These guys rock! I just moved into the neighborhood. I called them asking for an appointment, told them what I thought the issue was. They told me to bring the car over. They called me an hour or so later, discussed the issue and asked me to confirm to order the parts. By the end of the day, they had finished the work. Such a pleasure doing business with Hartsdale Automative. I love to support local businesses.Services: Tire rotations, Brakes, Oil change

Called to ask the price for a synthetic oil change. Was told the total should be around $120, which was in line with the price I typically got from other shops. It turned out to be around $300!!!

Humbled by my experience Tom and team do GREAT WORK. And they TRULY CARE about their customers customers they ve had for the long haul as well as new ones. My experience: I had a dead battery and needed a quick jump. Not only did Tom help me out imminently, he brought a new battery and installed it quick, and it was quick and painless.Very happy.

I got a synthetic oil change, NY state inspection, and tire rotation done. It ended up being close to $350. They charged around $15 per quart for synthetic oil, $75 in labor, and the filter. Overall I felt the prices were to high for the services.

I recently inherited a car that hadn't been driven for maybe 2 years. We tried charging the battery but the charge didn't hold -- it needed more time which I didn't have. I was able to get the car around the corner to this service station. I told Tom I didn't need it right away -- could he check it out and inspect it for me. I didn't know him -- I live in upper Westchester- I hadn't even seen the car before that day because I had inherited it, so I put my complete trust in Tom and left the car. He could have really taken advantage of the situation, but he didn't. I thought I'd need a new battery-- even asked him to replace it, but he said no, that it was fine. He checked it out, inspected it, and I picked it up yesterday. I really wish he'd move his shop up to my area! He's so honest and explains everything clearly-- I highly recommend him! This is the best gas station in the area. Everyone is nice and the staff is very professional. Any work or service done on my car are excellent and they don't charge an arm and a leg. I was in a car accident a few years ago and was told that my car is a total loss and could not be repaired. I took the car to Hartsdale Automotive and they repaired the car at a decent price and the work was top quality.

I have been coming to Tommy for my auto repair and maintenance work for over 20 years now. He is always fair. Quick and thorough. He and his crew are old school. Needed an oil change and my tires rotated so I stopped by after getting off Metro North last Saturday and asked if I could go get my car now and they said yes and they took care of it and had my car back early afternoon. I asked if everything was okay and if anything else was needed and the gentleman said if we found anything we always put recommendations on the service receipt. I was very happy and the convenience for me is great since I live in Hartsdale and work in Manhattan and they are right at the train station in Hartsdale.

You'll get first-rate, honest service from Tom and Chris at Hartsdale Automotive. Years ago, Tom got the Check Engine light fixed my 1998 Honda Accord when two Honda dealers couldn't figure out what was wrong. I've been going to him ever since, and that '98 Accord is still on the road. In addition to his technical expertise, Tom is an honest guy in an industry not known for honesty. If your car doesn't need a repair, he won't do it. Most recently, Tom was able to diagnose and fix (at zero cost to me) an intermittent electrical problem that was causing my car to stall out. He replaced the distributor under warranty. They also do excellent wheel alignments. He recently did an alignment on my 2004 Honda Odyssey and the van has never tracked better. Bottom line for me is that when I have a tough, complicated job, or routine maintenance on one of my vehicles, I take it to Hartsdale Automotive. Highly recommended. Charles, Scarsdale, New York.

Tom services both of our vehicles and always takes the time to do a proper diagnosis before fixing an issue. On the first hot day last week I brought my ten year old car in because it was blowing hot air from the A/C. I assumed it needed a recharge since it was never done before. Tom tested the system and found the refrigerant level was fine , but a 40 dollar relay had burned out. I got the car back in under four hours for less than I had expected to pay. This is typical of the level of service they always provide.

Outstanding service at Hartsdale Automotive! We are so fortunate to have a reliable and efficient automobile service center within walking distance of our neighborhood. The staff at Hartsdale Automotive is friendly and easy going their work is excellent and they deliver on time (or early). Highly recommend!

I was very impressed when my car had a tire leak and I brought my car into Hartsdale Auto. They were very busy but had my tire repaired and my car ready for pick-up in a little over an hour. I was thinking I wouldn't hear from them for 3 to 5 hours but they jumped on it and made this guy very happy . them out.

I went to Hartsdale Automotive Service today to have my front headlight repaired to avoid getting a ticket (I had been pulled over and received a warning about it the night before). Thomas, the mechanic, repaired it and filled out the Statement of Correction form within minutes. I will certainly be going back if I need more extensive repairs done. Great service and convenient location.

Hartsdale Automotive has made my life so much easier! I have an older car and wasn't holding out much hope that it would make it much longer, but I'm far more optimistic since I started taking it to Hartsdale Automotive for regular check ups. It is extremely convenient (right across from the train station), and my cars is always ready upon my return (you can pick up anytime before 11:00 p.m.). The staff is polite and honest. I highly recommend it!

Loved this garage. Very helpful and will direct you appropriately with your vehicle. What made me feel most comfortable was that they suggested I go out and purchase a particular part myself, and bring it in to have them install it so I could avoid the markup. I would continue to bring my vehicle there if I still worked in the area in a heart beat.

This is a model neighborhood service station that in decades has never tried to sell me an unnecessary repair, not so much as an air freshener, and is always prompt and efficient. We have never taken any of our three cars anywhere else for work, and they currently have 350k miles between them so we have had plenty of opportunities to consider where to get them fixed!

We got hit on Thanksgiving and came here to make sure our car was ok to drive home (visiting from VA). They took care of it super quickly and didnt even charge us. Great service and friendly staff. Had to wait to do my inspection but I live close by so it was easy to walk home. They don t have a waiting room so be prepared to wait somewhere else

I can't imagine my life without Tom from Hsrtsdale Automobile Services in Hartsdale. He kept my 17 yr. old Lexus running like a top and now will do the same for my new Camry. It gives peace of mind when you know where to go for help!

I've been dealing with Hartsdale Mobil for many years and have been very happy with the quality of their service and their willingness to accommodate me with various time schedules. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.
