My gf and I shopped in Ithaca and Syracuse and ended up buying our car from Royal. The staff was friendly and our overall experience was mostly painless.

Came in for a tire swap, oil change, tail light issue, and tailgate recall. The service writer Brian made me feel comfortable and then, like a miracle, was able to communicate with me effectively, understand my concerns for the vehicle and identify that to the technicians, and even reverse time to get all my requests accomplished!; a day before the scheduled intake!! I was also elated to hear that the tail light issue was taken care of. Many thanks to the Cortland Royal Crew, and God bless America! Jesus is King!

Required the drivers side mirror to be replaced--I ordered the mirror from the parts department and it came in one day! Had an appointment already set up with Dave of the service department and it was done quickly and it works and looks great!

I had my car serviced in Oct I feel that I was paid attention to when I spoke I ask about tires ,yes we can get them I ask for them to be ordered. I was informed of a gasket that needed to be ordered; I would be called, When part ordered it wasn't said who it was for so when it came in it just sat there ! When I called about tires in Nov I was told I hadn't ordered any tires.....Took half an hour to get that straight! I got my oil changed, the gasket in, tires on, happy with that . Very unhappy with all the unnecessary nonsense in between. The young lady was extremely helpful in straightening out the situation.

Royal lost my business, say they have lot rentals in case of emergencies then I call on more than 1 occassion just for them to dog me. After I hit the deer last yr they cleaned my car after fixing it but decided to leave a cheese stick in the side door thinking they're "funny". Sorry i was working full time, just started a job 20+miles further than previous, wasn't expecting to hit a deer, and didnt get a chance to clean my car that week. On top of thinking i could rely on my dealership to help me just to be talked down to when asking if they had rentals. Young folk deserve better treatment on the phone and not to be looked at or talked down to as if they're in the wrong environment. Yall screwed me over not staying on top of my claim for the year and sure it can be said it was my fault but everyone's situation is different and I was treated disrespectfully.My mistake for relying on someone's judgement for dealerships b/c they wanted 100$ off the next payment.

I had a mysterious coolant leak - it took a day to diagnose and then a couple days to order the part. Dani was very transparent about the prices, prompt with the phone calls and updates. Overall a good experience and a successful repair. I would go back there again.

I just picked up my Chevy Blazer last week and am extremely satisfied!Mike Flacco and Colby Reagan went absolutely above and beyond throughout the process of finding and securing this vehicle for me to taking care of calling my insurance company and having everything ready to go the day the vehicle was delivered. I would HIGHLY recommend Royal Auto Group and Mike Flacco for any of your car needs!

Being a person who works in the industry of Customer Care, I am observant of how other organizations and industries perform. While waiting for my car to be repaired (which I feel was very overpriced) I heard the conversations of the staff speaking of customers and other staff members. I just wonder what kind of conversations were had about me?Rich, the parts manager is very condescending. When I spoke to my wife of my experience with Rich, she said that she experienced the same thing with him.I reached out to Chevrolet/GM headquarters about my exhaust issue (the part was discontinued after 7 years. Really?) no one had a viable solution to repairing or replacing the exhaust until I was about to leave Royal after a battery replacement. Then it was brought out that I could order after-market parts to have put on the vehicle.I made it quite clear to Brian at Royal as well as Megan at GM headquarters that I will no longer be a Chevy/GM owner. I will trade in my vehicle for a Toyota or Honda. Not just because of the poor quality of the new Chevy vehicles, but the poor customer service that I received and observed at Royal.This is not your grandfather's Chevrolet ... unfortunately.

I received a lot of communication. It was a nice change over past experiences there when I wouldn't even get called back. I believe his name was Brian. Very nice very accommodating.Well, jump to a week later. Same problem no answers. Would not accept my extended warranty. Obviously could not figure out how to read code history on a vehicle.A friend of mine warned me not to go there.I should have listened to them.

This dealership does whatever it takes to get your repairs done in a timely and professional manner! They take the extra step to insure your satisfaction! I take all my service needs to Royal Chevrolet and damn glad to be a loyal customer. If you re looking for quality then this should be your dealership!!

Test drive Pacifica looked it over good had no damage to the paint. Came in a few days later signed all the pappers and went to take it home looked it over again the whole drivers side had been keyed. They said they would take care of it and wanted us to bring it back. They bugged it and refused to fix. The manager said it was there the whole time and they knew about it but diddnt mention it to us. But it wasnt there and the car salesman said it wasn t there either. the manager said we could return it. That was the only option other then bugging which diddnt work. We sold our other vechicle so we kept it and are going to get it fixed out of our pocket and take the loss. I would not recommend shopping here. Classic used car dealership tactics with shady management.

I scheduled an appointment to have my oil changed at 11:30 am. I dropped off my vechical at around 11:15. I was told that the technicians went to lunch from 12 - 1 pm. The service manager informed me that my truck would be ready at 3 pm. When I arrived at 2:55 pm I was told that they did not have a chance to work on my vehicle. At that time I needed my vehicle so I left the service center without the work being completed.

Transmission still shifts hard occasionally even though they can't find anything wrong with it. Very disappointed in this vehicle that's been in the your shop 4 times in 6.5 months. Had to drive it for two weeks with transmission slamming in every gear because they didn't have a loaner for me after spending $47,000. NOT HAPPY AT ALL! VERY DISAPPOINTED and I've leased and bought from this place two prior times. My Jason A. experience was horrible. Showing me fresh trade-ins that hadn't even been cleaned up. Trying to put me in somethingI didn't want. After having enough of this vehicle, I wanted out of it. He never returned my calls/texts. Jason is to busy to sit with one customer and hear what they want. He finally text me back, no phone call and said it's in Joe Reagan's hands now and I haven't heard from him at all. Royal has been a horrible experience this time around. We won't be going back. I do NOT recommend royal!

Royal had my vehicle for almost a month to replace the torque converter under power train warranty. They loaned me a vehicle, which was great but it didn t replace my truck. Then told it was done and the first time I turn the key the check engine light is on. Told it was diesel emissions unrelated to warranty work and would cost over $400. Very coincidental and service people said it never happened until I came to pick up the truck. Not overly impressed with GM or royal.

We just moved to the Cortland NY area driving our 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV from Southwest Florida. No range anxiety with proper charging planning along the way, we had an uneventful journey in our brand new Chevrolet fully electric vehicle. NY requires a front license plate be mounted on the car, which brought us to Royal Motor Company in Cortland. The part was ordered and came in the next day. Scheduling the install was a breeze, and the on site staff were conscientious in explaining the process and estimate for the labor. I was in and out in less than an hour, and all is good! I can now register my vehicle in NY and stop paying Florida's high automobile insurance rates!

Justin Porupski was the absolute best! He worked day and night to find the vehicle I was looking for. Even when I may have been a bit fussy he search hi and low to find it. I cannot thank him enough. I would definitely go back and talk to him next time.

Danielle was very nice and kept me up to date on the status of my vehicle. I was there for a long time but I know changing brakes and rotors take some time. Plus, I had my standard service of fluids/filters changed. I feel better knowing that I'm ready for winter.

First off I was advised they wouldn't take my extended warranty. Then that decision was changed. Told me it wouldnt pass inspection cause needed a plug, however no check engine light on. Next they advised my wife the brakes were fine. Next day said front failed. Asked for oil change along with multi point inspection and vehicle inspection. Was charged for same , picked vehicle up get halfway home tire sensor goes off. Pulled of the tire noticed that grease points were not greases, brake fluid low, and where they said checked # 8 cylinder plug wired n general area still covered with dust.. pictures taken .called back about what I found...advised to jus bring it back in. So now I have to once again trust that the service will be done correctly...wasting my time fuel and wear n tear on my vehicle. No refund no discount just bring it back. I will not be bringing any vehicles there again.

Terrible business. None of their salesman know a thing about vehicles unless it's Apple car play or back up cameras. Last time I went there, they conveniently lost the car I wanted to buy and shoved a dented hunk of junk down my throat. Now, less than a year later my car is full of problems. Not to mention the car was dirty when I bought it, none of the fluids were topped off and as I mentioned before, riddled with dents. Go to echo park, Royal is just plain thievery in the guise of a auto dealership, which at this point, thievery is unfortunately synonymous with auto dealers.

I have always had a fabulous experience with Dave in the service department, and this time was no different. I was 950 miles over my 36,000 warranty, and the starter went on my vehicle. Onstar towing assistance worked great, and Dave called me by 8:15am the next day to find out what was going on. He had it fixed and ready for me by early afternoon, and allowed it to go through the customer loyalty program since I was just out of warranty. He communicated very well throughout the day, it was quick, easy, and painless. Thank you!

The service department was up front about parts needed and cost prior to my ordering the parts and booking the appointment. They also got me right in and finished up the car in the time estimated. I really appreciated the service that I received.
