Hello, I am extremely disappointed in this place. On 11/5/22, I showed up for a basic oil change and left paying a whole lot more and and with the step of my drivers side broken. One of the mechanics was seen on camera going in and out of my vehicle. After a few step ups and step downs he broken my step of my van and tried to cover it up by stating it was due to excessive rust. Yes my van is rusty, but not to the level of where he had to break the step of the vehicle.It was accident by the mechanic, but extremely unprofessional to tell me to take it to a body shop and get it fixed. Had he been more careful, the step would have not been broken. I came in to the store with a good step ladder, and left with a broken one. That makes no sense to me. I will never go to this location again. It was a recommendation from a friend and I was excited to bring my van to a new mechanic.I will be filing a complaint against the store and I want my step fixed. I am so upset. The step allows me to safely get in and out of my vehicle. Now I have to hop off and risk injury. See photos attached. Staff are so wonderful! Everytime I come in they explain things to me. I never feel like they are trying to sell me things I don t need, especially as a woman. Always have a wonderful experience. Quick, efficient, friendly!

Don't go to this place, they have no respect for customers time.The sales man is a LIAR, And will do everything to sale it's non sense Very expensive oils and fluids.I was very specific to them to my needs, what he did was hassle me to sell he's oil and fluid, wasting my time and made me Late for my Very Important appointment.I warn you NEVER go there you wil REGRET IT and will be very sorry.

This is the third time that the staff removed and didn t replace all the clips that hold the covers that protect my engine in my Lexus. I m going back for them to fix this annoyance and it will be my last time to use Valvoline. They also have jacked up their prices up significantly. I was a loyal customer for many years. No more.

Ramon of Vavoline in Port Chester, NY made my day with his knowledge and humor when discovering cereal, ripped tissues, and poo droppings on my air filter. My inspection and filter replacement took less time than it took for me to drive there. I purposely go out of my way just to visit this location. Ramon, again, thank you.

Quick in and out. Professional and courteous service. As a repeat customer the past information is readily available for a fast check-in and exit. I dropped the car off, walked to the local supermarket and came back to the awaiting car. I only had a few questions but all my needs were met. I d recommend this valvoline. It was fairly clean for the type of work done and the mechanics were all very helpful & insightful. Pay no mind to the bad reviews left by blatantly rude, uncouth & untruthful customers. Cars cost! If you can t afford to maintain one you shouldn t have one.

I really appreciated the service there. I went for an oil change. They employees there are very friendly. I also appreciated that they didn t try to push me to pay for additional services. Will definitely go there again.

I went into The Valvoline in Port Chester NY to see if I was able to get an oil change because I didnt have an appointment..The manager/supervisor said "Yes"...I was so impressed!! I didnt wait long...its was reasonably wait time for me as a Walk-In customer..!! And I received great service.!! I had a great First Time experience with the staff..!! I will return back to Valvoline for my next oil change..And I got my windshield wipers replaced there also..!! Me and my car had a great day..!!

Clearly used an impact to put the drain plug back in. Bolt is stripped and very much stuck. So frustrating because it literally takes 3 seconds to do it right, and now I'll probably end up having to replace the oil pan. Avoid this place

I just got my NYS inspection done here. I had a very pleasant experience. I came by at about 4:00 on a Wednesday and asked for an inspection. They said they stop doing inspections at 3:00 and that I should make an appointment. The very kind worker ran back in to get his appointment book, ran back out, and scheduled me that Friday at noon. They moved the cones for me so I could exit the line of cars efficiently. I came back two days later and passed my inspection in about 20 minutes for about $30. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Friendly, fast, and cost efficient

My car had been taken to Valvoline by the previous owner. So I decided, my first oil change as the new owner, I ll keep it the same.. I asked for a regular oil change. I get charged roughly $80.Takes them over 30 minutes to get it done and in the process they kept trying to add up more and more services and expenses.As I begin to drive later in the day, I notice a burning smell. I pop the hood open to see what it was and I see that they left my car s oil cap loose. Lack of professionalism and worse yet, can ruin someone s car. I DO NOT recommend this place.Service: Oil change

I was a valvoline customer for years. The last two times that I ve gone for an emission inspections it s been bad service. The first time I had to go 3 times until they finally checked the car. The second time I was told it is now done by appointments and to go to Mavis. I guess they don t care losing customers to another company. I ll have to go to the dealers now for inspections and all other services.

I went to this Valvoline yesterday at around 420PM. I was immediately met outside by a friendly employee, Javier I believe, who told me that on top of the oil change they check tire pressure, fluids and air filter and asked me if that was ok for them to do, to which I agreed. Long story short, I was in and out of that place in about 30 minutes and that's WITH someone else in front of me. I got my oil changed, air filter replaced and wiper blades replaced for $98, which doesn't seem bad to me. Great service, I highly recommend.

No appointment necessary. Got in and out in just a few minutes. I usually change my own oil, but for some reason I could not remove my filter. So I went to this place where I used to go when I was younger and did not know how to change oil yet. The price is reasonable and the staff are very friendly and well knowledged. They explained the things they did and told me the things that they recommend doing but not really needed (a way to upsell but they don't really push you to get it done). Overall a good experience with this place.

My son went in for an oil change a few weeks ago and they ended up charging him 200$ and took advantage of him. Outrageous price for an oil change. He ended up going back yesterday for a quick inspection because Mad dogs, right around the corner and much better people and service, wasn't available for a little bit to help. Valvoline said the only way they would do an inspection was if we bought new windshield wipers from them. Seriously? that must be a joke who would constantly try and take advantage of a high schooler. I am sure he was not the only person to fall for their tricks. I would not recommend to anyone looking for good service. Go to Mad Dogs right around the corner

Been going to this place for a few years now. Yes, the appmts. for a NYS inspection now is a pain. But, Ramon, the Manager will take care of you (he's a good guy). My only gripe, is if you have a GDI engine, they still don't have GF6(a or b) oil available, even though Valvoline makes it. Come on Valvoline, get on the ball! This technology has been around for a while now, and that type of oil reduces carbon fouling in the cylinders.Services: Air conditioning, Oil change

Way too busy to take care of a customer. Stereotype oil change place. But tried to do one state inspection and Oil change few times during last two weeks... Every time I went there ... The estimated avarage wait time was 90 min. That is unexpected from a quick oil change place. Good luck to them for their customer flow.. but there are many Valvoline shop in nearby towns where a 15-20 min drive can save my valuable time.

Set up an appointment for state inspection yesterday, got there today, said they didn't get the notification after making me wait for 30 minutes just to check my car in, not even taking my info. I've had other issues with this branch before but today was the straw that broke the camels back, these guys are just bums. Valvoline HQ needs send someone for some QC. Go anywhere else.

I went in for an oil change and came out with an oil change and many other things. Although they always find many things that are necessary to be done, I don't usually do it. This time, I knew they were needed, so I said yes. For each item, I specifically asked the price. What was supposed to be a $20 charge for steering fluid ended up being $89 becasue they added the service. I had ok'd the service, after asking how much, and he had said $20.I called when I got home and checked my emailed receipt. They said sorry about that but it's too late now, the service is done.

5 stars, great frienddly service, good workmanship, competitive priced, accepts coupons, quick through service, manager knows cars and is sometimes able to perform minor repairs while your car is being serviced. Been going there for years. Highly recommend.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I've had some not-so-good experiences at other similar places, but this one was great. Will definitely go back next time.

Products,at awesome ,I always stop at this shop to do my oil change.All the guys working there are very friendly expect the MANAGER(Blonde guy)have to be more professional carrying your MANAGER name.Months ago they have a Manager name Jesus,that guy was awesome.

Unprofessional management. My last visit I decide to change the wiper blades, one of the employers break the arm that hold the wiper blade (that's fine, accidents happen) my complaint is took more than a week to order the part to be replaced. I call the dealer they can order the part and install in 2 days. I'm not coming back to Port Chester store.

I was here for 30 minutes with only 1 car in front of me in line. After getting impatient, I went inside to see why there was three bays and only ONE car inside with 4 workers standing around laughing. Hire better employees who actually do their job and you won't lose monthly customers like myself.

If you re going to get your oil changed, just know they don t change the filter. You ll have to go somewhere else to do that anyway so why not just go to the second place first.
