Tom Box took auto body shop in the late 60's. I first used Tom in 1973 when he repainted my T-bird a completely different color. I've used his shop ever since. His son Brandon grew up learning the trade from the best - 'his dad'. Brandon operates the business now with the same top quality that I've come to know for 38 years. This is the only place I use and unfortunately I've used it about 6 7 times. I've referred friends to Tom's and they've been just as pleased with the work performed. The quality and service has not deteriorated over the years which is strong evidence of committement to customer service. Have been there twice in the past couple of years.Not having much experience with insurance claims, Brandon (owner), walked me through the process, explaining details that might have cost me more out of pocket money than if I weren't informed of how current insurance claims are actually processed.Brandon is very professional, and honest- I would never hesitate to take future work here in the future.Quality of work is top-notch, and I can honestly say that Tom's South Corning Collison will do everything possible to make sure that your experience is nothing but positive.

Other than the time it took to repair the vehicle, the shop was very polite and knowledgeable. They worked with the insurance company and did all the paperwork. The job was done very well.

A vehicle clipped the back of my truck a while back and caused a lot of damage, but the guys at Tom's took great care of my vehicle. They don't talk down to you if you're not savvy with vehicles and they're honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend them for any body work you may need!

NEVER NEVER NEVER work with these people. We brought in an older car with the hopes that prior to the big 60 birthday, it would be repaired. The car was running and we had driven it in. We had asked for the car to be repainted with light body work, and were given an estimate of $6000. I understand it is an ESTIMATE, and interpreted that as $6000 +/-$2000. Prior to this, the car lived inside a garage. Upon arriving at Toms, the car was kept outside...and was kept outside for two years.We checked out the car recently, and were blown away...in a bad sense. The car was in pieces, and "[they] got in over the heads". No actual work was done to put the car in a better condition, but instead there was a heap of scrap metal. The new number...$12000. The car can no longer be driven in its current state, and they were still unable to give us a firm number.TOM--Make this right. Call anytime. 386- four oh five-9639

I came to Tom's to have peel-off tint removed and my back driver s side window fixed. Immediately, I was lied to about the tint. I was told that the inner door panels needed to be removed in order to get the tint off. I thought that would be ok, since the 1 door had to be fixed anyway. Instead, they used isopropyl alcohol and a few other unknown solvents, without removing the door panel. The extra solvents ran inside my doors, where they took 2 weeks to evaporate fully. They charged me $185 for that part. The window was another $150. They found that the metal arms inside the window had broken apart. They talk welded it together. A week after getting the car back, I touched the button for the first time, heard a loud pop, and the window was broken again. I would assume a professional welding spot would know that was going to happen in advance. Upon returning, they wanted another $120 to fix the window again. I believe this garage is a den of thieves. They lied to me and cheated me from start to finish. I will never go back there.

Excellent work. Great to work with. The boss goes out of his way to help coordinate the repair. Super knowledgeable. He'll get it handled for sure.

Brandon is great - fast and efficient. I met him after hitting a deer, and now I use him for all my car maintenance.
