Trusting place to go. Staff was great and got me fixed and back on the road. Manager was helpful and gave us options, to fix what we needed now to be safe. He also recommended things to get done to prepare for winter. Definitely coming back here. Place you can trust to fix it right and very honest people.

WONT GO AGAIN, Brought my car to be inspected and was denied due too ball joints which aren t bad at all, quoted me 1,000$ to fix an unneeded issue and costed me 30$ on the inspection that wasn t valid Brought the car to another shop in town and was passed immediately. Really felt like they were trying to get money out of me big mistake I won t make again.

Very nice. I was a walk in. They had my oil changed and topped off all my fluids, even checked the air in my tires. Polite , friendly and accommodating. I'll see you in 3000 miles. Thanks guys

Amazing, my go to service when I can't do it myself. The girl who always runs the register, can't remember her name sorry! But she does tattoo's, she's always super nice and a joy!

The Sunday I packed up my family in my 2000 Chevy Silverado to drive to Kentucky (my Chevy traverse blew a power steering hose the day before and couldn't be fixed before we left), I was driving my family and truck loaded with luggage and the brake line blew out. At the same time, a radiator hose clamp busted and the truck hemorrhaged coolant. Was I about to cancel vacation and go back home? NEVER! Monroe Muffler was open that Sunday morning and we got right in. Daisy Bleck, the manager at the time, was so kind to my family and made sure everything possible was done to help us. With myself, my wife, and my 4 and 2 year old boys sitting in the lobby eating fruit snacks and praying that the truck could be fixed, Daisy made the calls, got the parts delivered in record time, the mechanics did a great job fixing my old boy and got us back on the road with no more than a 2 hour delay. They were an absolute godsend and an answer to prayer for us.Oh, and in case you were wondering, we made it to and from Kentucky with no issues!

There are two reasons I went there. The first was the sign outside. Big letters... the price was under$40. I thought, that's not bad. Second, I was hoping they had walk- ins. I was pleasantly surprised they could get my oil change done as a walk-in. The only unpleasant surprise was the price. No where near the$40 the sign mentioned. I know I should've stopped to see if there was any fine print on the sign stating price subject to change. The receptionist was very nice and understanding. I did appreciate her help and quick service.

Dropped off for a 915 appointment at 8am. Called at 12 and.JUST GETTING IT IN. Little girl has a ego trip and a loud mouth. Been going there for years - never again

I highly recommend Monro of Cortland. John the Manager always provides us exceptional customer service! The mechanic Tyler who worked on my vehicle did an amazing job! They care about the customers safety and always want to provide you the best service. As long as I live in Cortland I will never go to another mechanic!

Had my wife's van towed in with a bolt in her tire. Even though it's snow tire season and they were already booked for the next few days, they still managed to get us in and 2 new tires and back on the road the same day

I moved to Cortland two years ago in September, I previously lived in Ithaca and always took my car to triphammer.I can say without a doubt I (and you) are in good hands with the Cortland Monro team!John has always talked me through potential issues and explained in detail what s being done. Always open and honest on cost as well as tries to find ways to save you or will advise something that s not always needed. All the crew is always so accommodating and happy to help out anyway they can.I am happy to have such a reliable and caring crew looking after me and my vehicle.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I love coming down here for small things. John is always helpful and accomodating. He teaches me new things about my vehicle everytime I'm in and treats me like the competent vehicle owner that I strive to be. He even went out of his way to give me a ride once when I needed to be somewhere before my vehicle was ready. They don't pressure me to have a service done, but instead provide me with the facts and even show me the damage to make an informed decision on my own time.

So far, I've only been there for tires, but my experiences have been good both times. I'll update as I can.Ok, an update: 3/15/2024: I had to go in with a brake problem. With tax time approaching and little money for said brakes. John at Monroe was able to work with me and get my work done within my feeble budget, much to my surprise!

Very polite/friendly. Nobody in town would do an alignment on my Bmw or even try. Monro did an amazing job. My car goes down the road nice and straight. They were very honest and told me they weren't sure if they could do it but they will try. And they did get it done. Won't be going to anyone else in town from now on.

I have been going to this specific Monroe muffler for over 5 years. We have always been treated with kindness and respect. Our vehicles have always been taken care of quickly and John the manager has always gone out of his way to try and save us as much money as he can.Unfortunately, this past weekend we had a pretty awful experience with one of the young women who works there now. I had called well in advance on the prior Wednesday to make and appointment to have our snow tires changed out to our all season. She asked on the phone if we would be waiting for the car to which I replied yes, it s our only vehicle so we have to wait. My husband and I brought our van in on Sunday at the appointment time (10:00 am) and again she asked if we were going to drop off or wait. My husband again reminded her that we would be waiting, but since we had our two small children with us, we would be walking around outside and to call us when it was finished.We waited 2 1/2 hours before we decided to call and check in to see how much longer it would be. She stated that even though we had an appointment, they had other things going on and wouldn t be able to get to the van for awhile . My husband reminded her for the 3rd time that we had stated we were waiting and not dropping off. He asked if they could get it in and done in the next 30 minutes to which she replied of course not! We have other things going on! In an exasperated tone. My husband told her fine, we would come get it and take it elsewhere.We walked back to the shop and my husband with my 5 year old daughter in tow, walked in to the waiting area where the young lady immediately started speaking to him in a loud voice, raising her hands and telling him that she was only human and that he was coming at her . He was not of course because he was with our daughter. The young woman asked for my husband to sign a release form but my husband refused because of the way she was acting. She said she would sign it herself and then loudly told him to never come back. And you know what? We won t.It s pretty unfortunate because we have spent THOUSNANDS of dollars at this location to have multiple cars worked on. I have even recommended John and his team to my family members and friends.I hope that young lady isn t put in charge again or figures out how to better handle the customer service side of things.

Daisy and Austin did a great when I stopped in to have my winter tires mounted. Daisy was super friendly, helpful, and answered any questions I had. Austin did a great job mounting my winter tires, without scuffing my rims, and took the time to torque down the lug nuts after taking the car out for a check spin. Great job you two! Kudos to John for running and hring great folks!

They are amazing people that easily deserve every single star. If I was able to rate higher I would. 10/5 if it was possible.Daisy the lady I spoke with was extremely kind and helpful. To anyone who reads this do yourself a favor a go to Monro's please.

Had a great experience here yesterday and I would highly recommend! I have not always had the best experiences with other Monro locations in the past, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at the Cortland location. I was able to get an appointment the next day to get my car checked for a noise I was hearing. I appreciate that John took the time to hear the noise I was hearing to ensure he took care of the specific issue. The repairs needed were explained to me well, and I was given great customer service overall!

As I mentioned to the shop manager this afternoon, I've been very pleased with the service, communication, and honesty that I have noticed with all employees; especially the shop manager at this Monro shop. I've been taking my vehicles to this shop for a out a couple of years now, from what started out as a one time service to now any time my vehicles need work done. I go here. I've listened to the communication with service to other customers as well, and have been pleased. I want to say thank you once again, and keep doing what you all are doing.

If I could give more stars I would! I had a brake issue that was pretty significant and I called at 5ish and they told to me to bring it in right away and that they would fix it and stay later if needed. They fixed it within 40 minutes and we awesome!!
