Jay is a really great salesman. I had a lot of questions, comments, and requests for my used car purchase. He was calm and friendly the whole time and really worked with me to make sure I was happy with buying my car. He went above and beyond to make sure everything worked out, and I can't recommend him enough.Also shout-out to Angel, Dan, and the rest of the team that stayed late on Saturday to help me finalize everything!

If your kia needs service- I highly recommend this location. My engine light went on, I m not savvy with cars so I called south shore kia and Michelle from the service dept guided me that I can safely get to the dealership and got me in same day. I also needed an oil change and an inspection + 2 mini recalls looked at, so I asked if everything can be looked at once. Ahmed took over and was fabulous. He explained that the recall parts + the small part for the engine light would take time to arrive and provided a loaner car for me. He also called me daily to provide me with updates and realistic expectations for when my car would be ready. Once all the parts were in, my car was done the same day. After a few days back in my vehicle, everything runs awesome and I m really pleased with the service and kindness I received. Thank you for a great experience.

Not good in keeping customer up to date with information, I had to call in the late afternoon to see if me car was ready. It wasn t approved what needed to be done was told the next day. It wasn t. Got a call in the third day it was ready and it was 4:55 and they close at 5, someone did say they would stay till I got there. Never had a bad experience before and have my car for 12 years all my work gets done there.

I was extremely satisfied with the Kia service center. They took my car right in as soon as I got there, and service was completed in 30-40 minutes. Sales associates as well as service associates took interest and they all made sure I was satisfied which I most definitely was. Thank you again South Shore Kia.

Had to return for replacement of a timing spring so my driver side air bag light would go off- the part had to be ordered- part came in quickly, the service dept. Got me in right away and voila! It was done! Great service department ! I ll be back when I need anything

Everyone was very helping and accommodating. I walked in asking for an oil filter and the front desk staff was very knowledgeable and suggested I do the oil change at the dealership. She was so nice I forget her name, but thank you so much for your help!

Complaint DetailsMy car was brought in to South Shore KIA due to the engine burning oil. KIA has a 100,000 powertrain warranty. At the time my car had 88,698 miles and I was told I would get an oil change from South Shore KIA and return after driving 1,000 miles they would then determine if the car was really burning oil. It was determined I was burning oil and they submitted a request to the tech line which would approve the warranty covering a replacement engine. KIA needed my receipts for oil changes to prove I was maintaining the vehicle. I told them I had some but I may need to talk to my mechanic if he had copies. I was instructed by Christhian Parra that we would submit whatever we had because he needed the loaner car back. The tech line wanted to do a partial tear down which I was told I would have to pay about $400 if the claim was not approved. KIA tech line was provided a video of the tear down that was done by South Shore KIA. The technician doing the video can be heard saying the engine is clean no signs of sludge. The video shows a clean engine and I was told the purpose of the video was to prove it was being maintained since I didn't have all my oil change receipts. KIA tech declined the claim due to sludge. KIA is not honoring their warranty. Their own technicians have stated that the engine is clean and maintained. Many professionals including their own employees have maintained that the engine is clean of sludge and well maintained. I also have the video however I am unable to upload it due to the size.IF I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO I WOULD! I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A KIA AGAINUPDATE: THE SERVICE MANAGER POSTED A MESSAGE THAT I SHOULD SEND HIM MY PHONE NUMBER SO WE CAN TALK AND ALTHOUGH I SENT IT IMMEDIATELY HE HAS NOT CALLED. ID LIKE TO APPLAUD HIM FOR PUTTING ON A WONDERFUL SHOW. PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED. THIS LOCATION IS AWFUL!!!

Great service!!! I wish Kia would provide free maintenance for the 1st 3 years like their sister company Hyundai-they offer the same 10 year warranty but wouldn t go the extra mile to give routine maintenance for 3 yrs or south shore Kia should cover it!!!

The management at the South Shore KIA is excellent. And the service department is also such a nice place with friendly and really helpful personnel. Every time I go to the South Shore KIA dealership, I have peace of mind. I recommend this dealership to everyone who is looking to purchase a car with no pressure from any of the personel.

Some of the nicest and most efficient staff you will come across! (With a special thanks to Saboor in sales and Josh in service, both GREAT guys). I ve gotten cars for myself, my girlfriend and her mother all from south shore Kia.I recently had an issue with the engine on my 2022 Kia K5 G-T Line. I work in retail/ sales so I get that these things happen, but even I was blown away at how easy the process was with Kia. Everything was covered under warranty and the guys working on my car were quick and did a great job! Car runs better than ever! They even gave me a loaner car (2023 Sorento), which I won t lie, I had a hard time giving back lol. Truly can t recommend south shore Kia more!

Update to excellent review before:I'm at a Valvoline getting a oil change.I hadn't opened my hood since my service (below).So they opened the hood and found a ratchet (see picture).Now I'm disappointed. It could have fell in the engine compartment and caused untold damage.What else did they forget or forget to do ????Oh well.... I guess I got a good ratchet..Service was very good. The Kia associate "Lu Ann" provided excellent customer service before, during, and after I dropped off my car. The car was cleaned after being serviced and they got every spot, even in the door hinge area.I felt very comfortable and would not hesitate to bring my car back for service.

Our service advisor, Christian, provided SUPERB customer service! Our son moved to NY six months ago and when his car issues surfaced, I called South Shore and explained everything to Christian. He immediately scheduled service and reassured us that the car would be fine. He kept us informed with a status of the repair and the estimated time of completion.His customer service skills provided great relief considering we have no family in NY that could have assisted our son.Thanks South Shore but most of all THANK YOU CHRISTIAN!

My mom brought in her 2014 Kia Soul because she noticed there was what she thought was smoke coming out of the a/c vents. She was afraid it might be something with the engine, but after the service dept checked it out, it was condensation from the ac compressor and the line that lets water condensation out from the hvac system was clogged and they unclogged it. The bill was super reasonable at $86 dollars and they washed the car for her. She is a senior who speaks broken English and I really appreciate they were honest and did the right thing by her, especially since I wasn't able to accompany her to the dealer to help. The service representative was very accommodating and super nice. Couldn't ask for a better outcome. I also had a 2012 Optima years ago, purchased new from the same dealer and serviced it there. The service center always tried their best to cover repairs under warranty whenever possible.

For starters why have a website to schedule appointments asking me what I want who I am, but when I show up they don t know who am don t know what I want. Waited more then 4 hours for 10 o clock appointment I left at 1:30 for an oil change! I sat for about 2 hours before my car was even being taken in another reason why Ill never recommend or come back. 10 o clock appointment only for it to finally be seen around 12, ridiculous. First car purchase in my life and having problems since the 3rd day I drove it off the lot because of this place. Ridiculous services all around. Lastly if my cars going to take OVER 4 HOURS TO DO AN OIL CHANGE. Tell me come get when it s done I ll leave my number and just call me when it s done just outright ridiculous. make me sit there for a 4 hour oil change insane

This dealership is a five star dealer. You are greeted immediately by a valet, then walk to the service writer who listens to your concerns. He asked me if I was going to be leaving the vehicle or waiting. He walked me over to the service lounge where I had, a hot cup of coffee and some snacks that were available. The service took about an hour. I was notified when my car was done if I would like a complementary car wash. Things like this stand out the service writer Christian was very informative about my vehicle service, and I will only be bringing my family s vehicles to this dealership for any of my services.Service: Oil change
