There is the one guy that always has a reason why something can t be done. It always hemming and honing about things. He helped me in paint one time and gave me 4 reasons why he could not match my paint, in tire and lube no matter how many people are waiting he says there is at least 2 hour wait then when booking an appointment he has some reason always why he can t.

Brought my Buick here for a simple oil change, they didn t tighten my drain plug which caused my engine to seize

I have had a number of very good experiences when taking my car to the Walmart auto care center in Cobleskill. The people who work in that shop have consistently demonstrated that they make it their priority to do the job right and treat their customers courteously at the same time.

Good experience, cashiers were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Had 4 new tires put on which went fine. Ordered the tires off walmart.com and delivered directly to the store, and with ease set up an appointment to install them afterwards. Entire process was quick, convenient and easy.

II had new tires put on just over a week ago but ran over a roofing nail this morning. In a panic, I called and told them what happened. I could HEAR air hissing out. I was worried and stressing about now being late to work. Matt and his friend got my car tire changed and got me out the door in under fifteen minutes. I was so relieved and impressed. Wonderful! Made an appointment and brought my vehicle in with 4 tires I purchased online for mount/balance. They were the wrong size (my fault), so I exchanged with the retailer online. One week later, I called for another appointment and was told they don't make appointments and only work with tires from Walmart.com? What you get apparently depends on who you talk to. They are very nice here but the really need to hire more experienced auto mechanic. I'm sure it's hard to find good people. The sometimes didn't have the right tool & have charged us for things we're shouldn't have been charged for.

They should bulldoze this place and turn it int a mcdonalds. It's a joke, if you can manage to wake the counter help you can try and talk them into selling you tires. Then the install techs lead guy goes buy the name rumple stiltskin dont take your eyes off him for minutes 3 or else they'll not be mounted tehee. Return hours later to find there was some excuse not to do the work. If they do the work, say 2 out of 10 tires will leak.Service: Oil change

Ok, so initial interactions there weren't the most favorable, but after coming here for a few years I came to realize the team at the auto center knows what they're doing. (compared to other Walmarts). They are just always completely slammed and have to hustle. Heather is tough, but sympathetic. A few days ago, they really helped me out in a pinch, pushed me to the head of the queue, and solved my mysterious tire leaking air issue that a couple of other shops couldn't figure out. Turns out it was a microscopic hole. Carl (the manager there) personally diagnosed and solved my issue. I was very grateful because I desperately needed my truck in optimal working order that week.

Installed new tires. Good got all 4 done earlier than expected. All shop staff worked together to help. Will return soon.

Cobleskill Wal-Mart auto center should close their doors and only sell tires. The entire staff either lacks the technically knowledge to perform the very limited services they offer or are lazy and unwilling to put any effort into a job. They refused do a tire job because their air tools were incapable of removing all the lug nuts and apparently have never hears of hand tools and a breaker bar...

I brought my truck tire in for a repair which they did plug the hole but they also got the sealer all over my tire, damaged my sidewall, only put 28psi in a 80psi heavy duty truck tire. Did not rebalance the tire which is part of what I paid for.Service: TiresService: Tires

Bought new tires from Tirerack - Paid walmart to have them mounted and balanced. Got it back, and it wasn't correct, Went back a second time and had them rebalanced - same result. Took them to Monroe - it is now correct, though I am $50 poorer.

Wal Mart Tire and Lube Cobleskill is the worst. Employees arguing with other employees took a tire for a flat repair took over 2 hours to do it I will never come here again.

Every time anybody goes to get service here the workers try to talk you out of getting it done because they don t want to work. The parking lot is empty and they tell you it will be about 2 hours before we can get to it. They know they don t have to make money because they have the store to fall back onto. Home office needs to crack down on these lazy workers they are awful!Service: General repairs & maintenance

If I could give it lower then a one star i would do it. I have been going to walmart to get my oil changes for at least 6 years. Just these past 3 months it takes up 6 hours to get an oil change here. I am done.

I didn't get passed the register and she couldn't answer a basic question about the battery. She answered as if she was asking me the question. I then turned around and left
