I had an emergency with a nail in my tire so I stopped at Mavis in Cold Spring, NY, around 5pm; I think they close at 6pm. I live some 10 miles north. I've been to other Mavis stores but all pale in comparison to service and attitude. Justin (manager?) was very helpful, honest and polite. Rodney (technician) also nice. I appreciate honesty and professionalism.Not once they mentioned I needed a new tire (my tires have about 10K miles on them, so not that old). A similar situation with same car last year at another shop and the first thing they did was to try to sell me a new ..set of tries. I know what kind of punctures (usually sidewall) can't be repaired, but most can be repaired easily. I have done it myself with the simple tools and patches available at all auto shops. I just don't want to bother any more.The point is that if I need another kind of service on my car, I'd be more confident in going to this Mavis location and not to the Beacon one. ;) People rely on their cars and when something unexpected goes wrong it's probably a crisis moment, especially if someone doesn't have car knowledge. Unscrupulous mechanics take advantage of such situations to sell something unnecessary and, of course, lot more expensive.So kudos to Mavis of Cold Spring and to the people who work there!

Excellent service. I stopped in to have a tire plugged and they managed to handle a bunch of little issues I was having. They were fast and very helpful. Definitely recommend.

Anthony and the guys at Mavis are the best! I ve gotten a lot of work done here lately- many oil changes, new tires and new brakes. They go above and beyond to explain what they are doing to my car. I feel like I m in good hands here!

Great service at this location. Came in for an oil change and I knew my tires were on their last legs but I didn t know just how bad they were until they showed me (and explained everything kindly and clearly without condescending). Got new ones installed quickly and for a great price with discounts. Thank you guys!

Mavis has always been great for me. Quick service, pleasant customer service, and they re always willing to try and work with you on pricing. And my favorite thing is definitely the FREE air for your tires, everywhere else charges $1 minimum.

I was starting on a road trip and needed to borrow a tool for a quick auto repair. I'm very thankful that Justin was on duty, as he was more than happy to lend a hand. A set of shears for a minute, then I was on my way. I really appreciate Justin's desire to be of service, even though I was not a customer. Exceptional service! This Mavis location is now 1st on my list when I need my next set of tires.

For a couple of years I have been taking both my Subaru and my Tesla to Mavis Cold Spring for their annual state inspections, because they go beyond the basic requirements and give the cars good overall checks. So today when my Tesla reported a tire leak I went to my trusted guys to get it checked out. They did a thorough check of the tire and quickly found and corrected the problem. The guys there are friendly, straightforward, and extremely helpful. I'm sure I will be going there again soon for another of their various services, because I know I can totally trust them to do a great job.

I had previously used this Mavis location happily but then had problems there so stopped. I reluctantly went in this morning with a screw in my tire. The welcome was lovely and the staff had all changed. Instead of waiting for a whole day (this used to be a thing) they plugged the tire as requested and quoted me a fantastic price for 2 new tires. Justin went out of his way to be polite, respectful and engaging. He also responded to me like he was actually listening to what I said. Wow! How things have changed there! I am excited to return my custom to them.

The Mavis team did a great job fixing a leaky tire and issue with my brakes. They went above and beyond showing me what was going on with my brakes while it was up on the lift. This was on short notice too. I'd recommend checking them out.

Stopped by because my tire kept getting low. Justin was very helpful and took my car in immediately to check the tire. They found a nail and patched it up right away. Had me in and out in under an hour! So nice, so quick and great job! Definitely recommend!

I had my car brought in for a oil leak, and spoke with a very nice young man Anthony, he was very knowledgeable with what what was happening with my car and what it needed, he worked quick and thoroughly to get it done as quick as he could and done right, then he was able to show me a way I could get all my tires done so we got the tires done. I had a great experience here and will definitely be coming back to use them again! Thanks to Anthony I m all set to go! Thanks to the mechanics and staff for all the help

While driving today I got a flat tire. What I expected to be a hectic day was very smooth and fast. Anthony helped me get the perfect match for what was on my car already. I was told some other work that was going to be needed in the future I will definitely be coming back to cold spring Mavis!

Mavis of Cold Spring was very nice to stay and help me out with my inspection and oils change. Justin was very helpful getting me to the location. I was in a Poughkeepsie and unfortunately the Mavis by Price chopper on south road could not accommodate my needs.The Mavis on Parker Ave in Poughkeepsie could not accommodate me as well.I guess the 3rd time was the charm. Justin must have the luck of the Irish I was very lucky to have him help me

Today I was in a jam with a prediction of an upcoming snowstorm! I was so grateful that Mavis had the tires I wanted (I had found the brand on consumer reports). I definitely recommend this place... the staff is knowledgeable, kind, and efficient.

I had my oil change, my tires rotated and my car inspected at this location and I was blown away at the lovely and attentive customer service! They truly go above and beyond here and I cannot recommend them more. I would go out of my way to have my car serviced at this location just because of the amazing experience I had here. They took the time to get the job done right and quickly too! If I could rate them 10 stars I would! Great job!!

Justin and Anthony were amazing. Great guys. My car tire blew in a snow storm. I dropped the tire off and brought the car in the next day. They looked it over and put the new tire. Great attitudes on both men

I was able to bring my car in for a patched leak in my tire without an appointment and they took me right away. One of the mechanics, Justin, was also able to find a couple concerns that my car needed pretty soon without pressuring me to get it fixed on the spot. These guys are great and I ll be returning in the future.

I have used this Mavis a bunch of times. Most recently for tires/brakes on a Subaru Impreza and a Ram 1500. Each time the staff are polite, engaged and willing to go the extra mile to help. Most importantly the service has been spot on with no issues after services have been completed.

I called this store on Sunday morning with a flat tire emergency. I always hate to call auto shops and ask for a service because it's always a pretty rude experience and I am a woman who is scared over getting overcharged. However, Anthony answered the phone happily, told me to come in and they would do everything they could to help me, as I am not very knowledgeable about tires. We came in and they took the truck into the shop immediately. Anthony was very kind throughout the whole experience. It took about an hour and we got a huge discount. Anthony even took his spare time to buff my headlights for fun and free of charge. I will recommend this place for the rest of my life! Thank you to all of the employees for your quick, helpful, and kind service!

I have been leasing for years and never had the need for a service station - always went back to the dealer. Those days are over. A friend referred me to Mavis. I am so glad I chose the Cold Spring location. Anthony is definitely an expert in his field. No more stressing over car repairs!

Anthony basically saved my entire day after having a flat in an area I'm not from. He was so helpful and so kind. This was my first experience at a Mavis and even though I'm not from Cold spring I feel like I want to come back to get tires from here whenever I need them. 10/10 best THANK YOU!

Super quick tire pressure monitor/sensor replacement! Had the best experience here this morning. Christina is awesome; you can tell she takes pride in her job and taking care of her customers. The tech that did the service, Justin, took the time to explain everything that was necessary. There should be more places that provide excellent quality service like this one.

Anthony from Mavis Tires in Cold Spring has helped me many times with car issues. He is patient and answers all my questions. Most recently Anthony helped me where another place did not help out as much as they should of on a tire issue..on a Sunday to boot. I highly recommend this local gem.

Had an issue with one of my tires leaking air for the past month or two .dropped my car off at Mavis. Anthony, the manager, graciously took care of it. They carefully inspected the tire and got me back on the road with no issues! Thank you for making my vehicle safe again Mavis and Anthony!

Had the best experience here, usually it is really nerve wrecking going to a shop for any automotive work and this place was beyond accommodating. Anthony is the best and has a way of making these everyday hassles that much easier. I ll be back to this Mavis from now on with ease.

Anthony gave me remarkable service, from start to finish, actually cared about all of my needs and listened to my concerns on the vehicle. But the most important part, I trusted him. Genuine guy, didn t feel like he was just coming up with things to add to my bill. Did what was needed and I appreciate him for that. Will be back !
