me. After wandering around for several minutes in full view of the staff, I finally located the Service counter on my own. They would benefit from some basic customer service training.

I struggled for a little over a year trying to figure out what was wrong with my car. Brought it here and they figured it out in just 3 weeks which to me is short compared to all the time and money I put into my car and got nowhere if your car is throwing you for a loop I highly recommend coming here to have it fixed

The service department is friendly if you can speak with them but overwhelmed and don t seem to know how to deal with vehicle issues nor do they care to learn. I opened a case with corporate regarding my vehicle and there was still a lot of back and forth with no progress. I was constantly asked for more patience and time. Finally all involved decided what my car needed and I picked it up after 56 days. I asked for a list of all tests that were done and never received it. Not even corporate level is able to tell me what was done. Hyundai is a mess

I have just purchased a Hyundai product PALISADE 2024 from this dealer. Staff members and sales representatives are very friendly and helpful . However, I experienced some communication difficulties during the process with sales personnel as they are not frequently available and we are remotely dealing with everything . But they offer a very good price and smooth negotiation. My car was delivered in a timely manner. Sales manager (Matt) is very helpful at the end of the process. Sales consultant Garyn is a wonderful person to deal with. I am highly recommending my friends and family to deal with Royal Hyundai of Oneonta! They are one of the best in New York!

Please make sure you ask for the Car Fax report! The companies that they use do not disclose the actually accidents of the vehicles they sell.They sold me a vehicle that has had airbag deployment and covered it up by sending me false auto reports from everywhere BUT Car Fax (where the airbag deployment is showing)I have requested all documentation pertaining to my vehicle and the sale from Amy. I was declined that right and told to reach out to Hyundai for any further support. The level of customer support is lacking and the faulty vehicle they sold me is a danger.

The team at Royal Oneonta are great - efficient, and reasonably priced but most importantly trustworthy. We split our time between the city and upstate, and we always plan to get our car serviced up here as we know Dustin, Chris, Gavin and team will take the best care of us. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience at Royal Hyundai in Oneonta when purchasing my new car. Andrea was efficient and polite when taking my calls and messages. The salesperson, Scott, was very easy going and made the car purchasing process seamless. I was pleased there was no pressure for me to purchase the vehicle, but I did decide buy it. The finance manager was not in the office, but thankfully, Matt, the sales manager was able to successfully complete the finance process with me so I was able to purchase and take the car home in the same day. Thank you to all the staff at Royal Hyundai that helped me with my recent car purchase!

Our salesperson Cody was very informed about the vehicle we purchased (Hyundai Tucson) No pressure. He kindly gave us a tutorial of the vehicle features. He was patient and kind and made us feel very relaxed and assured us we could call or stop by if we had any questions or issues. It is the second vehicle we purchased from Royal Hyundai and I believe it will not be the last.

We worked with Cody Brewster as our salesman and couldn t be happier. Unlike other dealerships and sales people, Cody was actually enjoyable to work with and was always able to answer our questions or get answers for us. The dealership was great to work with including the sales manager Matt and the finance manager Ed. I would highly recommend Royal for your new or used car needs.

I took my Kona in for a couple of recalls recently. I drove 1.5 hours to the dealership because I saw all of the wonderful reviews it received and decided to take a chance. I was not disappointed. I was told it would be about a 2 hour wait to complete all of the recalls and software updates. In just under 2 hours my car was finished, and I was on my way. This was my first experience with Royal and I certainly intend to return. John, in the service department, was friendly and very helpful. I didn't get a chance to meet Andrea, but over the phone she was kind and courteous. Highly recommend.

Service agent was a sweet young man. The rest of the experience was disappointing. It took a month to get a diagnosis, waited 3 weeks before they could start repair and the repair took 3 days longer than anticipated. I could have dealt with all that if they had done anything "extra" to make up for it - put it in the locked yard, washed it, inspected it, or even detailed the dash - anything at all could have offset some of this debacle. Not entirely their fault since electronics can be tricky, but prior terrible service experience here left me skeptical in the first place. If my insurance would have taken it to a different Hyundai dealership, I would not darken their door. But the young man on the desk was wonderful.

For the most part my service experience was fine. However .there was a paint failure on my roof (see pic below) and the service person did a great job of documenting the issue and scheduling an appointment whereby the issue would be corrected and covered under warranty. When I dropped the vehicle I left a sticky note pointing to a barely visible dent nearby where the paint failure had occurred with the note saying if you could fix this at the same time it would be awesome . A couple of hours later I received a call indicating that the extra work would be $200. Hesitantly I said yes. That day I was talking to a friend of mine who has been in the auto body repair business for over 20 years with a local reputable body shop. He was very surprised that a) it wasn t covered for free considering the inconvenience to me caused by the product not hold up as advertised (ie. the paint failure and the reason I was there in the first place) or b) at most a $50 charge. In hindsight, I should have said no. Keep my story in mind if your vehicle needs auto body repair at this facility.

I had a great experience at Royal Hyundai of Oneonta. I found the vehicle I wanted and Todd Ross worked with us and put me in my New Hyundai Santa Fe. He Was right on top of things at all times, very professional and friendly. I will definitely do all my business with Royal Hyundai in the future. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I recently moved upstate from long island. I had previously leased a Hyundai from another dealer on Long Island and I needed a new one. My previous experience was awful. It was long and the dealer was pushy. I was dreading the experience again. Boy was I pleasantly surprised when I walked into Royal Hyundai. Garyn immediately helped me. He was friendly and super knowledgeable of the vehicles. I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted. He even came in on his day off when I was ready to pick up the car. It was the most pleasant car experience I ve had and I ve been leasing for the last 15 years. I will definitely be going back to Royal Hyundai.

We were so dissapointed !!!! From the time we purchased the Vehicle(sales person was so friendly) to 3 years later when we had to get some computer lights checked, just terrible. We had to wait a week to get it in. Then when we arrived we brought the key to them . Then 15 min later the car was in the shop. Then we sat for Two hours, just to wait to see what the dignostic test said. They never took off the tire to check that the code they received was accurate. We have a special tool for the one lug nut. they never took it out. So two hours and 144.00 plus dollars later which the man said also included hour labor. Interesting and hour labor but we sat there for two??? And we were not the only ones that sat there that day for two hours. the other person was getting a vehicle inspected.(he left right before us, it passed) I just find it terrible customer serivce that once you buy the vehicle, the friendliness goes away. No one spoke to us, no one offered us anything. it was heres your bill, do you want to order the part and have us fix it. So very Dissappointed

Professional, friendly, and accommodating! Best experience I ve ever had at a dealership. The salesman Garyn was very helpful every step of the way and Ed was able to call me and handle some financing over the phone since I was traveling a few hours. Steve the owner even contacted me himself to thank me for my business. I recommend!
