I walked in yesterday to browse their selection of used cars. Today I brought my old truck in to get valued. In the meantime I browsed and picked out a used vehicle I liked. I knew my truck wasn't in very good condition but they were able to pinpoint specific problems which rendered the vehicle unsafe to drive.There were a few items that required attention on the used car, but Jason started the repairs immediately (it was a wheel bearing and a broken spring)They gave me a loaner car to take home until the other one was ready, and when the repairs were finished I was able to pick it up and drive it home. They took care of the tags tax and title in house with no hassle.Its important for me to mention that at no point did I feel any pressure to do anything. It was a very pleasant experience all around, and I would definitely do business with Jason again.

Update: Currently going through a court case with this company. Example of the photos under my truck. I had no idea the truck underneath was so bad there was no floor under me while I was driving. He would rather risk a humans life and make money than be a honest salesman. Scam artist.Well I was sold a lemon.... Nvm paid 6000 for a 80% rusted 2002 truck that broke everytime I hit a bump. Had to take it to the shop over and over. They were accommodating to fix it yet I only drove the truck 5 times . Had to get it towed 179 miles from the Poconos because it stopped working. It's been an issue since I bought it yet I can't have a refund he has to sell it for me? I asked for a reliable truck and that's not at all what I was sold

The owner and crew always do a phenomenal job. This place has kept my car running for years now and are always there when I need them. If I ever have a problem they are always there to fix my car. I have been to quite a few garages and this is the best place in 2 counties minimum. Always do great work and the best part is they re honest good people. Amazing to find it in todays society. Trusting Jason with your information is very risky considering his past. There are much better options in town that take much better care of your automotive needs.

1999 Mercedes ML320 owner. This vehicle is not generally what they work on, not a Land Rover, but they replaced the drive shaft and carrier bearing in the same day. Its was seriously grinding before hand and now at 5000 miles later with 220,000 miles my Mercedes is still going strong!

I purchased an 04 Subaru Legacy from Quest 4x4 in south Corning. Right from the start I appreciated how upfront Jason was when talking about the vehicles past. He was willing to work with me on the price even though the car was in fantastic condition. The staff were wonderful in making the purchase quick and painless. They gave me a nice warranty along with a few free oil changes and detailing.

Went in for a weld ,they took it to be inspected after welding it and there inspection shop sent it back failed ,1 for the weld not being done and for 2 other things.I was only told it failed by Quest for a brokin leaf spring mount ,so i took the truck home fixed it ,took it back for inspection and thats when i found out ,the weld wasnt completed .It failed right away.The shop where quest sent it for inspection gave them the opportunity to finish the weld and they didnt when it was sent back for the bad weld,just bad business.Had the weld finished by another shop,complaint filed with DMV ,BBB.This was my first time going there,so i dont have anything bad to say about there business other then they didnt do what they where paid to do & they could have corrected it twice.Once after the inspector sent it back to them and the day the other shop fixed it and told them it will be on the lift for the next few hours if they wanted to come down and finish it .Will be seeking money back. Had a great experience here. Needed work on a 2012 Sport SC, and they didn't mind at all. Spoke to owner and liked his attitude and what he had to say, then drove down 100 miles all the way from Syracuse, after losing time and money with shops misdiagnosing things here. They got me in fast, knocked out the work correctly, and were extremely reasonable. I'd get any work done here, but especially if you have a Rover.

Had a great experience here with the staff at quest. Everyone was very accommodating. My first experience with a discovery but Jason and his staff eased my mind on bringing it back to basics for me. Everything was done in a timely fashion, even though they were quite busy. The staff explained each portion of the process as it went on. I ve had some silly questions post build, and they re even willing to answer them after business is done. I d recommend them if you plan to drive one of these vehicles.

Best customer service I've ever had as far as my vehicle....Really went the extra mile and I will be recommending to others.Experienced and knowledgeable....knew exactly what to look for to fix my problem.I won't be taking my jeep anywhere else.

I have known Jason and his wife (the owner) for almost 5 years now. I was first his Snap on Tools representative.. seeing him and his staff on a weekly basis.. and now his employee. Does Jason have a record? Yes.. and he isn't shy about it, I knew about it my second week going into his shop because he is upfront and honest about it. Nothing to do with his record has anything to do with his work and his ability to manage his business, so the fact that it keeps getting brought up is completely irrelevant. Stina is a proud member of our US Military and is one of the most respectful and amazing people I have ever met in my life. While Jason has had some not so pleasant employees at times he has handled the situation to the best of his ability and for the benefit of his shop and its livelihood. During my time with Snap On I witnessed the outbursts and instances with certain employees and do not fault Jason or Stina on how these situations were handled, because having these individuals a part of their business was damaging! These people aren't just my bosses but over the years have become family! They both would give the shirt off their backs or the last dollar to their name in order to help someone out. I would definitely recommend Quest and the staff here because we aren't just another shop, when you come see us you become part of that family!I have also had several vehicles worked on here over the years, before even working here. The prices are fair and reasonable and the work is excellent and fast.

Jason and his wife are a class act. Honest, reliable and compassionate about what they do. For new people please ignore the troll with the mental disorder leaving floods of negative jabs that are without merit and completely childish. Youll note every name has but one review because they are fabricated for this purpose. Ive known Jason for several years now and would highly recommend his services to any in need. He goes above and beyond for not only his family and friends but his customers too. This is his business and his business is happy customers for life. You will not find a better place to be truly taken care of.

I had the misfortune of trusting this place with a crucial task, and they utterly let me down. Their lack of integrity is evident in the way they handle their business. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

A family member needed a reliable daily driver with 4wd. I came across a Jeep Liberty posted by Quest OffRoad in fb marketplace. We did our research and made what we thought was a fair offer. (I also came across another vehicle, posted by another used car dealer nearby, worth about the same and made the same offer). Long story short Quest OffRoad was more than straight with us and definitely worth traveling over an hour to Corning (they also have a site in Horseheads). They provide excellent customer service. They responded to my inquiry right away. They were quick to respond to every subsequent message and call. They appreciated us taking the time to make the trip and were extremely accommodating, staying after hours to work with our schedule, and not rushing or pushing the sale at all. The car needed some maintenance work, which they disclosed in detail. In addition to completing those repairs, they did some paint touch-up at no additional cost. The car was pristine, inside and out, including under the hood. The purchase included a 3 day bumper-to-bumper and a 30 day warranty, as well as some future service. I can't say enough how great it was doing business with them, plus they are genuinely down to earth and nice people. Very fast and reliable. Got my new axle seals put on within a day and was ready for pick up the next day. Good pricing and very friendly service. Answer the phones right away and they will work with you for you can get what you need done. Been here multiple times and planning on to keep coming back.

Jason and his team are very helpful I've taken several vehicles to him to diagnose issues they have had and every time him and his team have been able to tell me what the issue was. They are very quick to respond to someone's vehicles needs. I highly recommend quest offroad to just about anyone.

Paid a deposit and paid in full for what I thought was restored Land Rover Discovery , It has Been 8 month's and the truck has been back there 3 separate times and sat for MONTHS as they tried to diagnose and repair by trying to swap out other parts and pieces. Refused to refund or discount any "repairs". They can guarantee 12, 18, or 24 months (keeps changing) but if they can't repair its worthless. Buyer Beware

Had the most terrible experience with this company, their service and their product (Land Rover Rebuilds). In process of filing a law suit and charging back several thousand dollars for a purchase of a Land Rover rebuild that went very bad. Stay AWAY! Lost over 5K so far at least. Everyone I've encountered that has had work done here has not been satisfied. They are over priced with no quality to back. The "owner" is going to say I'm a troll but that's okay. He will try and belittle me like he has his customers that have had problems. Does not take a rocket scientist to understand the truth behind the curtain of a unethical, unexperienced person scamming people who instead of solving problems will create problems. but if you wanna give your money away this is the place for you.

Jason and Christina went above and beyond to help me out in a tight spot. My car broke down with my pregnant girlfriend with me. We were stuck in corning and needed to get home in elmira. The car needed a whole front end replacement which I couldn't afford with a baby on the way. I reached out to Jason and he brought us to his home to figure out arrangements for the car. By the end of the evening he loaned me one of his personal vehicles and made us dinner. Had my car fixed in 2 days and worked with me to pay him back. Not too many people with that kind of generosity these days.

Jason is awesome. Quest provides Excellent service and customer service. Customer Service is something you don t find anymore, but these guys ROCK!! I strongly recommend QUEST for all your automotive needs.

The people that are leaving the one star reviews are clearly people who should spend more time on their education as well as finding another job.... Jason is a very hard working individual and so is his wife. To me, it looks like there are more good comments from ACTUAL customers!

Took my truck to there shop after i did a lift kit install myself but had some small issues after it was installed that wasnt able to figure out myself and taking it to other 2 shops to figure out the problems but they wouldnt or couldnt work on it. Luckly i found out bout quest off road. They were more then glad to help me out with my lift kit and didnt charge me a fortune for the work that was performed. The staff was great in helping with questions that i had with my truck. They even helped with info on my wifes car when i picked up my truck.

I love doing business with them! I've been there more times than I can count and the staff is always quick and attentive! I've never had a bad experience with Quest. I would recommend them to anyone. 10/10 would go again.

Jason is a stand up guy. If I get in over my head on self repairs ( which I do all my own repairs I can on my own) he is always there to help me out. He has even bailed me out of vehicle problems after hours before.

This has to be illegal for these people to try and ruin the lively hood of this family!! Not only is it disgusting but totally immoral. Jason and Christina are some of the hardest working, caring and honest people I know. I would absolutely take any one of my vehicles to them for work. We brought our Jeep here after several other places failing to help us to get it to pass inspection. Everyone went above and beyond and finally got all of the problems solved. We now bring all of our vehicles here for work, including a Kia Sorento and Mitsubishi eclipse - not the typical vehicles that they work on. I won't take my cars anywhere else again, even for an oil change.

Jason and his wife run a top notch business with years of knowledge. Well worth checking this place out for you mechanical and off road needs!!! I will also add that this business gives a lot back to the community as well in monetary donations and other forms of help....just plain awesome hands down!!!!
