Ron's took care of me from a tow, to a free loaner, a beautiful body and mechanical repair from a deer collision. They were communicative, professional and friendly. I was glad I decided to go with Ron's, thank you! If you are looking, understand that parts aren't always easy to source and they are even bad sometimes. They just want to do their best and make your experience positive - Thanks Ron's! Edit - called up to ask a question, have a little follow up work done after a few weeks. Ron was very helpful with my questions and took a look at an exhaust issue with a free quote! Again, positive experiences.

After unfortunately hitting something on the highway, I needed my car towed back from Binghamton to Syracuse. Josh towed my car and gave me a ride back to Syracuse. He was extremely professional, timely, and kind during my time of misfortune. Very impressed with the services provided!

Called and spoke with Brandy 3 days prior to picking up a vehicle for towing for a garage appointment. Called spoke to Brandy again the day of pick up to confirm towing. Rest assured they would be at my residence that afternoon. 430pm called again since vehicle still here. Told by Brandy and Mary my vehicle would be picked up bright n early this morning for 8am appointment 1 hour away, guy shows up at 739am. Thank you Craig at CNY Towing and Recovery for picking up my vehicle! You're a solid dude!!

Ron s Auto Body is by far the most professional car mechanic I have ever been to. Everything from their clean, organized office to the sweetest staff members, to the goody bag they handed me when I picked up my car - this is my go to spot. Ron had to replace my bumper and a side panel. Did an EXCELLENT job. I asked him to remove a coffee stain on my cream colored seats, when I picked up my car not only was the stain 100 % gone the car smelled amazing and it looked like he vacuumed the interior. Talk about going above and beyond - Ron and his entire staff are impressive, great at what they do, genuinely great people! I would not trust anyone else with my car. They made this a highly pleasant experience.

Awful experience. I hit a deer in January, and after telling the police I had AAA, they decided to be "helpful" by calling this nightmare of a company. They do not participate in AAA, but even more shocking was that they decided to hold my car hostage for FIVE DAYS, charging a storage fee for every day until they took finally got around to taking it to the shop I requested in the first place. I hit the deer on a Friday, and they said they couldn't do anything until Monday. Then, they claimed, "Oh, we're too busy to get to it" and didn't take my car to my chosen mechanic until Wednesday. And what did they charge??? TWELVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!! That's right, $1,200 for a tow. This company is unethical, and I cannot believe they haven't been shut down. My boyfriend used to get his oil changes through there, but no more after this. Plus, he figured out that they lie about using synthetic oil when they just use regular (his oil did not last as long as it should have, and besides, who could honestly offer a full synthetic for only $29.99???). DO NOT TRUST RON'S BODY & PAINT!!!! They are greedy and unethical.

AMAZING. Would give them ten stars if I could. I got into an accident on November 4th, and because of the part shortages my car was with them until about a week and a half ago (mid-January). In that time they kept me regularly updated on what was going on and got me into a courtesy car as soon as one was available.When the manufacturer pushed out the delivery date of the one remaining part they needed yet again, the owner went online and hunted down the piece from a third-party seller. GREAT people, friendly, thorough, and a beautifully done job.

Good place, busy day for their AAA guy so it understandably took longer for them to get to me. The guy jump started my battery with no issue, and overall was super nice and helpful. Would recommend!Service: BatteryService: Battery

I had an unforeseen minor emergency while in town for a baseball tournament. Ron s was less than a mile from where I bottomed out in a parking lot, damaging my driveshaft. I called them, brought the vehicle in, they contacted me, it was fixed (very reasonable price) all in less than 90 minutes. Great service; great people. And I m so thankful they were right there at the right time.

Buying new tires quite frankly sucks but the entire experience from calling and talking to Susie. Getting a quote. Then having the tires ordered delivered and put on my car the next morning and the entire process all happened within 24 hours is absolutely amazing to me. Ron's came highly recommended to me by a co worker and I would like to pass that recommendation on. Great experience!!

Had someone come out to my house last night to do a warranty replacement on my car battery on behalf of AAA. I made sure to let it be known this would be a warranty battery replacement, NOT a jump start, as this is the 3rd time in 4 weeks I've had to have my car jumped. So the guy comes out, tests the battery. He says they battery tests low and that it's probably drawing a charge from somewhere. I said, No the battery needs to be replaced under warranty. I show the paperwork reflecting that the battery has a 3-year warranty, the battery is just over 1-year old. He says that my best bet is to take it to a shop to have them find out where the battery is drawing the charge from. Long story short, he jumped my car & took off. Y'all get a 2 for showing up and jumping my car, but that's it. Next time, just change the battery like I politely requested.Service: Battery

6 going into 7 weeks waiting for them to repair my vehicle after a deer related incident. Not sure what s going on with them anymore, they used to be the go-to place but not anymore. I m not sure I ll continue business with them in the future.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

The tow truck driver, Tim, was terrific. However, when we contacted Rachel regarding our AAA account, she tried to charge us an additional $26 for a 10 mile tow. AAA covers 5 miles, and we were towed only 3 miles. When I challenged the added fee, she did remove the charge.

We had to have some repairs done to car after a deer collision. The shop was wonderful to work with, the owner himself did the estimate. The repairs were done efficiently and the car returned to us looking great. There was a minor issue with a power mirror that wasn't working after the repairs and the shop took care of it quickly. We even got a thank you card from the owners. I would highly recommend them.

I wish I could give them zero stars this company is a joke I rented a car through enterprise here in Cortland had the car for less than 24 hours the car stopped completely in the middle of the road green bush and Clinton ave so rons towing company came and towed the vehicle my sister gave me a ride to enterprise to pick up a different vehicle there was no damages on the vehicle it just wouldn t move. Rons towing company decides to ruin the car the front end was damaged and the side underneath they said that they pulled me out of a ditch which if you re from Cortland there s no ditch on Clinton ave and greenbush very busy street. they don t want to take Accountability for what they did to the vehicle so now I have to pay for the damages that I did not do to this rental car so please if you can go somewhere else please don t bother with these people they re a bunch of liars

Went in for a simple check. When they finally started talking to me, they said I had an oil leak and that they had to add 2 quarts of oil. I had no prior oil problems until leaving the shop. They "added" the 2 quarts of oil without asking me and both my dipstick and gauge show no added oil. They didn't give me the answer that I wanted, instead they charged me $50 and sent me out with another problem

Made an appointment for their advertised $19.95 oil change and told them i would come in on my lunch break. Came in at my scheduled time and dropped my car off. I came back an hour later and they told me it would be another hour as they didnt have the correct filter. I have a honda crv so its not like a specialty car and they knew what type of car i had from when i made my appointment a week earlier. When i complained they did get my car done after another 15 mins but then tried to charge me $26 for the oil change. When i questioned the price they told me the $19.95 price was for 5 quarts or less of oil and mine used 5.5 quarts so they charged me for the additional quart of oil. I have changed my oil at home and know it takes 4 quarts and confirmed this with a quick google search. When i questioned this they did take the extra charge off but id never trust them to do any other repairs on my car because i can't trust that they would ever tell me the truth about the repairs or charge me correctly. I wont be going back

Everything went well. Quick and easy and the $20 synthetic oil change is real. Unless your vehicle takes 6 quarts of oil. Then the 6-quart cost an additional like seven or eight dollars. But overall good experience.

I had our family van repaired at Ron's in 2020, our insurance company stated they were a preferred repair facility. By early 2021 the paint was blistering and starting to peel/fail. I had them look at the results of their paintwork at the beginning of 2021 and was told it was due to the supplier of the parts. I had asked that they make it right. They were to contact me to make the arrangements for this corrective repair, 6 months later I have heard nothing. I would not take any vehicle of value to this repair facility.Service: Body & Trim

Josh towed my car yesterday. He was courteous, professional, and proactive. My car had to be towed to the dealership in Syracuse and he took a picture of my car so I knew where to find it. Great service! Great job! Thanks Josh!
