I took my truck here a couple weeks ago to get a quote on a boost and exhaust leak I was having. They gave me a descriptive quote with different options I can take. They didn't seem hesitant on taking on a job with my rusty truck unlike some other shops. Tyler and Cole both updated me throughout the process and now my truck drives like new again, I definitely recommend and would come back here again.

Tyler Moriarty and his knowledgeable and professional crew at Moriarty Diesel performed a comprehensive evaluation of a marine diesel propulsion system on a boat my wife and I were considering. Tyler highly recommended by a marine surveyor who had previously worked with him provided us with extensive details on the maintenance and repair work that the engine required, information that we needed to negotiate the boat purchase. Tyler is a boater himself, and his deep familiarity with marine systems showed.The boat had been out of the water for a number of years, and we wanted the engine -- a 200 hp Volvo Penta to be evaluated as exhaustively as the boat itself. Tyler and his crew assessed the propulsion system on land first, and then joined the surveyor on the sea trial. Their troubleshooting expertise was impressive, and they uncovered a number of issues that the surveyor likely would not have found. In fact, their assessment of the engine and related components was so thorough that we insisted that Moriarty Diesel undertake the extensive maintenance and repair work required for the sale, including a second sea trial.In addition to their commitment to high-quality work, Tyler and his crew were a pleasure to work with, responding quickly and clearly to questions and always trying to stay on schedule. We recommend Moriarty Diesel without reservation.

I did not have work done here, but the shop is very roomy, bright, uncluttered, and techs giving it their all. My buddies truck was under the knife fir a starting issue. Beautiful shop. The showroom is awesome and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I do wonder where the name came from...Sherlock Holmes perhaps?

I own a late model diesel powered brush chipper. It has needed some professional attention a few times. I am so thankful for Moriarty Diesel they have literally kept families eating by keeping my machines running and producing at a high level. Brandon and the service team are very responsive and understand the turn around I need to get my machines making money again. Their work is top notch and customer service is awesome. If I could give them more stars I would. My Girlfriend and I had recently purchased an old school bus to remodel. We had some issues and initially took it to one of there competitors with a "bigger name". We had a horrible experience so called Moriarty and I can't say enough good things about these folks. My girlfriend was mainly dealing with them, and she isn't very experienced in what she was talking about, and they never once spoke down to her or we evenly remotely rude. They were so communicative, explained everything very well. Once the initial job was done, they even asked if they could do a couple other little things like lightbulbs and stuff. I truly cannot say enough good things. On top of all this, we were on a pretty tight schedule, and they managed to do the job and little odds and ends well before the deadline. If youre thinking about going somewhere else, don't. These guys are the real deal, and nice as can be. We 100% will be taking our bus and any future rigs to these guys. Incredible and they should be very proud of how they handle their business. We even brought them donuts when we picked up the bus, because they were truly so great to work with.

I drive and live in a Class A Motorhome. I have been doing this for 9 years. I have had problems while on the road and have only had 3 experiences that I would call Best in Service. Moriarity Diesel is one of them. Where I can't do the work myself, I am at the mercy of Big Truck or RV Service Centers. No one has outperformed Moriarity from continuous communication, to doing the job right the first time, to using high quality parts, to completing the job on time. I would/do highly recommend Moriarity Diesel to everyone I know. Please give them consideration for your next Truck/RV Service.

I recommend Moriarty Diesel. They have a knowledgeable and professional staff that is focused on customer service. Since they specialize in diesel vehicles, I trust that my pickup is in good hands while it s there. I also appreciate their comfortable waiting area for times when I don t have a ride and I need to wait for my truck.

Great customer service. They re 2 hours away from my house, but it was well worth the drive. I needed injectors installed for my 2012 Ram Cummins, and they took it in immediately. They were priced most affordable in the Syracuse area, and they truly have attention to detail. I generally never let anyone work on my stuff, but I didn t want to practice installing brand new injectors. .. Also, I was out of town for almost 2 weeks and they let me keep my truck there until I came back.

I had a oil temperature problem. Tyler worked 0n my truck himself. He thought it was a Radiator coolant problem He replaced my clutch fan with a cheap very loud aftermarket fan which my truck still overheats because it's a oil coolant problem. I paid over 1300 hundred Dollars in my truck does the same exact thing before I took it to him now he refuses to talk to me I called 4 times he would not speak to me and declined doing business with me.I'm at Ford now . I definitely do not recommend. Bad business all the way around. Smh. Ford dealer is it gets done right.

Had a major after treatmentroblem and after delivering in Rochester and having a few days decided to call Moriarty diesel and Tyler did a great job on my truck and even came in on Sat. and had to drive to Buffalo for part. Price for repair was very fair.Wouldrecommend them to anyone looking for a good shop.

This is the best diesel mechanic shop that I have ever been too and their customer service is above and beyond amazing. My band and I broke down while we were on tour on a Saturday. I called them and Tyler quickly met us at the shop. It turned out we had a blown head gasket along with a list of other problems. Tyler and his crew stayed to work on our bus all day and night. They pulled the entire engine out fixed all the problems and had it back to us in 2 days so we could finish the tour. We are so greatful for their honest and trustworthy service. Highly recommend taking your diesel there. Thank you guys again so much!

I was thoroughly impressed with the service we received here this week. We requested a quote for service after hours and received a call from Hannah as soon as they opened. From the first call to our truck being diagnosed and repaired was less than 48 hours for a tricky emissions problem. Tyler and Luke worked on our 2011 Duramax and kept us in the loop throughout the process. They even allowed us to pick up the truck on Saturday when they aren't technically open. These are people who care about their customers and take pride in their business. We will be lifelong customers

I recently purchased a used Sprinter van knowing it needed work. Well, as is usually the case with a used vehicle, it needed more work than I thought. Tyler and his crew did a fantastic job of reviving it and at a very fair price for the amount of work done. Hopefully I won't need any major work after all that was done but if i do I will definitely return to Moriarty Diesel.

I contacted Moriarty diesel After I had abad experience with a different diesel repair shop. This time before I took my vehicle in, I marked each component that would be coming off of my vehicle. These parts cost big bucks and I wanted to see if they were going to put everything that came off of my truck...in the back of my truck as specified. Not only was EVERY LITTLE PIECE accounted for..they went above and beyond to clean contact points and tape everything off as to protect sensors and plugs.. this would normally be the job of the customer after getting it home. From the first phone call to job completion I found that Moriarty diesel is hands down winner for this area. Good job Moriarty team!!

I brought my 6.4 powerstroke into Tyler to pretty much address all the weak points that they're known for . He did an awesome job . I also had new bed supports installed by morairty because the old ones were rusted out pretty bad and they did a great job on that as well. I will always bring my truck to them !

The shop is well layed out. Very upscale most diesel shops you feel like your going to sit in a oil spot or wet spot. this shop i feel like I entered a high end automobile dealer!

Visiting Rochester from Alaska, an injector failed on my elderly F-350. Scheduled to fly home in a few days, I called Moriarty in a panic and instead of saying no they made room for me in their busy shop. Sure, I had to pay extra for short-notice but that s fair dinkum. I was kept informed of the progress at every step. They could have taken easy advantage of me but instead, fixed my truck and it has never run better. I am not sure what other juju they sprinkled on it but it starts easier, too.

I've taken my Duramax to other shops and haven't gone back to them. So when I had to get a head gasket done on my 6.0 I figured I'd call mortuary diesel and see what they'd say about doing it. They knew what they were talking about and at a fair price. They did a professional job and I'll only be taking my trucks to mortiary diesel.

Took my 2005 duramax in for a head gasket. They were the ones that quoted me the least amount of time, and were very professional. No one else offered the same warranty that they offered either. Got the truck back and within a week it was leaking coolant from the thermostat housing. They took it back and replaced the gasket all under warrenty with no problems. I would reccomend coming here for any of your diesel repair needs.

Very impressed with the outcome of my class a diesel pusher rv. Runs so good now and I couldn't be happier with the work. Very enjoyable to drive with all the power back. Best diesel shop in town.

Most honest shop in Rochester. Anytime my Peterbilt needs a repair, Tyler is the guy I turn too. Honest work done for and honest rate. Glad I have found this awesome shop!
