Great customer service! Haley was exceptional in making sure I felt welcomed the moment I walked through the door. I was nervous about purchasing a new car, but the sales representative Christina was very patient and helped find me the perfect Tiguan! Great customer service will definitely be buying here from now on with all my future car purchases!

Katie was amazing to work with in ensuring my car would be safe and reliable to drive for a long trip quickly coming up. She worked with me to accommodate my work schedule. She kept me updated throughout the day and notified me of any other concerns as they came up. I really enjoyed working with her and appreciate all of her help. Noah is also friendly and helpful as always whenever we get the chance to interact with him.

Christina was very helpful with the purchase of my CPO Golf Alltrack. She made sure to explain available extended warranties without being pushy. Worked to help me get the second set of keys when one of them was not able to be found. Went above and beyond in helping to correct an issue with insurance. Happy to work with her!

My entire experience was fantastic! Christina Young was amazing and listened to exactly what I was looking for and I walked out of the dealership in less than 40 with my perfect SUV. Going into another family owned dealership that I was previously working with for 12 years with 4 leases and 2 financed vehicles would easily take close to 2 hours with all the back and forth, listening to their pitches for additional services, etc. This experience was beyond smooth and like nothing else I had ever experienced.

The sales team is okay. The service team, however, completely brings the score down from a solid 4 stars to 1 star. We bought a used car from this dealership last year and there was an issue with it. That's not a big deal in and of itself, but trying to get a hold of the service department may as well be impossible. If you call, expect to be ignored. Today I called the service department 5 times, with no answer. I had to call the sales department and have the receptionist transfer me to service, and even then they ignored my call. The sales receptionist had to physically walk over to the service department for them to answer the phone.After dropping the car off the first time, instead of doing what I asked, the service team replaced my battery. Did that fix my issue? Kinda. The car would start and run and work. That lasted all of about 2 months before the battery was dead again, and this time (after a lot of badgering from me) the service team decided to address the issue I mentioned the first time, and lo and behold that was the problem.The issue was a recall problem from 2020. Ide sold me a vehicle with an open recall and then blatantly ignored my request to fix it until I annoyed the service team enough to actually look into it properly. On top of that, the vehicle they sold me didn't have a major service milestone performed on it, and didn't bother to tell me.So if you're looking to just buy a car and then have no service done on it, I say this is the place for you. If you want the dealership you bought your car from to actually maintain your car for you, stay well away from this place.

The car buying experience was so easy. The salesman Spencer was very accommodating, listened to what I needed, and helped me pick the perfect vehicle. Joe and Evan the sales managers were just as easy to speak with. What a great place!

The service team is TOP TIER. Katie Jim and Noah are always super nice and friendly. Easy scheduling always in and out! Sales team is also GREAT super easy to work with. Would definitely recommend.

I did not purchase my vehicle form Ide but given the the repair that needed to be done I felt I needed to bring to a VW dealership. I was first told on Tuesday it would be next Thursday when the repair would be finished, I get a call the next Wednesday and I was thinking before I answered they are finished. I was told they haven't started the repair and were missing parts. They had one part they could do until they had the part they needed so I could drive my car. I said go ahead as long as it's safe. I was able to drive it for 3 days before check engine light came back on again. I have not gotten a response since then to advise if they have received the needed part to fix my car.

My steering column cover was not put back together correctly, and now my seat won't adjust, handle is off the seat completely. None of this was broken before and it will be impossible to fix without having to waste time bringing the car back while missing work. Customer service was not super friendly. Service department doesn't answer the phone or call back after leaving messages. The shuttle driver was super lost and took a very long time to take me back to my car. An east warranty claim has become a total headache.

The service at Ide Volkswagen is exceptional. While I didn t purchase my current vehicle there, I will only take it there for service. I don t know cars so knowing I m working with people I can trust is priceless to me. And when it does come time to purchase my next vehicle, it will be from there.

I took down my previous one star review due to the service team reaching out claiming it wasn't fair. After another inexcusable blunder on their end (leaving loose parts under the hood), here is a more comprehensive review:One day, the key in my VW wouldn't turn. Had it towed to Ide. The part they needed to fix had to be sourced in Germany with a wait time. They said it should be in-house in 3 weeks. Approximately 3.5 weeks later, I called for updates. After way too much phone tag, I learned the vehicle was ready to pick-up.As soon as I drove it off the lot, there was a plethora of issues that were caused by sloppy reassembly. The steering wheel was not properly affixed, the audio on the dash was dead, etc. This being my daily driver, I just accepted it.The car ran for about a month and then wouldn't start again. Issue, the immobilizer unit. I had it towed back to Ide where they accepted responsibility for the sloppy assembly but claimed the immobilizer was a separate issue.After getting the sloppy assembly fixed, I had the immobilizer fixed elsewhere. BUT then the key wouldn't turn again.Towing it back to Ide, they said the parts were under warranty. After another 3.5 weeks with plenty of phone tag, I picked the car up again. The battery was stone dead. I gave they keys back to the attendant and called in the morning. That's when I left the first 1-star review that the service manager called me about, using personal details about my job to try to get a favorable response from me. To be fair, I wanted to help them out and understand mistakes, and batteries can die quickly in NY, so I did.After replacing the new battery, I was finally able to drive it away.Here's why I'm putting this review up: I drove it away and noticed an unusual amount of rattling coming from the hood. There were parts in the trunk that I had left there. Those parts (which included windshield wipers and other external items) had been moved and placed in the hood of the bloody car. There was no reason for their tech to be moving parts in the trunk and certainly no reason to leave them under the hood. Joke? Tech was high? I don't know or care at this point.If you are ever unfortunate enough to need VW repairs, take your car to literally anyone else.Before a snarky Ide rep replies, make sure your legal department knows that I know what the word "discovery" means. I spent a lot of money with you and have documentation.

For this service, tires were rotated. The next day, "low pressure" message showed up. When I checked the tire pressure, it was 26 psi for all 4 tires. It seems that either the tech did not check the tire pressure or my 4 tires have leak. I filled up my tires to 39 psi and will be monitoring. Just create extra work and anxiety. It is very frustrating! This happened one other time too.

Ignition Switch recall. My service rep was Ty Shelton. He is professional, kind, patient. He helped me to fix my control panel on my dashboard. After the repair was completed. I consider him to be an asset to The Ide Volkswagon Team.Thank you,Stella Marie Marano

I had a flat tire. They were unable to patch it and save it so I needed a new replacement tire. The turn around time was 3 hours for delivery for a new tire or I could have come back the next day. I explained that I needed to have the repair done same day due to personal issues (appointment and winter travel for the holidays). Someone drove out to personally pick up the tire and install it in less than 2 hours. Same day. THAT S service.

Almost 48 hours for a software update. Mechanics did not secure "frunk lid" which partially opened on expressway, scary! Service department needs to improve customer communication, very frustrating to have to call 4-5 times and get VM EVERY time. We will consider another VW dealer for service and purchase. Don't feel good about recommending this dealership when asked about our history

I knew what car I wanted to buy - that car was found and delivered. I knew my price limit - that limit was not exceeded. I was never pressed to buy a more expensive vehicle. David respected my request, was patient while I was on Business/vacation in North Carolina and even showed up while he was on vacation for the delivery and closing. In short - this was the best encounter I have ever had with any car salesman.

The service itself was great and very efficient. I took the two stars off for the communication. I was trying to schedule service by calling the service department directly. I could not get a hold of anyone (called numerous times) and even left a voice mail and did not get a call back. So I ended up booking the service online. At the end it asked if I wanted to be contacted about my upcoming appt which I stated Yes because I needed to understand how long it might take to coordinate meetings I had for work that day. I never received a call.

Had a non Volkswagen vehicle that had check engine light on but other places including the place I bought it from could t tell me what was wrong after already spending 1500$ to solve the problem.. IDE service manager Joe Fantauzo and his crew gave me a free inspection and diagnostic check.. gave me the possible problems and was able to get it fixed.. Great place great service great cars and most all vrs at people.. thanks IDE!

I have nothing but good things to say about this Dealer. Last Wednesday, a car I had been looking for for a while went up for sale at a great price. I called them immediately and asked if I could come look at it the next day. (I live out near the Albany area so its about a 3 and a half hour drive) They set up an appointment with me for 1 pm the following day. I drove out first thing in the morning and when I got there the car was right out front waiting for me, ready to go!The gentleman at the dealership that I worked with was Nick Weis. This was my very first car purchase by myself so I was a bit nervous however, Nick was one of the nicest guys I've ever met and he helped me the whole way and was super patient. In fact, every single person at that dealer was exceptionally nice and friendly. They offered me a great price for my car and took care of everything ( I still had money left on my car). Nick made sure that I had the smoothest possible experience and I could not be any happier!I absolutely love the car and I am so excited for all the adventures to come!Thank you so much Nick and Ide! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car

Please publish what I said in your survey. I won t ever own another VW and this is my first! New rotors needed on a 2023 VW Atlas probably due to tires being overly inflated since I picked up BRAND NEW! They were at 41 PSI cold and temps near 45 (11/6/23). I m not a mechanic, and I don t ride my brakes hard, but I need rotors all around due to pad transfer per Service Mgr, and hot spots per Service Tech. Hopefully someone reads this and heeds my warning!
