We stayed here on a quick mini trip to Cooperstown NY. Location was great. It was off season so we had our pick of multiple sites. Lots of trees, 2 smaller ponds, and very clean, well-kept property. Appears to be a section in the back that may be seasonal stays. Did not checkout bathhouse or showers so can t rate them. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. We paid $55/night and stayed two nights. Check-in was at 2 pm and check-out is 11 am. We had an excursion planned on our last morning that we needed a 1 pm check-out and the management was very agreeable (especially I think since it was off season and a week day and few campers). We had W/E/S. They have some gorgeous tent sites for those of you who prefer tent camping. Definitely would stay again. Close to activities in Milford, Cooperstown, and brew pubs.

My family and I stayed here in our camper for over a month while I was working in the area. The camp is very quiet, clean and well kept which is exactly what we were hoping for. The owners are very pleasant and take great pride in the cleanliness of their camp along with making visitors feel welcome and comfortable. There s a nice pool across from the office which is kept locked until requested ( safety measure ) The owners are never far away. They are very nice people. If we are in the area again we would stay again. Thank you

I have stayed in a lot of campgrounds in my years of traveling and I m honestly not one to leave reviews but this one deserved it. We recently stayed at Cooperstown Family Campground due to being in the area for work. Unaware that it was the Baseball Hall of Fame Induction weekend, I was expecting a very busy and noisy weekend. It was just the opposite, we are actually very sad to leave. The grounds are very well maintained, beautiful views and have encountered nothing but friendly staff and campers. The owners were very tentative to ensure we had what we needed to make our stay more enjoyable. There is so cell phone service, however Wi-Fi is on the grounds and made it accommodating to those that may need to use their phone on occasion. We will be back if in the area again!

This campground is a gem! Gorgeous property run by a wonderful family. They were gracious enough to let us stay there before they officially opened for the season. They were apologetic because they thought there might be noise from cleaning up foliage after a bad winter storm. Nothing could be further from the truth! They were extremely considerate and made us feel welcome. Our dogs were in Heaven, as we had the place all to ourselves and they could run around like they were puppies again. My only complaint is that I wish our plans would have allowed us to stay longer! We'll definitely be back.

Stayed for a week while our boy played ball. We were very pleased. The grounds were well kept. There was a playground across from our site the other kids enjoyed. The showers had hot water and good water pressure. Bathrooms were a little dark. But they were stocked and kept clean. Hook up for the camper was easy. They even let us borrow a longer power cord. The arcade needs help. But the laundry was very convenient. Loved the one clean pond. The fish are out there. We caught dinner one night, in fact. We're already planning on staying here next year when our next ball player gets his chance at dreampark. Would definitely recommend staying here.

My wife is a travel nurse and we stayed here with our dog for the full season (May-October). We absolutely loved it. Chris, Tamara and their family are outstanding hosts and wonderful people. They were extremely accommodating and made us feel right at home immediately. The property is beautiful and the accommodations often exceeded our needs. just under a 15 min drive to town, even less for groceries. This really is a family friendly park, and it was a welcome change to our standard long term stay parking lot parks that we have run into across the US. If we come back through Cooperstown, this is without a doubt our first choice.

Had a wonderful time with my family camping. The camper we rented was really spacious and clean. The grounds itself was clean as well. The owners were great. The pool was a great! Especially with young kids a must. My children enjoyed the two play areas. But the animals were my children's favorite. The pony ride was a hit.So affordable compared to other facilities in the area. You are so close to the Hall of Fame, Fly Creak and the Farmers Museum. We will be making this a yearly destination.

We love this place. First time visitors but we'll be back. Serene. Wonderful artesian water. Store has lots of necessary items. The owners were very helpful.Nearby activities: This is a five star campground 6 minutes from the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Older but well kept park 8 miles from Downtown Cooperstown. Full hookups, arcade, pool and a well stocked camp store. Great grassy, shades sites, some near ponds. Visited with 2nd generation owners, delightful folks that take pride in their campground. Would absolutely stay again.

Lovely setting, grassy and shady sites, beautiful ponds with beaver, frogs, herons, and fish. Location is certainly convenient to the beautiful town of Cooperstown and we had no bug problems. There are goats here and cows nearby, so you will hear farm sounds. Helpful staff, office open until 8pm. Never used shower or bathrooms, but they looked a little rustic. There is an "island" between the two ponds with some nice, shady tenting sites. The main road here is well marked with signs that give you directions. The turn into Petkewec Rd is quite sharp and may be a little difficult for class A RV's and long trailers. Just cut it wide. We enjoyed our one-night stay and would stay here again.

Excellent place to stay when visiting the Hall of Fame on induction weekend in July. It's quiet, affordable, clean, professionally run, and the general store has everything you need (or forgot). Perfect location only 10 minutes outside of Cooperstown and even closer to the Dreams Park little league complex and Ommegang Brewery. This place is a gem and would recommend to solo travelers, couples, or families as an awesome place to stay. I have found through the years that some campgrounds have unpleasant pools or showers with plenty of unhappy campers, but this place couldn't be more the opposite. It's clean and convenient.....awesome nights under the stars and pleasant mornings next to the water, can't beat it.

The owners, Chris and Tammy, were very helpful and informative. They are second-generation owners and their pride in its care shows! The campground is easy to navigate and quiet. Cable TV is free of charge, as is wifi! They have many regular tenants, so the atmosphere is friendly and safe. I'm sure you'd enjoy a stay here!

In short - a great place run by great people! We love trailer camping and stay in resort campgrounds, quaint campgrounds and off the grid. There are pros and cons to all but we go with it and almost always have a great time. The Cooperstown Family Campground would fall within the Quaint category to me, which is my preference. The facilities are basic but just fine. We stayed in the seasonal part (another preference of mine) and the people were friendly but not bothersome. The campground offers pony rides and hayrides which the kids loved. The best part or worst part about any campground is the owners and these family owners are great. They are around enough to have a presence and discourage bad behavior but are not bothersome. Really nice, friendly and helpful. As an example, we were here to watch our son play baseball all week and were coming and going a lot. We stopped into the camp store to get some Jiffy Pop but they were out. They told us they were getting more later in the day but our son's game ran late and we got back to the campground after the store closed. When we got back to our site there was a pack of Jiffy Pop on our picnic table. No big deal at all but it just shows the quality of the people who run the place. My recommendation? Stay Here.

Very nice, family owned campground! We booked this place specifically to go to the Cooperstown Hall of Fame induction weekend and from beginning to end have been treated with courtesy and friendliness. While my husband was in the cute little general store/ office checking in upon our arrival, I just had to jump out and start taking pictures of the animals, the barn arcade and the store itself. Even with a FULL campground, we had the feeling of total quiet relaxation. With our busy induction weekend agenda, we weren't able to get out and do some of the things we'd typically do when camping, but at this place we could have gone swimming, fishing in their lake, played their arcade games in the big red barn, played baseball or basketball, had a private or huge community campfire....on and on with the amenities. We did get to visit with the owners at length and enjoyed their story on the history of the campground. We highly recommend the Cooperstown Family Campground.

Went there in late July. Second year in a row. The owners went out of their way for us. They didn't bother us. Then again we didn't break the rules. I will say this it's a great camp for downtown cooperstown and dreams park. They have a nice pool and the kids activities are away from the campground which is nice in both respects. I've been to other campgrounds in the area and none are as good as this place. I'm glad they enforce the rules this way it makes it safer for happy campers.

We just stayed at Cooperstown Family Campground and it was such a nice visit. The campground was charming and facilities were clean. The staff and owners were all friendly and welcoming. One more reason to love the Cooperstown area!

Outdated and overpriced. Do not expect a great camping experience as this is directly across from a trailer park. And the rules are as strict as children's summer camp. You will get the sleep you've been wanting but playing music, socializing and exploring better be before 9pm or you will be disturbing other campers. You are very close to all the other sites as well. This was once a great, fun place to camp with your family.

Great camping experience! Love this place. This is my first summer camping here and I have been nothing but PLEASED! The owners are great friendly people, who make your experience great! The hayride is always fun. The grounds and bathrooms are very clean and the showers are hot! Great place to take your family for a weekend or more! I recommend this campground for your camping experience!!!

Love the many activities the campgrounds provide to its campers!! Hayrides and pony rides, dances, a HUGE breakfast spread on Sunday to benefit the Wounded Warriors! Plenty of fishing with kayaks and paddle boats. Public showers and restrooms are always clean and stocked. Friendly and very helpful owners!!

Beautiful campground! Right next to the water. Really nice staff running the place who were very accommodating to letting us check in / set up late on a same-day reservation.

The owners were very helpful and friendly. The campers next to us had a dog and it was running loose all of the time and going to the bathroom all over the place and the owners did not pick up after it.The campground is also over priced for what you get here.

Nice little gem near Cooperstown. Very friendly and helpful owners. Pool, playground, two ponds and a little brook also. Tent sites to full hookups with showers and restrooms and a laundry for extended stay. Nice place.

I wish I could give this business a zero star review. I traveled two hours to visit my brother and parents at this campground and it was a terrible experience. The camp sites are small, only one tent and one car per site. They will not inform you of those rules, but they certainly are passionate about enforcing them. The campground itself has a very "third world" vibe, which I guess explains the owners overwhelming desire to be judge, jury and executioner of this dilapidated forest kingdom. The only redeeming quality of this campground is the fact that it is surrounded by much better establishments (and cheaper). If you are thinking about camping at this mud pit oasis, save yourself time and frustration. Go anywhere else!

Quiet country setting. Lots of activities to do in summer. We visited off-season and while convenience store was closed there was a pager for owners and they opened store. Well kept grounds. 2 lakes for water activities along with pool (in season). Will return when back in area.

Campsites are tiny and the owner came to my site yelling in front of children and family! Not professional at all! Hartwick Highland campsite is where we ended up after leaving the Cooperstown family fun park! Way nicer place better prices and kind and polite owners.
