This is my first experience with West Side Cycles and I couldn't be happier. I can't believe how my 23 year old Honda XR650R is running right now. First of all, it starts first kick now. It never did that before - even when new! It always took at least two or three kicks. And then fiddling around with the choke to keep it running until it warmed up. No more spitting and sputtering, no more loud backfiring upon deceleration. It's running PERFECT now, just a joy to ride again. That smooth torquey delivery of power is back and better than ever. In addition to working his magic on my fuel system, John also installed new tires and tubes (fully balanced), and a bunch of other tweaks, such as getting the electrical system straightened out and working properly (it has a 22 year old aftermarket lighting kit on it), adjusting the valves, and more. I haven't had this much fun riding my bike since it was new. Can't wait to hit the trail!Services: Carburetor cleaning, Electrical repair, Tires, Engine repair

Came in for a quick tire change. Scheduling was a breeze, and the work was flawless. Prices very reasonable, and the staff is very friendly and inviting. I will definitely be doing business with them again, and highly recommend them for anyone needing work done to their bike.

Can t say enough good things about this place.First time stopping in and everyone was extremely professional and pleasant. Just needed a set of tires mounted and balanced, but instead of the just throw them over there, we ll get to them you get at most places.They took the time to come out, inspect Every rim and make sure they came out exactly the same way they went in.And they did! Flawless, extremely particular and quick! Dropped them off around 2 got the call to pick them up around 5.Absolutely will be going back for anything bike related!Service: Tires

I took my Gsxr-750 to West side Cycles and Im more than happy with their work. I got tires and a break job done and I m very pleased with their business. I highly recommended them to have work done on your bike. Sure ,you can work on it yourself and save some money, but you run the risk of missing something that can cost you your life on the road.John and his wife are super friendly and professional, they know their stuff. I plan to take my bike there again if I m ever in need of something for my bike.Services: Tires, Brake service & repair

These guys are incredible, I thought I had a blown motor and I was ready to buy a whole new one. These guys fit me in last minute, took the bike in and got to work.2 days later John calls and tell me the bike is running and ready to be picked up, it was electrical and turns out I didn t need a motor.It doesn t stop there, on top of fixing my motor problem, they went ahead and tighten up a bunch of stuff that was wrong w the bike (rear brake lever fixed, repaired a stripped bolt and other stuff it needed).I m so happy with the service, honesty and attention to detail John and Ryan put on my track motorcycle, I got so much value for my money.Thank you gentlemen.Service: Electrical repair

Brought my race bike zx6r to do valve adjustments, steering bearings and check everything else out. They did the work fast and very well. Not super knowledgeable on Vespas but for great for motorcycles. Great customer service, but I wasted money taking my vespa in and it wasn't fixed at all.

This place is 5 stars all day long. I took my honda there after another service person was unable to repair it. John fixed it in a very short time. They recently moved locations and he offered to move the bike to his new location and store it for the winter. I showed up yesterday to pick it up and was ready to pay for the repair, storage and inspection. He could have easily double charged me but being the honest guy he is he said that I only owed him $6 for the inspection. I will definately be back when the need arises. I love my motorcycle and I want it to run right. It pushes me over the asphalt at a pretty good clip and I leave it to the professionals to keep it running safely. It needed a speed sensor replaced and not only did they do it quickly, the cost was reasonable for the complexity of the work and it was done right the first time. Outside of my satisfaction with the repair, the atmosphere of the shop was welcoming and I got the sense that I was in an establishment where people enjoyed what they do. When people enjoy what they do, it is obvious and it shows in the quality of what they do. I am grateful I discovered this place. Thank you, West Side Cycles.Service: Electrical repair

I ve been riding for 34yrs and lived in different parts of the country dealing with different mechanics. I was lucky enough to have John as my mechanic for roughly 10yrs and I have never had a better mechanic. John and his crew are dependable, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have work done.

Stellar customer service and quality work! I had them install a custom exhaust pipe on my s1000rr and I wasn't disappointed! When I dropped my bike off I was asked exactly what I needed to be done, they really care about your bike and the work they do. I was very impressed and will definitely be coming back in the future for more work to be done. A superb business to trust! If you need any work done to your ride make sure you come here, you will be nothing short of satisfied.

This place is without a doubt the best bike shop in the Rochester area. I typically work on my own bike, but every now and then you need a pro to tackle stuff outside of your expertise. I have taken my bikes to every other shop in the Rochester area and usually left broke, frustrated, and disappointed with the work. None of this happens when dealing with West Side. Their pricing, quality of work, and customer service are top notch. I will never even consider taking my bikes elsewhere as long as John and his crew are in business.Services: Electrical repair, Tires

I brought my Ducati in with a fuel line issue and it was sorted out in just a couple business days and at a more than reasonable price. Couldn't be happier with the service I got!I will definitely be coming back for any future work that needs to be done.

John at West side cycles is by far an exceptionally helpful person. Having lost my inspection sticker I came to him needing proof of the previous inspection. John was able to get me a copy and email it to me expediently. It's always a pleasure to stop by west side cycles.

This shop is just as good as it gets I think. Honest quotes and information, good prices and high quality work. Worked on my 1985 CB650SC multiple times with great results. Thank You West Side Cycles!

I had researched motorcycle repair/custom shops in the area and it seemed that West Side had a good reputation, so I called [in a panic]; Tina helped me get my bike there and the rest is history. John has been incredibly helpful, caring and has done all of the accoutrements and adjustments necessary to my 2017 Harley Davidson SuperlowXL, teaching me a great deal along the way.Their turnaround time is expeditous, overnights are secured, the shop is very accessible with plenty of parking area, their team members are professional and amiable, and West Side's prices are fair and reasonable. Above everything, John and Tina demonstrate a high level of integrity.Trust and believe, I do not allow just anyone to care for either of my motorized rides. As long as West Side is in business, they will have my business.

Brought my bike here for a carb issue that I could not figure out and they did a great job in fixing the issue. They were upfront about everything and provided regular updates. I will definitely return and would highly recommend.

These guys were fast and awesome with their service. Needed a fuel pump to get back on the road down to GA and they squeezed me in right away, overnight, I was on my way the next day about an hour after they opened

Needed a motorcycle shop who was open for ride-up NYS inspections (not all of them are open during the pandemic). The shop answered my questions on the phone courteously and took care of the inspection immediately after I rode up shortly after. No fussing about. Will take my bike here again, thanks West Side Cycles for the help on Saturday.

I called West Side Cycles today to ask if they sold used motorcycles. Unfortunately, they do not. John was kind enough to spend 10 minutes of his time describing how to navigate the pitfalls of purchasing a used bike and what to look for. Also gave me several great suggestions. When I make the leap West Side Cycles has my business. Thank you very much for your help John!! Very kind of you.
