I was able to schedule an appointment easily online at the Pep Boys website. And reschedule it almost immediately, because I misread the calendar, so that was easy too. I opted in to text messages so I could get updates about my car's progress, and they were able to finish it well ahead of schedule, which was great. Despite the fact that I have an online account that correctly lists my name, somehow I got a bunch of texts with someone else's name on it, but it all worked out, so I'm not mad about it. I was surprised to learn that the retail side of this location had closed down over a year ago (and so were several other people who kept trying to go in to shop for parts). I'm glad the service department is still open, because it was a good experience.

Due to an oversight on my part I needed a vehicle inspected on very short notice before I traveled out of state. I called them and they told me bring it in and we can squeeze you in. Within less than an hour I was out the door and on my way. They were exceptional to work with and will definitely be going back for other service needed in the future!

Bob the lead mechanic was wonderful. He was patient, considerate, honored my coupon hat I had put in online before he even found my order that had been rescheduled. Most importantly to me he was transparent & communicated what was wrong & what he recommended should be done. I'm a bit of the girl you'd expect not knowing much about cars & have had extra bells & whistles tacked onto things unnecessarily, but Bob didn't take advantage of that which I really appreciate. He was able to show me clearly what was wrong & we came up with a plan. Reliable, trustworthy guys, reasonably priced; they have earned my trust for the future.

Overpriced, and completely messed up our brakes. Literally pierced our brake line when getting brakes and tires put on. Brake line broke while driving. They have incompetent workers, no one would address the issue. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They have unskilled workers and managers that are inept. They gave us a run around on helping fix the problem, had to call for two months straight and kept getting pushed off and told they'd call us. No one ever did. Still three months later and they haven't done a single thing about an issue that essentially could have killed us. Literally go anywhere else.

I brought my car there after being pulled over for a brake light out. Paul determined my car was fine. Did the paperwork. Amazing experience at the shop and Kim who answered the phone was super nice. They have earned a new customer!!

While the repair was great, they should remove the option to schedule your appointment online. I understand same-day requests may not be able to be honored. I booked my appointment online 3 days in advance and when I arrived the desk tech said that it would take a few hours. The service I required for my car does not take several hours. Dropped my vehicle off before the scheduled appointment time, vehicle wasn't ready until 10hrs later. I prob wouldn't go back here for maintenance but I am satisfied with the work they did on my car.

The situation with the company being understaffed and the computer system accepting appointments when they could not be fulfilled is an obvious problem. Fortunately, the service manager was able to suggest a workaround and the job was fulfilled the next day when I was able to drop the car off and leave it. With thousands of people coming across our border looking for work, jobs like this should not be vacant.

I got four new tires, an alignment, front and back brakes over the weekend. They took two days to do it, didn t provide me with updates of any kind. Then here we are fours days later and my brakes don t work. My vehicle is a 2021 and well maintained. There s no reason my brand new brakes on my two year old car should have a failed. Paid almost $1200 for just the brakes and alignment. Will update when Pep boys resolves this.

Pep Boys advertises a 120 point inspection including a CarMax report for $74.99. was charged $79.99 plus taxes and they forgot to give the CarMax report yesterday. Still waiting for it after calling about the report 4 hours ago.

I booked an appointment and ordered my tires online at night and they had them there by the afternoon. The gentleman at the service counter was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. They had my tires on in less than 2 hours, and I paid over $1000 less than I would have at another tire store - and got them put on a day sooner. I will definitely consider this place for my future service needs.

The only bad part of my pep boss experience is the amount of time it takes to do an oil change when you make an 8 am appointment. I was told my car would be ready between 3 and 4. I called at 5 and was told it was just finished. 9 hours for an oil change. Really?? Why make an appointment if they are going to take all day to do a simple standard service?

$700 repair, check engine light was back on in 3 miles. Took it back for NYS inspection and they tried to claim I needed brake fixes after 10 days earlier I just needed to reset the monitors.Total scam. Avoid at all costs

Got a good deal on tires for my car. Had an appointment for 11am but my car didn't go back until after 12. The guy doing my tires seemed to need to have a 5 minute conversation with his coworker in between every step though which made it take over 2 hours to swap out 4 tires. The guy at the front desk was great i will say. He had great customer service and was very thorough. Overall an ok experience just disappointed it took so long because of chatty cathy in the back

My wife was an hour from home when she punctured a tire and needed emergency repair. Despite pulling up to the shop before the tire went completely flat, she was refused any assistance whatsoever. I know it s by appointment, but seriously, Pep Boys? You can t make a little effort to assist a lady who s stranded at your shop on a cold winter day???

We had brake trouble on the weekend when our regular mechanic was closed. Pep Boys was able to get us in the same day and we had the car back within six hours! Great work!

The shop manager was very helpful and got my car in despite me making a mistake on my calendar and showing up a day early. He really could have turned me away, but he took me in anyway and the service was pretty quick to boot!

The team at Pep Boys had some challenges with inventory, scheduling, and staffing. (swamped by Black Friday Sales). They did everything they could to get new tires on my vehicle as expeditiously as possible.

Parking lot was an absolute mess in the snow. Couldn t see where curbs were located whatsoever bc it was so deep throughout the entire parking lot.Have had trouble here with people being very cold and unhelpful.

I made my appointment on line for a state inspection and would wait for the service to be completed. I received a call back from the shop explaining the situation with waiting for my car to be serviced. I decided to take a chance. Was there 10 minutes before opening, was the first in line, and my vehicle was ready within 30 minutes.

I took my vehicle in to get winter tires mounted. It took them more than 2 hours and 2 techs. After the service was complete it was dark and they parked my car far out in the parking lot, I assume so I couldn't see the damage they had done. 3 of the 4 tires mounted have the paint scratched off of them, and in one case there is a gouge in the wheel. I just got this car in August and it was in flawless condition. After I noticed the damage I called the store and tried to setup a time to come in. I work until 5 and the manager scoffed at me when I asked if I could come in right after, saying he wouldn't be there. I have since not been able to meet with the store manager due to him not being there. I am attaching pictures of the damage. This is absolutely unacceptable; both the damage done without anyone taking responsibility and not being able to get the manager to work with me to make something right.

Very disappointed. Made an appointment online and when arriving for the appointment was turned away. Wasted the entire day I could have found another shop. Was not allowed to ask why or given options of what to do with my vehicle. Not sure if this was homophobic ? But it definitely was rude. Would love a call to discuss with someone from PepBoys

Great service and friendly staff, the car had a problem with battery, took a next day appointment. Even though they were overbooked and short staffed, they still helped and provided the perfect service in a timely manner. Dropping off and picking up the car was a very smooth process.

My oil change service is excellent.The problem is that I have made an appointment and expected to wait there and get car oil change done in 1 hr. But I was told that I need to leave my car there (short of staff and will take longer time to be done). Because I will have a long trip the next day...therefore, I cannot reschedule this service. So, it leave me no choice and I need to ask favors/help from my friend for rides to be back and pick-up my car.

Bought 4 new tires from this place.1 week in low tire pressure light came on. I put air. Couple days needs air again. Talked to my mechanic he suggested corrosion on wheels needs to be sanded before installing the new tires(pep boys didn't do it). Went back and asked if someone can check the tires? was told manager is not here yet and will call me as soon as he comes in. Two days passed nothing. Went back and talked to the same guy and this time manager was there all I got is bring your car in 2 days and leave it with us for half a day( I have 2 jobs I need my car).Never going back there.
