Modified Installations is in a class of its own as Jim and his wife Melanie own this family owned business that is run with old school values and customer support while offering limitless services that will tailor to your vehicle s needs no matter how big or small the project might be. My experience with this business is a 5 star rating because I ve received top notch customer care throughput my entire installation on my 2021 Jeep Rubicon. Jim was very accommodating & flexible with appointment times and the items I had shipped to his store from Extreme Terrain. Jim kept me updated on my vehicle s progress and was happy to provide me with a curtesy ride back to his shop for pick up. Price was fair. He completed 4 jobs for me all in one day, ready on the next! I recommend modified installations to all Jeep customers looking for a trusted and skilled mechanic to modify their vehicles. Easily earned 5 stars. Thanks again to Jim & Melanie!

I stumbled upon this shop through a Google search, attracted by its top ratings and proximity to my home. Upon contacting them, Jim promptly scheduled an appointment for the next day.During our meeting, I detailed my desires for my 2014 Ford Focus SE Hatchback. Despite its age, Jim treated both me and my car with respect, attentively listening to my requests. I sought to enhance it with high-power USB ports, remote start capabilities, key programming, and front and rear dashcams. Additionally, I wanted the same dashcams installed in my 2023 Ford Bronco Sports.Jim offered a fair quote and efficiently completed the work on both vehicles the following week. His craftsmanship was impeccable, and his demeanour was friendly throughout the process. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and the overall experience. I wholeheartedly endorse his shop and look forward to entrusting him with future upgrades.

I did a google search for window tinting near me. Modified came up. I had to call as a website was not attached to my search. I spoke to the owner Jim directly. I wasn t exactly sure what I wanted so he invited me down to discuss my options. Jim was extremely knowledgeable, insightful and so easy to work with. My job was inconsequential in the grand scheme of things but he made me feel like I was his only customer. Car looks fantastic and it was done quickly. Couldn t be more pleased with my experience and I highly recommend him and his team with any of your projects!

Jim was heaven sent!!!! Very attentive to my needs. I had to have an updated stereo system install in my Jeep by the end of this week. I went to several places and was quoted outrageous prices and they couldn't install until April.I found MODIFIED on Google and this is when I met Jim, a true angel with the true understanding of customer service and satisfaction. Plus, extremely knowledgeable. Installed my stereo system in less than 30 minutes and half the cost!!!!I give him a 10!

Took my Highlander in for usb replacement after dealership tried to make me pay out the nose for something that should have been included in warranty. They were able to repair it without replacement and so far it has been working. It may need replacement down the road, but for now it is holding its own. Staff is kind and courteous, and explains repair/issue in detail. Would recommend!

Called to get quoted for a subwoofer install into my truck. They set up an appointment to quote the job in person. At my appointment they were very friendly and helpful. Not only was the price significantly better than other shops, they were able to start the job right then. I highly recommend for any car customization or repair needs.

Spectacular service. Successfully completed a very complex job with my CarPlay system and at a tremendously good price. Jimmy was courteous and highly professional. I can t recommend this place enough, and would encourage anyone looking for installations to come here.

Was referred to Modified by my parents, they said they were able to get in super quick for a remote starter installation as a gift for my brother. I called them inquiring about a remote starter for my wife s car and they were very friendly and helpful, the price was nearly $100 less expensive than the cheapest option elsewhere (dealer, chain stores, local garages, etc.), and they got me in 2 days later, it was done before noon the next day. Works perfectly, gave my wife fobs with additional functions no extra charge. Will return for any future needs. 12 out of 10 for both quality of services and excellent customer service. Thanks Jimmy and team!

So glad I went to them. I went in for a bad remote start and I called before I went and they were so helpful right from the jump. They were so nice at explaining what the problem was and they even helped me with a few of the other issues I'd been putting off with the car for years. I would definitely spend money with them again !

I had a great first experience here!!I googled "dashcam install" and this place popped up amongst others. I called around and decided to choose this place which I am very happy I did! I came to get a dashcam installed and they were done in a hour & a half. Great pricing too!They also went above and beyond to clear a sensor on my car as well! Really appreciated that :) Thank you Modified Installations!

I took my Jeep to them for camera and radio repair. I am retired and on limited income. The quote that Jim gave me, was beyond my expectations. They really do treat people like family . They are wonderful people and work within and probably below your budget. I would strongly suggest if you have any issues with your vehicle, or you want to modify it, that you call them !! I am so glad I found these people. I feel like I expanded my family.

I originally sent an inquiry on their website on October 17th regarding a remote start. I got a call back the same day only a few hours after sending the inquiry. During our phone call I was informed of the pricing, the timeline, and additional information that I didn't even think to ask. I advised that I would think about it and was told that even if we didn't use the service through them, I could always call back to ask questions regarding any products or services from another company. I called back the following day and there happened to be an opening for later that afternoon. The timing they gave us of when it would be done was spot on. All of the staff we interacted with was very friendly and informative and I would recommend them to anyone! Very knowledgeable and clearly have a passion for what they do!

I've had two trucks lifted by Jim, have to say it's been great doing business. He knows what he's doing it's as simple as that, and does it fast, also works around your schedule too. Always recommends the safest options and makes sure that your truck or vehicle is modified correctly and done the right way. Definitely your go to shop up here in NY glad i found out about them. Great guys all around the shop as well!

Paul was literally no less than amazing! I was giving a remote start for a Christmas present and due to poor planning on my part I needed same day service. He originally quoted me the next day, however he told me I could bring it that afternoon so it was the first on the do to list the next day. So I brought it in around 1:30pm that same day. Paul, instantly, was very welcoming and extremely informative. My model vehicle had a manufacturer lock on the starter and Paul was able to let me know my options without trying to oversell me. After talking for a short while he was able to service my vehicle that very same day! He even took my vehicle over to the dealership to get the lock removed instead of having me do it! How sweet! I can go on and on! It was legit one of the best experiences I have had in automotive service! Definitely go to him!!

I m very impressed with Modified Installations. They did fantastic work on my C4 Corvette installing a brand new sound system & replacing the motors on my headlights. I m so glad I found them. I ll be sharing their info around & be using them again in the future!

Little pricey but they got the job done last minutes so I can t complain. definitely would recommend to anyone thinking about going to Best Buy go here instead.
