I purchased a used 2014 Toyota 4Runner in 2019, and have only ever trusted Village Auto Works with any of the maintenance and repairs needed. Love taking my car here - they are always SO helpful and kind. They were recommended to me by Strictly Ford for work on my Toyota Tundra. Andre was able to give me a time to drop off my truck that worked with my schedule and did an amazing job figuring out what was wrong with my truck and fixing it in a very timely manner for a very reasonable price. I couldn t be happier with their service and will be back with any further needs. Me and my friends broke down on the parkway 3 hours into a 6 hour trip. We were lucky enough to be close to Village Auto Works. They fixed up our issue for an incredible price and got us back on our trip. They were so nice and accommodating despite us literally rolling into their shop 2 hours before they close. Had a Check Engine Light on my 04 Outback, that no one could figure out the cause. Andre diagnosed it, and fixed it right away. Priced very fair, and made it convenient around my busy work schedule. Would def recommend

I am a mechanic with over thirty years in my trade. I recently purchased a car from a private individual who had used Village Auto Works for repair work to the car I purchased. The individual was not mechanically inclined so it was a safe bet he didn't work on his car himself. He said he had used Village Auto Works for years. After I purchased the car I took a hard look under the hood and found that someone had improperly crushed an edge of a replaced air filter, allowing air to flow directly into the air box. I removed the filter and found it filthy to the point of where no light was able to shine through - it hadn't been changed in years. I took the car to a repair shop I trust in Northern New Jersey and we found that the emergency brake cables were solidly rusted fast, and again had likely been that way for years. Village Auto Works had done a NYS inspection on this car a little over a year ago - there's no way the emergency brake cables would have worked properly and the car should have failed the inspection. We replaced the left & rear cables, shoes and hardware, and found that the right rear hub wouldn't spin by hand - the bearing had failed. The person I bought the car from had just had all new brakes and rotors replaced by Village Auto Works less than six months earlier, and the hub would have been an obvious issue then. The rear wiper blade also hadn't been changed in years, another failure in a NYS inspection -a local Toyota dealer had one in stock. $180.00 for a synthetic oil change with "seal and replace all four tire valves" - really? The problem with all the glowing reviews is that most of them are coming from people who are not mechanics themselves - how many of them would recognize an issue if they saw it?

Brought my car there a few days ago to have the AC fixed as it was blowing warm air. I was very impressed with the work that was done as both the compressor and expansion valve had to get replaced. The price was beyond reasonable(VW dealership told me both the condenser and compressor were bad and quoted me $1900 and it turns out Andre and his team found the condenser was indeed working fine) Very pleased with the business and happy to finally have a great working AC system. Will be back there for sure in the future.

I've gone to them on three different occasions and have yet to be disappointed. Always enjoy talking to Andre and having him and his people do the work that is needed. They used to be cash only, but have since upgraded to take credit cards. Prices are very fair. Overall a top-notch garage.

My son purchased a 2016 Suburu WRX from a dealership in NJ and the previous owner had burnt out the clutch Village Auto Works had the issue fixed within 2 days and it has been running smoothly ever since. My sister has been using this business for years and it is no wonder. They are amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Class act!

It is so hard to find a good honest mechanic. I started coming to Village auto from a friends recommendation. After being burned by numerous other local shops, I can say I have found my new Mechanic. Between Andre and Bob, they both go out of their way to help you out, and get you back on the road. Andre has worked on all 3 of my cars now, and each time, they diagnose and fix the problems at a very reasonable cost. I have never had to bring a car back because it waasn't fixed right the first, unlike other places I have gone. I do not believe they have ever overcharged me for fixing parts that may not need to be replaced, unlike other places. They get me in, they get me out, and its always at a reasonable rate. I would highly recommend Village Auto works!!

Excellent Auto repair shop. There very thorough. If they notice other things wrong with your vehicle, they'll let you know. They only make repairs, that need repairing. There honest. I've been going to them since 2003. No complaints. They even worked on my differential and did a non standard repair. Truck runs beautiful. Thanks guys

Amazing service! Car trouble brought me into the shop while driving through town. Andre and Bob were so accommodating, they looked at my vehicle quickly and had it repaired within two hours. I cannot thank them enough for their excellent service!

VW dealer told me my electrical problem could take 4 to 5 hours to locate and only then will they know what it will cost to repair. The labor charge would be in the hundreds. Andre fixed the problem in alittle over an hour. You do the math!!! Trust is a big factor when looking for a mechanic! Thank you.

I took my old Altima to Village Auto this morning because the garage in Warwick told me that i needed back brakes and a caliper. The car passed inspection at that shop. When they got it on the lift, Andre showed me there was more wrong with it and it shouldn't have passed. He said he'd fix it today as it wasn't safe for me to drive. Thanks guys for taking care of me. Trustworthy mechanics.
