Very friendly and helpful staff! Great location while waiting for my service to be complete. Squeezed me into their schedule the day of calling for an appointment. Could not recommend them more.

I have only had 2 oil changes there but it went great. I had a check engine light on and they didn't try to upset me unnecessarily. I could get in easy for an appointment and it didn't take long.

The lie, they lie, they lie. Both locations in Cortland tried to scam me on 2 separate occasions. 1. Tried to charge me over $1,000 for $300 worth of parts and 2 hours worth of labor also claiming a myriad of things were broken when I knew they weren't because I replaced them myself. 2. Tried to convince me to let them disassemble my transmission because of a front end vibration that I knew was a bent rim ($100 fix btw). 3. Broke my lug nuts rotating my tires and charged me for replacements eventhough they cross threaded them to begin with. The only one worth trusting is Tim but I haven't been back in years to find out if he still works there. Nice try trying to take advantage of someone who grew up in a car savvy family that taught me well. Maybe weed out the liars and I won't tell everyone I know to avoid you. The misogyny is strong with this place.Edit: I forgot to mention the time they left me waiting in the waiting room for over four hours. I checked in a few times to see how long it would take (just an NYS Inspection) but the guy at the counter was rude and acted like I was harassing him so I just went back to the waiting room and let 2 more hours pass until I went to check again. The crew that came in at shift change couldn't find my car keys and no one told them I was waiting. It took them 20 minutes to find my keys after I waited 4 hours in the waiting room. I did get a discount but it wasn't really worth 4 hours of my time.

They missed a fully worn out brake pad when I brought my car in to investigate a noise from one of the wheels. I had to delay a trip to get new brake pads two days later, after a tire center technician spotted the issue. I do appreciate that Mr. Tire didn t charge me anything when they looked at my car, but that travel delay was expensive.

This place will absolutely ROB you blind. They like to charge for services that they dont/cant complete. Super rude and out to make money. Typical chain. Ill be supporting local from now on. Someone else charged me 20 dollars for something this place wanted to charge me 110 dollars for!! Be smart, check around.

6 pm, Friday June 8, 2018... Southbound I-81in Syracuse, pot hole popped my camper tire as I was driving to destination many states South. Luckily I could milk it on a spare to Cortland. We called in advance to see if they had the size tire we needed andmiraculously they did.Very friendly and very responsive and very in tuned with our travel needs before they closed at 7pm.Highly recommend this store as they are very professional and polite. A quality hard to find these days.

Came in last minute for brake service and Tim was friendly and set me up quickly great job. My vehicle was unsafe to drive, and I fell greatly appreciated what the team has done.

Traveling over a holiday weekend with my son to spend time with family, my tire went flat and discovered a screw in the tread. Kirk and his team were not only open on Labor Day but took in my car right away, fixed the flat in a jiffy, then offered to do my car inspection due at the end of the month, too, saving me another trip. Very nice, clean, fair, fast, and very reasonable prices. As a woman of color (who s from this area), I felt safe, respected and heard, too. Thanks so much, Kirk, and your team for coming to my rescue!

My son and I had to return home to PA from a baseball tournament today when I noticed my tire pressure was low. I went to Mr. Tire because it was right across from my hotel. I got there right before it opened. When it did open, there was no one else there. I explained my situation and asked if they could quickly look at my tire and hopefully repair it. They told me they were too busy and could maybe get to it around 3. I again explained that I need to get home which was 4 hours away and that it shouldn t take very long to fix the tire. They were very rude and again said maybe they could do it at 3. The best thing they did was recommend that I go to Mavis Discount Tire right down the road. I did go there and they were fantastic. Despite the fact they had customers waiting, he took me right in and had my tire fixed in 15 minutes. On top of that he didn t even charge me. Skip Mr. Tire and go to Mavis 2 blocks down the road!!!

I was utilizing this shop for service a couple years ago and stopped because on two occasions they identified costly things and each time they turned out to be minor things identified at the dealership.My fleet vehicle preference is this chain so I just scheduled an appointment with them for an oil change and tire rotation. The fleet just has you hand them a paper to call the number, perform the service and they pay. The guy at the counter was rude and refused to call the number and said it wasn t his job to, but for corporate to figure out. End of discussion with zero desire to work with me to figure it out on their end.

What great customer service!!!! We got a flat tire coming home from a family trip that already included flight delays and cancellations. Kirk, the manager, got us right in, patched our tire and got us on our way back home quickly. Could not have been a better ending to such a crazy day. It has been a long time since I have experienced customer service such as this. Highly recommend!

This place was fantastic! My mother was stranded 5 hours from home visiting my son at college when she had car troubles. We called and spoke to Kirk who said bring it over we will diagnose it and see what needs to be done. She brought the car to them and was told it would be done by 12 the next day. Well they actually got it done the same day. I can t tell you how polite and understanding they were and jumped right on getting her car fixed. It saved me a 10 hour round trip to tow her car home especially on the weekend! Thank you Kirk and Steve for your fast work!

I pulled in to their shop on a Saturday morning, no appointment. They dismounted and mounted some used tires I brought out to cortland for my sons car. I called around on Friday, with no luck to get an appointment at any other shop. One of their competitors gave me Mr. Tires number. I called, was told no appointment needed. When I arrived at this shop they were busy. Yet somehow squeezed my tires in to get changed. Awesome price awesome service

Do not go here!!!! If I could give it 0 stars I would. They were extremely rude. My car was in the shop for a few days before they even looked at it. They totally skipped my appointment. They wanted to charge me $5,000 for $700 worth of work. They are uneducated and very rude. Definitely go somewhere else. They might do a good job replacing tires but anything that requires any knowledge what so ever. I would definitely pass!

Mr. Tire on Clinton Ave in Cortland offers excellent service in a timely manner. The manager, Kirk, is very knowledgeable. I have a great experience at store #1329 every time I have an issue with my car. Appointments are easy to make, usually same day or with in 24 hours. Prices are reasonable and the quality of their work is superb. If you want it fixed quickly and correctly the first time for reasonable price, stop by Mr. Tire at 149 Clinton Ave in Cortland , NY and ask for Kirk.

This place was BEYOND incredible. My friend and I went in with two broken door latches about 20 minutes before they were about to closed. They fixed the first door completely and was able to tie the back door completely closed so my friend could get home (who lives over an half an hour away) until the latch could actually get replaced. The service was amazing. The staff was so nice and wonderful to chat with! I would so go back with anymore issues and recommend everyone else should too. They treated us just like family which was incredible and made the awful experience with the car trouble so much better!

I had a bad shake/vibration with my car. Called & was able to get in to have it looked at the same day, 30mins later none the less. I ended up not just needing a balance, but needing a new tire. Luckily there were some in stock & I was able to drive home safely with 2 new tires. Thank you very much! Your service was excellent. I'll be stopping back again.

Thank you Kurt & the entire team at Mr. Tire!!!!!! The engine in my car blew yesterday & thankfully Kurt was there to save the day. Kurt and his team quickly assessed the situation and gave me great advice & information as to how to proceed. Kurt was a calming force & shared valuable insights and suggestions. He was straightforward, honest, and sincere. He went above & beyond to help me and I am profoundly grateful. Every business should be proud to have an employee like Kurt on their team. Mr. Tire has a customer for life. Thanks Kurt & team!

I had an excellent experience with this shop. Got in same day on a Saturday for some major work. Super convenient because I work during the week! The manager was also super friendly and clearly very knowledgeable ( I wish I knew his name)! If it s between this place and Mavis down the street, go with them!!! Thanks for the great work guys!

Called to see about getting a tire patched, was quoted it would take an hour or two. We get there and are quoted 15 minutes. They were super friendly and got our car back on the road fast and easy.

The person who first worked on my vehicle was very helpful. Unfortunately that person is no longer there and now this place thinks it's okay to not tell a customer when they have an oil leak after charging $90 for an oil change. They also decided to tell me that the car manufacturer was lying to me about the oil leak. The car manufacturer also called out that the oil filter hadn't been changed and this is the only place ive had my oil changed at while living in this area for the past year. If you want quality work done, I do not recommend this Mr Tire one bit.

My daughter and I were traveling back to Georgia and hit a pothole on I-81 South. It damaged our drivers side rim. The staff was very professional and were able to get us back on the road again. They got the dent out of the rim and put a new tire on my daughters vehicle and got us back home safely. Thank you!

This Mr. Tire location is great! My husband and I have two older vehicles that are constantly in need of maintenance and the Mr. Tire guys never fail to take care of us. They will always take me in the shop and show me exactly what's wrong and exactly what part has broken and what it's supposed to look like so I know I'm not paying for something I don't need. Service is super quick (even on busy days), especially if you make an appointment. I won't take my truck anywhere else in town.

Best place to take your car. Our car broke down and we were stranded. The man behind the counter made calls and helped me find the part we needed. Then Royale Subaru got me the part in 3 hours. I sat for 5 hours but they helped let me know something was wrong with my car. I trust them all the way. My car rides so much better after having the driveshaft replaced. If you need anything I would come here.

Great customer service. I ve had several repairs where they could have easily sold me an expensive, brand new part or tire and told me I needed it but they were honest and safely repaired it for a fraction of the cost. As a customer, this kind of trustworthiness and honesty keeps me coming back. I ll never go to another mechanic! I highly recommend this shop!

Came in right before close because 2 of my doors wouldn't shut. My friend was holding them both shut on the drive there. I live 40 mins away so I was desperate. They were super nice and fixed one but the other one needed a bit more work so they tied it shut good for me so that I could get home. All free of charge. The guys were all really nice and down to earth and just wanted to make sure I could get home safe. They're really life savers I highly recommend this place!

Stopped in while visiting from out of town, my car making a sudden and terrible noise. I stopped in to Mr. Tire and they said they could definitely look but it'd be an hour wait, which was no problem for me on such short notice. They took no contact info from me. When I called back to give them my phone number and contact info, they said that my car was absolutely undriveable and that I needed a new transmission. I had it towed to Royal down the street, who called me this morning and said that the noise was gone and it was likely a pebble stuck between my brake pad and rotor. I live over an hour away and had to inconvenience a friend on a Sunday night because all of the rental shops in cortland were closed. Now I will have to drive all the way back to cortland to pick up my vehicle that I now know I never needed to leave behind in the first place. Worst experience ever, thanks for a huge waste of time Mr. Lame.
