They came recommended to me and my granddaughter by Epiq Auto. Granddaughters car had all the lights on her dash lit up. We dropped it off, they found the problem and called us. Needed a cellunoid. Had to order the part and would be done the next day. Picking her car up, the son showed us the bad one and how it was defective and explained it so even I could understand! Father and son were friendly and didn't feel that they took advantage of a young lady and an old lady.

We broke down in Cortland while traveling from Binghamton, and we stopped at the auto repair shop. He gave Mike the use of his tools, his penetrant oil and didn't charge us! A very nice guy. Thank you!

My daughter is a student who lives on campus at SUNY Cortland and her electronic steering assist sensor shorted out and she was unable to drive her 2008 Ford Escape. I called Main Street Auto and spoke to Gary and made an appointment. He sent over someone to the campus lot to drive the vehicle to the shop as my daughter could not drive without the power steering. Mind you this was during a 3 day snowstorm there. He checked with Ford for a recall and also found it needed to be repaired by the dealership in order to program the sensor/computer. He called me and gave me all the information, the service number for the Ford dealership in the area and then dropped the vehicle off there for me. He did not bill me for this help.Wow, I can t say how reassuring it was to work with him and so much appreciate his assistance and information. All my daughter had to do was drop the keys off. Everyone that I delt with on the phone was honest and professional. Being 3 hours away, all I could do was hope for the best and trust his other good reviews that Main Street Auto had. Well, it was great to see such a considerate business right by the college that I would certainly trust to do the right thing. Thank you Gary and staff.Service: Steering & suspension repair

My car is getting older and starting to have issues. I needed a garage and I found this place. I Can't tell you how amazed I am at the service and kindness I experienced! This place stands out above any Garage I have used. Honest genuine service!

As the father of Cortland student I am 265 miles away from my Daughter. When she recently experienced troubles with her Toyota RAV4 while at college i got very anxious that I was not able to get under the hood myself and possibly rectify the problem. Finding Main Street auto repair was a breathe of fresh air. Gary and his staff diagnosed the problem and repaired it efficiently and most importantly Honestly I highly recommend this auto repair facility. Thank You Gary and Staff! First time customers. My son is a student at SUNY Cortland. We sent his car in to Gary at Main Street Auto because the battery was not holding a charge. Gary was a pleasure to deal with over the phone, he was extremely accommodating to my son s class schedule, and he diagnosed and repaired my son s car very quickly. We will definitely be back to Main Street Auto if any other issues arise.

It took me many years to find a mechanic that I could really trust. The guys and Main Street Auto are great. They don't try to nickel and dime you they will treat you honestly and have you ready to go quickly. With other shops I have had to bring a car back two or three times to fix a problem only to have the issue come back later and of course get charged each time. I can't thing of a single issue that was not fixed the first time. I recommend them to everyone.

GREAT GREAT GREAT SERVICE! They always squeeze me in, even with me calling at the last minute. Get my oil change done fast enough to get me on with my day. I m truly grateful for them!

Great place ! Had a problem and they corrected it immediately Most garages make you make an appointment for something that takes a few minutes to fix or they hit you with a super high bill !

Now hear me out , this business is not the fastest auto repair around out here , BUT , if you have the time they re very honest individuals and they get things done right at a reasonable budget , it s safe to say that i will be using Main Street auto repair over any other mechanic in the area , thank you for your hard work and honesty !Services: Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change
