Had a Jeep Liberty that belonged to a daughter of a friend attending that lost its transmission just before Christmas. The shop at 349 Jefferson did a great job with all levels of service as well as doing so at a fair price. Transmission work is never inexpensive but having a proper job done is worth the expense and I would highly recommend this location. Let them work for you and plan on being patient and give them ample time to get the work done.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic

This place is unprofessional & untrustworthy ..!!!! I was referred to go to this junk yard of a business. Had my car towed there and I towed it right out of there. It was my first and last time going there. We will NEVER return to this place. It s unfortunate, because at the end of the day, you want to trust the people and the service you re taking your car to. Not a good experience. Go to AAMCO Transmission. Absolutely professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Great place, honest people. Brad gave me a very fair price for maintenance work, and told me square when it wasn't worth it for me to fix some larger issues later on. 100% recommend!

Love Smitty's!! Always very helpful and they don't quote you with a bunch of parts that you don't actually need. Whenever I need anything done with my car this is the only place I go knowing I will have exceptional service and done right by honest people.

Great shop. AWESOME PEOPLE. Send customers here all the time... NEVER have any issues. Would RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE who needs automotive and body work.

This shop had my car for 2wks and nvr even touched it. then he had the nerves to try to double the price after we had the issue about him not doing anything to my car in 2wks. I took my car and my motor to another shop which had the job done in 4 dayz. DO NOT GO HERE TOTAL RIP OFF AND POOR COSTUMER SERVICE!!!

Worst garage ever seen, he swap the trans. Of my car and he keep the old trans. When I bring the two trans. I never buy a trans. From him !never told me what kind of trans. Oil he use on my car, charge almost 100 only for the oil, scamers !

My boyfriend took his ford explorer 2008 on 9/7/2017 with a transmission issue. And the owner told him,that to check the transmission. ,it will cost $80.And from there he wil see,what was going on,and what will be the cost.And if i agree with the price, he will start repairing it.But the following day he calls and said that maybe it could be the air compressor, but he wasn't sure if that was the problem.so he was going to put the transmission down,and see what was the problem.And from there he will start working on it. But he didn't said that the day before.SO MY POINT IS THAT THIS SHOP ,TAKES ADVANTAGE FROM THE PEOPLE. �MY OPINION DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP...IT'S A FRAUD.

They really foul nasty additude kept car for days didn t put stuff back went there less codes on he tried to tell me won t start everything I told him didn t write nothing on receipt and charge 73 for nothing knowing I told him what I need already and really disrespectful dirty place another shop fix what they took apart and left but charged me for

Not a helpful business. Bought a car from someone that that had a transmission replaced at this shop. Smitty's would not help to verify if they actually did the work. Would stay away from this shop.
