Valvoline on Chili avenue is a wonderful place to get your oil changed. They are KIND, which you don t find many car places lol, they don t mind explaining things, they take their time but are still efficient. I hope they are appreciated because everyone on shift at 1:25 pm on 04/17/24, was absolutely amazing. They never stopped moving. When they talk to the people under the car it sounds like a different language I will be returning, thank you so much. Devan did my car. He s really really good and had a smile the whole time. Thank you so much. Keep up the good work. Duncan was working hard next to my car, the long red head girl I believe her name is Jessica, you are so incredibly nice and sweet and always on the go. As well as Makayla with short blonde hair you are so sweet and didn t get aggravated with all my questions. Call me if anyone ever gives y all trouble because I ll curse them out real quick lol. You guys are truly a great team. Thank you!! And thank you to the people below the cars as well. I couldn t see you but it wouldn t be done with out you. Thank you!!

Went around 4:10 pm on a Friday. Was in and out within 15 minutes. The assistant manager took care of me and was extremely friendly! Price was 101 for synthetic oil full service. Will go again!!!

I went there tonight just after 5:30pm. They are open till 7, it wasn't too busy but had a few cars in line. I told Alan that I was in a little bit of a rush and he made sure that once I got into the bay, I was out as fast as possible. Alan and the team worked fast and efficiently to get me in and out and I appreciate that very much!

I've been getting my oil change at the Chili Valvoline for years, but my recent visit was a disappointment. From my observation, the staff are overworked and understaffed. As a result, some of the work included in a basic oil change weren't performed. Hopefully it'll be better the next time.

I left this shop extremely happy. Leyci, Makayla and Demetrious worked together as a team... I have a European engine which requires special oil and filter she took her time and researched the correct items I needed and told me what to get and they did it fast, affective and now I know I can rely on them! Thanks you guys.

I needed an oil change in my car in a pinch, and couldn't get to the dealership for an appointment. I'm absolutely delighted with the service I received today. Rachel and TP were so incredibly friendly. TP commented on my Bills license plate and we had a nice chat about WNYs favorite team. I will absolutely be returning to this location in the future. Staff is incredibly friendly, the whole process was efficient and cost the same as going to the dealer. No appointment needed.Tip: download the Valvoline Instant Oil Change app, it will give you wait times and there was no wait for me to get my car in.

I went here for an oil change and despite how long I waited it was worth it. Alan was so helping and caring. He answered all my questions and is such a genuine person. I recommend this place to anyone.

Get to sit in the car while oil is changed. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and quick. Definitely will return again

Been going to Valvoline for years. After an expensive oil change, smoke started coming you to the exhaust. Upon inspecting the dipstick, there was more than double the amount of oil in the engine. We quickly realized the old oil was never drained. This could have been a very expensive repair had we caught it later and should have been avoided. They fixed the issue the next day, which was appreciated, but had we not seen it, this would have been very bad. Draining all the oil is part of an oil change! Back to doing my own oil changes.

They impressed me with speed, friendliness and efficiency. Tim, Danny and Demetrius were the representatives I dealt with today. It might cost a little more to go here but I'm so tired of juggling a car, shuttle, itinerary for a routine service. I worked in automotive industry in the past so I can be critical of my service experiences. This location did great!

I should have learned my lesson the first time they over torqued my skidplate back on because they were frustrated with it. My wife brought her car in for an oil change out of necessity and once again, they seemed to find a way to do a terrible job. Oil all over my drive way. Sure they fixed it for us, topped it back up again and put a new filter on but ive never in my 23 years of changing my own oil seen an o-ring be defective and cause oil to leak. I have over tightened an oil filter though and that will sure do it. Also the oil was straight black, like dirty oil. Spending more money to take it elsewhere because I just cant trust Chili Ave Valvoline. Def do not recommend this particular valvoline. Especially if you appreciate your vehicle, and your cement driveway.

Best service I ve ever received! I called around to multiple stores, I desperately needed a battery replaced as I had a wedding to attend. They knew I was in a hurry they got me immediately in, and had that battery replaced in less then 10 min! The guys were outstanding, very professional and friendly. I Highly recommend this location to everyone, I ll definitely return!Service: Battery

I pulled into this valvoline location for a warranty on my battery that keeps dying. Car legit died in their bay. And instead of warranting the battery they send me to the location I purchased it at. I thought a warranty is a warranty. Not I have to drive 12 miles out of my way because you didn t want to eat the cost of a warranty

5/16/21 - I took my a Mazda to have its oil changed today and could not be more impressed with the service I received from Tim and his crew (David, Ryan, and Demetrius) at the Gates NY location. Tim walked me through every step they took and explained my options without pressuring me into things I didn't need. As a Veteran I can tell you Tim and his team worked like a cohesive unit getting me in and out in under 30 minutes. He even thanked me for my service twice while I was there. The Gates Valvoline will continue to be my go to place for quick service. I recommend this location to anyone in need of fast, professional, and thorough service for their vehicles.2020- Quick and excellent service from friendly staff! As essential workers these guys could be resentful, but from the moment I pulled in they were super friendly, cheerful, and didn't pressure me into an upsell I didn't want. The service was quick and painless, then I was back on my way in under 30 minutes. The place was pretty busy so the manager rolled up his sleeves and did the oil change himself. Not many managers would do that these days. My hats off to him. His willingness to work hard right along side his employees is probably the top reason the employees don't hate their job, which translates to a great customer experience.
