I used to love this place but it s different. I went for a tire change recently and I have wheel locks. Instead of being asked where the wheel lock key was the guy rummaged through my whole car and took everything out of my trunk and even managed to unplug my subwoofer just to look for the wheel lock instead of taking 2 seconds to ask me where it is. Secondly after getting my new tires and a balance they gave me my car back completely off balance. Shaking at 40mph. I took my car back and they drove it around a lot and finally fixed it well unfortunately the balance was still off. Had to go to the dealer to get the tires rebalanced. Such a shame. This place used to be top notch. Employees even showed up late to open the shop. Avoid this one. I spent $900 this day for multiple things and they still managed to mess up the most simple part of it.

Do yourself a favor and do not take your car here. The manager can be over zealous about minuscule issues. I tried to work with the manager even contacted supervisor and no one could empathize with me regarding the issue. All in all a real player never gets played you guys lost a frequent client. Will be leaving a more detailed reviews on YouTube, Redditt and BBB. I ll be sure to steer a few customers away from this place.

Guys were great at Monro ! They got me right in same day, brakes and rotors done very quickly. Communication was great - dropped my car off less than 2 hours it was ready ! Thank you guys !

I'm very happy with the services provided by the crew at Monro. Al the store manager called me dnd let me know the problems and have me vehicle repair the very next day. Most places are over charging people for work but not this location and they allow you to bring your own parts if needed

Fat guy working on my car stole my old iPhone out of my car!! Be careful leaving your car there they ll rummage through your car to see if there s something valuable!! Working with Corporate to assist on this issue

Wait time due to only having one inspector but I didn t mind since I had the day off. Things seemed to flow smoothly and still got out in what seemed like a timely manner. And I kept hearing from other customers it s not normally that busy and people are serviced much faster than I was/customers seemed to be those who had visited frequently and were happy with the business. Staff was kind.

Sheldon got my car in on very short notice and late in the day, provided a diagnosis, brought in the proper parts and got me back on the road same day. He did an EXCELLENT job! I was very pleasantly surprised by this when another shop that I have been using for a long time turned down this exhaust repair. I would definitely use their services again in the future!

The store I had made an appointment at had no stickers, I panicked because it was the last day to get my inspection. I called Sheldon at the Stone Rd store and he said bring it in! I drive right over and he and his tech inspected my car and I was on my way! Very appreciative for the service I was given! I ll be back!

I brought my car in today, for an exhaust issue, and I just have to rave about the excellent customer service that I received! Sheldon, Randall and Fred were all so friendly, courteous and professional...and I am very pleased with the end result! My husband and I have brought our vehicles there in the past, and will continue to do so. I highly recommend them!!

Sheldon gave awesome service, my car ended up being unfixable, but he did everything he could to try and get it going again. Let me hang out for 2 hours while waiting for the tow truck, and kept the energy light and comedic to help keep my stress down. Definitely coming back when I get a new car, and highly suggest Monro to anyone that wants to keep their car going before it busts like mine

Found myself in a pinch when my power steering went out, and this shop got me in right away to take care of it! Excellent customer service from Sheldon and the rest of the crew, who took the time to show me under the vehicle and explain what went wrong, and even drew me a diagram to talk me through the hydraulics system. Highly recommend.

My car was in pretty terrible shape and I needed to get it fixed asap as I was traveling the next day. They took the time to make me a priority and Sheldon was even able to find better deals for me. He took the time to make my needs a priority while still managing to do the same for other customers in building. I was there pretty much all day due to all the work that needed to be done. He asked me more than once if I was comfortable, if I needed anything, and apologized for the wait (even though it was caused by my lack of keeping up with maintenance on my vehicle). Sheldon is great, made me feel very welcome as I am new to the area, I definitely found my place to go for all my vehicle needs. The mechanic was also super friendly but I didn't catch is name! Anyway thanks monro auto service I will see you in 3000 miles!

Have had my vehicle serviced there for the past 2 years. Fred and Sheldon were Very helpful and understanding. A job that was originally going to take over 3 hours to fix and cost over $400, they managed to fix in 10 minutes free of charge. We need more honest, helpful, and understanding people such as them.

These guys are awesome! Got an appointment super quick and they were fast and friendly. The first time I got an oil change without being told I need thousands of dollars of work done to my vehicle! My new home for car work! Thanks guys

I had an Appt this am for 10AM my car was taken right in and I was in and out. The manager Sheldon was super polite and honestly super amazing. Another mechanic I spoke to was also very nice to speak to as well. Will come back just from the great customer experience alone!!

My fiance was previously overcharged at another location in Chili. However, this location did a great job in a timely fashion and even gave is a discount after we explained what had happened at the other location. I would recommend this location to anyone very fair, friendly,and great customer service.

Dan the assistant manager was absolutely wonderful. I got my car inspected in a very timely manner. It was recommended that I get new rotors, and they did them very quickly for me. He took the time to show me the old rotors, which were really rusty and definitely needed to be replaced. I would recommend Monroe Auto Service to anybody. I will definitely be going back there.

I was overdue for an oil change and was able to get in on Memorial Day. I asked Sheldon (the manager) to peek at my breaks. Sure enough, they needed new pads. With only 2 people working and a full schedule, the guys got it all done done in 2 hours. On a holiday! Great place.

I had come in for an oil change and came out a satisfied customer. As I sat there waiting for service to be completed, I found Dustin to have superb people skills. He was very informative, knowledgeable, and kind to the customers he handled including myself. A very positive man. His mechanic did a great job also and too was very pleasant. Serving Monroe Muffler proud! Thanks guys!

Dan F. was very friendly and easy going when I took my car into their shop. He was honest about my service options, and offered helpful recommendations that would save me money. I highly recommend using Dan and this shop. I'll definitely use them again the next time I need maintenance on my car.

Never knew that my control arm was rusting off! Leo identified and helped fixed the problem. The manager Fred was super helpful as well. Great shop and will continue to bring my vehicle here. Very happy with service I received.

Sat 7/31/2021 - once again awesome service; thanks to Sheldon and team for solving a troublesome (and dangerous!!) brake situation - had air in the line and brakes were spongy. He recommended brake flush/fill, did job on Sat as promised, bled all the air out, and brakes work soooo much better now. I even got to use the $25 July coupon. So kudos to the Stone Rd Store and Sat Mgr Sheldon - another satisfied customer. And no - I'm not getting paid for this nice writeup......if the business does a nice job, is polite, and the timing/price is fair, recognize that business and tell a friend.

Customer service is above and beyond!! Tony and his entire staff are awesome. They really went the extra mile to fix my car and explained step by step what their prices and procedures were. I am not a "car" person and Tony used layman's terms to explain my repair needs. I am so glad I stopped in and I will definitely recommend this shop to others.

Monro Mufflers always seems to come thru for me. I got an inspection and was in and out. Made an appointment for another car, same day, no problem. They've always been honest and offer discounts wherever they can. I have not had any problems with my cars after having them serviced at Monro. I would recommend them for any of your car needs.

Dave and Dan are great! They have been super helpful and accommodating while getting my car ready for NYS inspection. They have given tips on extending the life of my car, an 04 cavalier, and have saved me a ton of money. I ve been going to the Stone rd location exclusively, even though there are garages closer to where I live in downtown Rochester because of the excellent service I get every time I go. These guys are amazing!

Great service... Bob there is awesome! Had an oil change scheduled... but Chevy updated to a special oil they didn't have... he called around to other locations and had them run the right oil over for me and the other Cruze who was next. Keep up the great work (and hope the ankle is feeling better!)!
