3rd time I have been to Valvoline. The crews are always professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They make you aware of any services you need but don't push it. Will keep coming back.

Brought my car here multiple times hoping for a good experience I was wrong. The first time they couldn t even complete and oil change without breaking something. They completed an old change on my car then two days later the check engine light comes on I bring it back and they tell me they did nothing wrong. I was able to identify the issue while trying to get the oil filter off they broke a sensor on my engine. They didn t even offer me compensation for the part that I installed myself. Also another time I bring it in for a state inspection. I advised I went over the car and it was perfect. They came up to me and told me they could not pass it due to the parking brake not locking up the tires meanwhile it was working and stopped they car they just didn t want to do it because they didn t make any money. This place is GARBAGE and I would never return!!!!!

Services 10/10. The oil change definitely lasts 15 minutes but they never tell you how long you will wait for it although they are all very kind. So I would go back to this place without thinking about it.

Stopped in 2/9/24 for an oil change. I had the pleasure of working with ALEN. He was very knowledgeable about my vehicle and even recommended safety tips for me. He was patient and attentive. I appreciate that there was clear instructions throughout my visit. ALEN is a great asset to this company. I will come back for sure!!!

Stopped in to see if I could get a NYS Inspection. Was greeted by Cheryl. She took me right in. She was great. Got it done in no time at all. What a fantastic experience.

Very friendly staff. They are knowledgeable and very helpful. My oil change was completed fast and all other maintenance My car needs, I was informed about and given the options on what I wanted to do with no pressure

Horrible service my car went in for a oil change no oil was added they made me reset my oil light before my oil change was done my car started breaking down because no oil was added and changed me for the service . Never trusted this place

As a first time customer to Valvoline I was expecting an average experience for getting a routine oil change. I was pleasantly surprised to meet and be helped by the wonderful attendants that you had on staff. My attendants today at this location were Julio and Ivan, with Julio helping me topside. I would like to mention that Julio went above and beyond the scope of their duties to provide outstanding customer service. At no point did I feel the pressure or intimidation that you might get at your average mechanic. From start to finish my experience at this location was excellent. Once again Julio and Ivan are THE GUYS, and I would love to see them get recognition for the amazing care and pride that they put into their work.Thank you so much Julio!!!!-One VERY Happy Customer

Absolutely incredible service! Cannot thank the team enough. Everyone is super helpful and kind. I came after my shift at the hospital exhausted working overnight and they were quick, sweet, and helpful and made the process soEasy. Stay away from Copiague they are the worst oil change place I ve ever been he nearly destroyed my new car left an extra gasket on the oil filter oil was leaking slowly and when I realized thank God I had to bring it to Kia spoke to the manager and the corporation trying to rectify what happened and how much it cost me five days without my car a diagnostic test and oil change $300 The manager does not return phone calls very irresponsible it s like a bunch of kids hanging out I would not advise anyone to go there whatsoever

THIS PLACE IS VERRRRRYYYYYY INCONSIDERATE! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE DO NOT GO THERE!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. LET ME TELL YOU ALL ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE FROM HELL WITH VALVOLINE COPIAGUE LOCATION, On October 7, 2023 I went to the Valvoline Copiague Location for an oil change and for them to check my power steering wheel bc it was feeling a lil stiff. The mechanic said he check everything and he saw that my power steering wheel fluids were low and that it was dirty. He said he can flush it out and put new fluids in it. I said okay no problem. He flushed and put new fluid in my car and also the oil change. I left the Valvoline Copiague Location with the steering wheel still felt the same as I came in. I gave it a couple of days but nothing change. I went to Pep Boys and they looked at my car checked to see if theres any possible way for the power steering wheel to still be stiff. They checked the power steering wheel fluid and realized it wasn't the right fluid. I then went to Nissan Dealership and they did a look through on the car and realized it was also too the fluid was wrong. I then called Valvoline Copiague and they forward me to someone to make a claim. They said they were doing an investigation literally less than 24 hrs they said it wasn't their fault and they can't help me. FOR TWO DIFFERENT COMPANIES TO REPORT THE SAME THING. I AM BEYOND LIVID. THIS IS MY CAR I USED TO GET TO WORK AND TAKE MY SON TO SCHOOL. NOW MY CAR IS RUIN. AND VALVOLINE COPIAGUE LOCATION DIDN'T TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY. I WILL BE CONTACTING A LAWYER AND SUEING THEM. LITERALLY THE WORSE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

Horrible all about our. I will not recommend you come here on Monday all they had was two workers and made me wait 1 hour not fair. And I don't think they did the oil change the right way . Top level service and technicians. I've been looking for an oil change facility on Long Island for a while. Finally have my go to spot now. Pricing is fair. Service is great and thorough. Most importantly is that their customers are treated w respect versus simply an upsell opportunity.

Stopped in for a NYS inspection on a Saturday afternoon. Was told the inspector is not in today but will be here tomorrow.((Sunday) I did not call and took his word. Big mistake, went back Sunday - inspector not working again. Need to brief their employees better. Call first before going for an inspection.

I LOST MY CAR BECAUSE OF THEM. They drained my oil and did not put oil back in. I went to corporate, and they denied everything. No photo of them showing me the oil stick, because there was no oil in my car. I had thrusting and chugging and it was just so awful, I was a few hours away from home. It was after hours, I called a mobile mechanic and he told me right away what was going on, he said they didn't put the oil back in!!! He said he's seen it several times. Everyone is brain-dead during the pandemic and it continues on as long as certain substances in the state are legal. There must have been remnants in there from when they drained, so that was one thing I'm glad for, they were inept in draining as well? Or maybe their hose started to put a little oil in. I prayed all the way home, and then the next day it smoking outside of AutoZone. I thought there would be a fire. The AutoZone manager came out and said right away, I have no oil, and then he checked it and that was it, it was that empty. Very lucky I didn't get stuck and there wasn't a fire. I ended up losing the car, replacement car was awesome, but I lost that car in a coastal storm and the car that replaced that has a lot of issues. The worst part of all of it is that I'm a woman and this company gas-lit me and made it look like they didn't do what they did. However, got cameras on my car that shows their machine did not make much noise, no oil coming through those hoses. They didn't even offer to settle with me so I'm just going to sue them.

They went ahead some oil plug with out even asking me!! The guy said it needs to be changed every oil change which I politely told him is not true!!!! I won t be going back there again this is the second time!! You don t go ahead and do things with out asking!!!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

The staff here is amazing and informative. They check all safety aspects of your vehicle in a timely manner and are not pushy about trying to sell products you would normally get pushed on you at other oil change shops. The manager is super friendly and is always getting his hands dirty with his staff. I would not go to any other place. They check and double check their work and then they check it again.

I recommend anyone getting your service done here. The staff was very professional and helpful. Did not try and up sell you just gave recommendations and made me feel very welcome. Not sure why there are negative reviews because this is my new spot to get an oil change. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and it was a great experience. The woman was very nice and the mechanic Andy as well. Great staff great service, great overall.

The workers there are great ! They work fast and are professional and polite. The also give your car the courtesy once over . Lights, all air filters , all other fluids and tires. Great for a person not good with cars.

Expressed my situation and in dire need for an oil change since my week wouldn t allow me to make it. I go to hauppauge from 9-5pm which doesn t give me enough time to for either before or after.

Wasn't too long of a wait for the cars ahead of me, when they actually started my vehicle it was pretty fast with communication all along the way. I'm in the car the whole time seeing them work so it was no question of what part they were up to. They also weren't pushy about trying to upsell, but they were informative at the same time if you do want to take care of something else besides the oil change.

First time here. I've lived in the area for 30 years. Non pressure sales like some other competitors in the neighborhood. I was in and out. My Tech Thomas was so helpful and knowledgeable. I wanted to take him for a drink after my oil change. This is definitely my go to spot from now on ! And I have 3 vehicle's. AAA++Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Excellent service know how to engage customer. Ignore any negativity trust me when I say I do not review lightly. Most oil change facility are boring not interested this oil change was memorable. (Sheryl) was so amazing she really went above & beyond thank you. (Denzel) was so honest and did his job excellent. I appreciate your amazing work Valvoline keep engaging clients thank you kindly. best Oil Change.

The staff both women and men were quick, professional and in an almost military style got the job done. What I also appreciated was that they suggested I may have a pending problem but I could have it serviced there for repair...NOT a fix it now emergency. Very competent and friendly staff.
