Not good business at all. After giving me one price ($5000) and having my vehicle in his possession for almost 2 months he decided to increase the price by $1200 (totalling $6200). When asked why he went up, he could not give me a straight answer. He told me it would take him a few weeks to fix my car, that he just needed 2 weeks to clear out his garage. He had my vehicle for 6 months. Every few weeks I would come to check on it, every time, a new problem. He also told me he didn't need any up front money, but a month later he calls saying he needed $3000 up front to buy parts. So my car sat with him almost 2 months, no work getting done, no parts ordered, nothing. When he gave me the receipts for the parts he had to purchase, he paid only a few hundred dollars extra, outside of the $3000 I gave him and he bought parts I had already purchased and gave to him. He then lied and said he never received the part. When he finally gave my car back to me after me paying way too much to begin with, there were too many issues. He gave me the runaround about my air bags and seat belts, which he replaced the air bag, but did not fix the seat belts. To top it off, he gave me back a vehicle that overheats (which was not doing this before I gave it to him) and all my lights are on on the dash board. I had to pay out of pocket for a new thermostat, even though he had the money to get the part from the money I've been paying him. I would not recommend him, even to my worst enemy. He has cost me more money and time than needed. He was very rude, argumentative, and sexist. He tried playing me for a fool because a lot of people assume women don't know about mechanic and body repair work. He works on people's vehicles and not even registered to do so.
