I chose this Walmart Auto Care Center for my vehicle tire replacement (all 4). I ordered/paid tires and made an appointment online, drove 35 miles all the way from NYC to get there (because Walmart doesn't have any stores in NYC and not even an Auto Care Center in Nassau County which is sad). I was on time so everything went smoothly. It took little more than an hour for the whole process of changing 4 tires. I paid installation fees in the store. This installation also includes lifetime balance and rotation & some sort of roadside hazard warranty.The person who worked on my vehicle was Brian, if I'm not wrong, was nice too.I recommend this place for tire work if you live close by. I will go there again for my tire need but I wish Walmart has Auto Care Centers close to where I live. (I want to go there for an oil change, battery etc but this place is too far away, sadly).PS: I noticed, one of the tires has little lower air than the other 3. If it's leaking for some reason I will post it here. Other than that everything is fine.

I had a horrible experience at this location for my 4 Good Year reliant tires which I purchased. I had no issue with the tire as at all, but the service was totally unacceptable. The one-hour time frame turned to be almost 3 hours and the job was NOT done correctly!The so-called technicians they have NO IDEA what they are doing.My so-called technician was Vincent M. When I left the shop, I went and checked the air on my tires. He had inflated 2 of my tires at 46 PSI instead of 33 PSI. The other tire one was at 42 PSI and the other 38 PSI once again instead of 33 PSI.When I got on the highway and the speed got close to 50 MPH, I realized that they DID NOT BALANACE the tire at all. The steering wheel was shaking like crazy and pulling to one direction.Mr. Vincent the fake so called Techni cation did NOT bother balanced my wheels. So, I get out at the next exit and call the tire center. After 20 minutes of calling finally Christine answers the phone. I her to talk to the manager Mike. I explained to him the situation and I told him I am coming right back, and he told do not, I do not have time to correct the mistake.Mike told me come back the next morning and speak to Carlos, he told me he will leave note for him. I live almost an hour from this location and Mike did NOT care.I went back the next morning. Carlos had NO notes or idea. Finally, after spending another hour, they fixed the issue.Please NOTE that MOST of their so-called technicians do not know how to drive Manual Transmation! I saw one of the fake technicians trying to practice and my car. I went over and told him to get out of my car and he knew exactly why.I will NEVER go back to Walmart because of the experience I had at this location.

Verb bad service.I brought my car in for my tire rotation 3 times. One of them needs an apoint. They said. They said there was no man in the other one, and there was no one working in the third one. They said he can't do it right now. When I said I would talk to the manager, they said wait a minute, let's do it right away, and after doing that, I discovered that there was damage to the fender of my car. Walmart Please needs to intervene in tire services somehow. but no one cares

3 hours to get four tires installedI had a 2pm appointment that I booked a week ahead of time pre paid for the tires and Installation. The little bit of money you may save is not worth 1/2 a day of your time.

Went for an oil change from Westbury bc they had availability and they had a good price. Drove an hour round trip to be told they don t do oil changes for Volkswagens. I didn t see anywhere on their website that they don t do certain cars.

Very bad service this time. I used to change my engine oil here and it was great. Went there again and dropped my car. Waited almost two hours and see no updates about work done. Went to the front desk and there is only one person working, who was handling both in person people and telephone calls. After a long wait, the manager just said they have no tool to do the oil change so left my car in the parking lot. I mean, if they cannot do the job, at least they should tell me immediately via message or phone call rather than let the customer wait for nothing, right? Horrible service and won't go again.Service: Oil change

Worst customer service ever. Called to get my tire fixed and was told it was too late. An hour before closing. Offered to leave the tire and was told no. And to speak with the manager mike in the auto center and was left on hold for 25 minutes just to be hung up on. Will be reaching out to the store manager to make a formal complaint. Possibly the district manager. Clearly customer service is not Walmarts first priority.

Mike is the man, he is a one man pit crew. I hope Walmart appreciates him. He changed both tires in no time flat.

** I had posted an incorrect review a few weeks back, unfortunately, due to my own mistake of confusing two different locations.This Walmart Auto Center has to be one of the best auto service (new tire purchase to ship to store for installation) experience I have ever had. From pulling up to speaking with the older gentleman (God bless his heart!!!) and getting checked in for service, I could tell they meant quality business. He was very welcoming, took care to get all the correct information and had me checked in within minutes.The tire installers were stellar in their timeliness, cleanliness, and perfection when installing the tire which needed to be replaced. The tire pressure was filled to exact recommended levels by the car manufacturer (unlike other places that will just fill it up to 40+psi even though its not recommended).During the tire install, I got to talking with the older gentleman who had checked me in, and it was amazing to just have a nice chat with someone that was uplifting, heart warming and fun all at once during todays times.You guys deserve 7 stars if that were possible! Keep up the great work, and thank you for your service!!!

Commack Walmart service auto center was on point! I got the full synthetic oil change and new windshield wipers installed. Everything done in less than 45 minutes. I called before I went to check the time schedule to see what time they close before going. Someone picked the phone up and gave me information right away on the time of hours for auto service center that they are opened for that day and the price of full synthetic oil change. It was a great price and worth the trip to Commack. When I got there around 1:00 pm I got my car in right away and they took my information. They text me when my service was completed. I was able to go shopping in store during my wait. I am very happy with the service. No complaints. This is a budget friendly option. The service center is located on the back right side of Walmart store. Plenty of parking in that area with carts if you choose to drop car off go shopping then exit store after purchasing items and picking up your car keys. You will have to show you receipt of payment to get your key for car. Prices are affordable. What I really love about this auto center is that they don't use scare tactics to upsell you in purchasing services you don't need. I felt the mechanics where professional and respectful and they answered my questions. I will definitely come back again.

I wish I could give them (-) review. Very unprofessional (Mike service leader). I went for tires change, took them 3 hours and I end up towing my car to Mavis tires to get it done. Stay away from them.

Was hung up as soon as they realized they made an error on their part.I made an appointment through the Walmart website for 7am and I get here on time and it's not even open until 8am. I call and I'm hung up on by 2 different people who pick up. I didn't do this for fun, I have work at 9 and now I'm told I have to wait for the Tire shop to open at 8am.

The guys here are great! I had an appointment at 2pm and I came early and they were still able to take care of me. Bought a set of 4 tire and got them mounted. Service was finished in about 1 hour (probably less but I waited until a little over 1hr). My tire pressure sensor was on for forever and I didn t know why. These gentlemen let me know it was due to one of my tire pressure sensors being broken! Great and friendly service 10/10

Had my 2 front tires put on. The manager was awesome. Both he and his crew had me in/out in 28 minutes! Great job. Thanks again! Just ordered my 4 tires for my Truck. They should be in tomorrow. See you guys soon.Larry S.

I made an appointment and purchased 4 tires that they had in store on the website so that I wouldn't have to wait for them to be shipped BECAUSE I HAVE A PLUG IN ONE OF MY TIRES. I get an email at 315pm when my appointment is at 4pm THAT THEY CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT. Im already in the parking lot because it was so close to my appointment time. I then approach the tire place and the bald guy is beyond rude. He wants to see the email because he doesn't BELIEVE I had an appointment. He also looked at my bank account because he didn't believe I PAID 200 dollars already for the tires! Then they claim they don't have my tires. They miscounted/sold one and only had 3 that's why my appointment was REALLY cancelled last minute. THEN THEY CAN'T REFUND MY MONEY. I call customer service where after 5 days they only refund half!! I have to wait another 15 days for the other half! NO WORK DONE NO REFUND WASTED MY WHOLE DAY HAD TO GO TO PEP BOYS TO GET TIRES. DO NOT PREPAY FOR ANYTHING HERE! The young guy named Chris was the only accommodating and nice one. I won't even shop at Walmart at all anymore because of this. BEWARE.

Took my car on Sunday August 7, 2022, Mike th manager looked at my tires and insisted I had run flat tires and Walmart doesn t have tools for that! I begged him to check tires! He claimed only driver side doesn t have run flat. He changed two tires I bought from Walmart. Got car back n 2 hours! Asked him to replace my wipers I bought in store because as a woman I tried to replace them but couldn t! He did it and left the trash on my car. I took them up and asked him where is garbage. He pointed somewhere and then I asked if he could please throw it out for me! He took it and was standing looking in my face and mumbled SOMETHN then walked off! Told him let me wipe my hands and I d GIV him a tip! I pulled to th shop and gave him a tip! Guy grabbed th money said appreciate and walked off! While driving car noticed a squeaking sound, WASNT loud, bt intermittent! I live 52 exits away BEC no Walmart tire center near/other booked! While driving squeakin got louder! Started calling 10 minutes into my drive, no answer. Called 5 days in a row, no answer from store itself except woman picked up twice wouldn t GIV me her name and put me to everlasting ringing phone, no voicemail! Car kept w/squeaking sound ESPECIALY wen DRIVN slower! Mechanic at BP checked it! Removed tire, looked at it and said, if I touch it ur n trouble! Guy showed me my brake pad is cracked! How did I get Mike to cal me back immediately! Made a complaint to Walmart online customer service! First defense is, they don t do brakes! WEL that doesn t explain how I took my X5 there with no noise, bt left with squeak THT turned out to be cracked brake pad!

I was there yesterday to get my battery changed out, I had called and spoke to someone on the phone to verify they had the right battery and how much it would be. I then went waited 2 hours of them working on my car to then find out they actually didn t have the battery. They then reinstalled my old battery. I bought a battery went back to the store with new battery and concerns that the check engine light speed control light and slip light are flashing they installed new battery and said had to reset. Later that night driving home all the lights came on entire cluster. Went to Subaru today they told be the computer brain is fried from wires improperly attached when doing battery switch. This will cost $1,000 to repair and take a week to get part and get done.

First, at 74 dollars a tire was over 100 dollars cheaper than anyone around local or the web. Ordered the tires online and shipped to the Commack location. Had the tires installed in the morning and was out in an hour. The manager Mike was great and the guy who installed the tires did a great job. I wanted to have an oil change as well but the the kid doing them was on slow stop mode.

I ordered a set of tires through the online Walmart website. I had the tires shipped to the Walmart location in Commack since I wanted the tires mounted there. I never received an email or notification that the Commack store received the tires. I waited 2 weeks since ordering them and since it took so long I decided to track them down. Turns out they were at the store the whole time. I finally go to pick them up so I can have them mounted there. The manager Mike lies directly to my face and tells me his tire machine can t handle the size of the tires and that he can t mount them. Funny thing is I had the same size tires mounted at that same location 5 months earlier in October on a different set of wheels. I explained that to him and he made up an excuse saying he got new machines (which is another lie because I remember the tire machines from last time I was there since I m a mechanic and was watching them install the tires back in October). So Mike the manager lies to me just because it was the end of the day and almost closing time that he didn t want to take the job of mounting them. So I had to go to pep boys down the road and have them install the tires and they even stayed way past closing time to get those tires mounted for me even though I bought the tires from Walmart and still had the Walmart stickers on them.

I order tires online and have them put on the car here. The price for their tires is really great and is hard to beat. Also, the price for their bargain car batteries are also great. I bought a 2-year rated battery and it lasted five years for me. Will definitely buy again.

The guys here are so kind and the older gentleman that took care of us was so funny and kind. They installed our new battery in less than 30 minutes. I ll be using them more for any of my minor car needs

Needed a set of rear tires and showed up at 7am. Mike the manager was the only one there, but he got to working on my car immediately. Work was done quickly and Mike was totally professional. Great price, but more important GREAT SERVICE! A+++

The new manager of the auto department Mike was incredibly helpful. He was very busy but still managed to fit me in at the last minute and fix my flat for me. It was under warranty but the paperwork was lost and he spent at least a half hour looking for it on my behalf. His employee William was also incredibly helpful. Highly recommed!!

I was brought to this place by my ex,& I am so glad he did! Prices are AMAZING, (quality is nowhere compromised). I have always returned here for any tire-related servicing, and they have always take care of me very well. When I bought my tires, there was a different staff, & the last couple of times, I ve noticed a whole completely different staff (which is a good thing). The manager here, Mike, is very attentive and always tries to meet the customer s needs. Everytime I have come for servicing, he is hard at work, & also, helped me with an issue, that was mainly caused by the former staff no longer there. I live by the city, & I drive alllll the way to Commack, because of the customer service and great prices. I trust Mr Mike and his current staff at the shop,& will definitely be returning (why wouldn t I?) I ve also recommended this place to several friends for tire servicing and shopping. I myself have worked in customer service, & being on the customer side, I see why certain people always go back to the place where their needs are met and they leave happy and satisfied. Mr Mike receives A++!
