I really can't say enough good things about my experience buying a car from Dovi Motors. Very straightforward, transparent and honest business. I feel very lucky to have had the experience I did buying a car here. They were very helpful, kind, caring and professional. If you're in the market to buy a car, do yourself a favor and call them. Everything was consistent from my first phone call with Jesse to the moment I got the keys. Great service, super helpful and knowledgeable. Look at the walls in the office, awards everywhere from Ford year after year. I bought a 2023 Ford Maverick XL for my painting business Gunden Painting Co. LLC and I love this truck and I'm so glad I bought it from them.

Dovi Motors is now in it's third generation of local family ownership. They are very competitively priced, and provide, excellent sales and service, to Cortland and Tompkins Counties, and the central NY area.Dovi Motors is my number one go to for vehicular sales and service! I highly recommend them!

I for one really dislike taking my wifes car to DOVI to get it worked on. The service center is a joke. Anytime Ive dropped it off early before they open they can never get it done by 3PM. You sit on the other side of the showroom unable see the reception area, wondering if you've been forgotten about.Recently her Bronco needed a warrenty repair. They totally messed up the scheduling but made due with a new rental! But that broke down and she was able to get a ride back to town with the tow truck driver... Never heard a peep from the dealer until the part came in. On other occasions they just plain out forgot to do things like her oil change. I also agree with other reviews when I saw that I never really feel welcomed when Im there, I almost feel like Im bothering them.I've read all the other great reviews on this place. Anyone can sell a new car. Thats easy.

TERRIBLE.....DIAGNOSED my car said it needs computer when I decided not to spend $1300 to repair it right now told them to put it back together ill do it later I got there to pick it up it was completely torn apart couldn't find all the pieces or screws now it's worse then before...never again they are a rip off save your money go to a small mechanic shop at least they return your car the way you left it.....was contacted by dealership said call and try making it right...left message no return call...I'm learning more and more about this place I'm very disappointed

Dovi Motors is a great small town dealership. I just purchased my first brand new car from them. We worked with both Luke and Jesse and they were wonderful to me. I like the relaxed attitudes and no high pressure sales tactics. I would definately go back to them. I love my new car!

Excellent service. We recently bought a new vehicle there.Jesse and Luke Dovi made the buying processes stress free. They were honest and helpful every step of the way. I would have given it a higher rating if they had, had a little better follow up initially we might have bought 2 vehicles. But unfortunately the other one we were looking at sold before we had the chance to.

I spent almost $1500 here and the only thing I am 100% sure they did was the manifold studs. They sent the car back out the door after fixing the codes with the same codes it was dropped off with. Also this is my coolant after they did a coolant system flush. I Would give 0 stars if possible

I'm required to give at least 1 star - but honestly they don't even deserve that. The staff are rude and behave as if you are causing disruption to their day by simply needing or wanting to do business with them.We needed a key made for our daughters car, as it only came with one key at the time of purchase. In order to have a local reputable company install a remote starter for her, a second key was required. The reputable company we are working with suggested Dovi for the key since they are the only local Ford dealership.Poor communication at the time of ordering and paying for the key, they never mentioned that the price did not include programming it as well. When our daughter took her car in to have the key programmed she was told what the charge would be for the work, confused she mentioned that she thought it was already paid for when the key was ordered, they guy admitted that they aren't very clear with their communication in this regard, but "he was willing to work with her" --- what does that even mean? He was willing to work with her, and then charged her the $45.90 as if she had done something wrong. Paying for a service is not a problem, but poor communication and then being treated as if she was the one that did something wrong, certainly is.Then the same guy came in barking at her about her battery and if she was having issues with it, which she was not. She told them she would have our regular mechanic look at it, they went ahead and tested her battery anyways.Now we are home with the car, only to find that the new key will neither lock nor unlock her car. Husband will be calling to talk to them about that. Overall - zero stars. I wasn't impressed with Dovi 20+ years ago when we needed to utilize their service for an inspection, said I'd never go back. Was left with little to no other choice and they have proven my point. If you need to work with a authorized Ford dealership, look for one in Binghamton, or even Ithaca. But steer clear of this place, unless bad service, poor communication and being spoken down to is your thing.

I drove from Buffalo to purchase a 2021 Ford Bronco. Both Jesse and Luke were awesome to work with. The honesty and integrity the showed me was overwhelming in a time when most dealers will do anything to squeeze and extra buck from you. Jesse had everything ready to go when I arrived to take ownership, the whole process took less than 20 minutes. I will be buying from them absinthe in the future, 6 hour drive round trip included.

Just save yourself the time and go to Maguire's.Dropped it off first thing in the morning on my scheduled day, they didn't get to it and it spent the night there.The following day they found a manufacturing defect and wanted to stop the service. I went and picked it up. Was told it would be down for weeks if they continued.The attempted service caused a leak that wasn't there before.Took it to Maguire's and they did the service, along with repairing the warranty issue in less than 4 hours.

So far we have gotten two SUVs and three F-150s through Dovi. Jesse and Luke are excellent to work with. They know their product. They know what the deals are. They are good at keeping us current on the status of our purchases, especially with the challenges that have occurred because of Covid-19. The service department has gone the extra mile more than once for us,. We trust them with the care of our vehicles.

I just leased my dream truck from Dovi Motors. I knew exactly what I wanted and they had it. I compared their advertisement to Simmon Rockwell on lease arrangements and rebate incentives. Guess what? Dovi was more flexible, accommodating and beat the other dealerships. I worked with Tom, Luke and Jesse and they were wonderful to me and each made the lease even better! I also like the relaxed attitudes and no high pressure sales tactics. I would definitely go back to them. I love my new truck!

I went to Dovi Motors with one truck in mind (from previous research) and with very little time spent and absolutely no hassle, Luke helped me with lease pricing (which by the way was the lowest price of all the local dealers). They did not try to sell me a different vehicle to get one off the lot or persuade me to a different/more expensive deal. No hidden fees or tricks. I drove away with the same truck and same deal I was hoping for. The best experience I've ever had buying a vehicle. I have been recommending them to family and friends. I'd be happy to lease my next vehicle from Dovi motors.

Needed assistance with syncing my phone to the system in my F-150 and stopped in quick to see if they could help me out. The salesmen were all busy with customers and the service department was busy as well so the office person said she would put on her boots and jacket and would come out and see if she could help. She came out in the bitter cold and tried to help but with no luck. She went back inside and sent out a sales person that had become free. He worked at it for a moment and determined that the Bluetooth in the truck was hung up somehow and asked us to wait in the waiting room while he took the truck into the service bay. He came out a few minutes later with the service manager and told us that they were going to disconnect the battery to do a hard reset on the system. They explained that if that didn't fix the issue that they would discuss other options. The two gentleman went back into the service area and a few minutes later came out and took the phone with them and told us that things are all looking good. Two minutes later we were summoned out to the parking lot where the truck was sitting, warming up and all synced with the new phone. We asked what we owed them and they simply shook our hands and told us to have a great day and if we should need anything in the future to think of them for service or maybe a new vehicle someday. It's not everyday you can stop in and get someone to help you without making an appointment first. Dovi Motors went out of their way to help out with such a simple request. Everyone we spoke to, from office staff, to sales personnel and the service department met me with a smile and a great attitude. Never once did they make me feel as if my issue was a bother to them or that I wasn't important. I was treated with respect and courtesy and for that I am very grateful and impressed. For this very reason Dovi Ford in Cortland NY has gained my trust respect and my business for a long time to come. Thank you once again for a wonderful experience.

I recently bought my first vehicle from Luke, a F150 pickup. I did some extensive shopping with other Ford dealers, but found my best deal at home here in Cortland. Its hard to express how much, I kove my new truck. Thank you Luke for a great deal, and a wonderful truck!

Dovi Motors is an absolute pressure free place to buy a car. We love our 2017 Escape we just bought from them. They made the whole experience easy and downright enjoyable. You couldn't ask for better people to deal with when buying a car. Knowledgeable, Honest. as well as really nice people. It truly is a family run dealership. I've lost track of exactly how many vehicles we've bought from them over the years, but I would guess probably seven or eight at the very least, and it's always the same - a GREAT experience!

Ordered and received custom built F-350. Jesse was fully knowledgeable about all the options and the vehicle arrived as described and on schedule. Pricing didn t knock my socks off but it was fair. Not much negotiating room for pickups. Got a lowball offer on my F-250 trade got twice as much on Craigslist. They told me I d get more there, so no deceit. Overall fully pleased with the experience.

We picked up a new Escape Hybrid on 7/1/2020. Ordered in for us to get the color we wanted, took awhile with the factory closed down due to Covid-19 pandemic. We are very pleased with the low pressure sale, very fair price, and Ford rebates. Very nice people, I'd recommend Dovi to anyone.

Unfortunately, as a single woman who happens not to know as much as I probably should about the inner workings of my own vehicle; I often feel patronized and taken advantage of in several of the local garages and dealerships, but never at Dovi Motors! The Dovi Motors staff is straightforward, friendly, and honest. I always leave feeling heard and taken care of by family, neighbors, and friends.

I've been very happy with service here. Had to have a motor replaced and later a small repair to power steering. Also get annual inspections at this location. Service has always been extremely fast and prices seem fair. Never feel like I am being "upsold." One of the employees drove with me back to the rental car office so that I wouldn't have to take a cab to come back and get my car. Solid 5 stars.

Service dept sucks. I made an appt 2 weeks in advance and told them exactly what part was needed. I dropped my company van off on Jan 9th. I stopped in a few times to check to see if it was done and always was told a different excuse every time. Jan 26th I was told that the parts will be here today and they'll get it in. Today, Feb 1, I was told that the parts came in yesterday and as soon as a lift opens up that they'll get it in today. It should be done by tomorrow night but, it is a vehicle in New York State. We shall see if I get the run around some more.Update, Just drove by tonight at 6pm. Van still sits in the same spot. I guess a lift didn't open up today.

These guys went the extra mile for me. I had a really hard time getting approved to buy/lease a car because my credit was so young and I needed one ASAP. They kept in touch and got me in a brand new Focus at an affordable cost. I LOVE my car, and the perks that come with the lease. Not only do I now have a reliable vehicle, my young credit will do nothing but build! The best part, the car is SAFE, fun, excellent on gas and sharp-looking!The payments are easy to track, there is an app that lets you schedule payments and tells you exactly when and what is due, and you can pay through the app! I also believe there is a remote start for your car on the app but I need to look into that more...Highly recommend!!

Absolutely horrible service. Dovi has had my 2014 Ford Focus for 12 days now, waiting on a part that at first I was told had shipped, but all of a sudden is now on backorder. Ford informed me that Dovi was arranging a rental car for me from the Cortland Enterprise and I've been told by Dovi that Enterprise doesn't have any cars available and they will call me when they can locate one. Seriously? Its been 2 days. Unacceptable. I've had to call them at least 2x per day and I can't seem to get anywhere. Customer service is non-existent, Tom, the service manager hasn't bothered to call me once. The one time I was able to speak with him, he shoved me off onto someone else. I can say with absolute certainty that I will go to another Ford dealer for any future repairs and service.

Dont bother!!! One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a dealership. Went in to test drive a pre-owned truck. I got one of the lousyiest salesman I have ever seen. I dont think he even gave his name. Sat at his computer the whole time, and he acted like he didnt want to be there. He was short with me and unwilling to work with me. I asked if there were any promotions or deals and he accused me of thinking the trucks were marked up. It was like he decided he wasnt selling me anything to me as soon as I walked through the showroom door. Never left a dealership so fast!
