Extremely Friendly customer service for sure but I had to change my review unfortunately because I had my car in for 2 days for some front end work,brakes and oil change done and when it was finished there was a coolant leak and there was never one prior as the mechanic also said and when I tried to address it the owner was nice but the mechanic said there was NO way it could have happened there and wouldn't put it on the lift to look to see where it was leaking so now I am stuck with another issue and I understand accidents happen but it is how you look into it and try to help the customer after spending $1,140 of work! Not cool and disappointed to be fair.

I called with a problem after arriving back from a long trip. They took my car immediately and when they couldn t find the problem they were very accommodating and took the car back out until they heard the noise I had described. They had it fixed and ready to go by the end of the day. Always a pleasure dealing with them.

Once again, nothing but the best from these guys! The ladies that answer the phones are nothing but kind and welcoming, and the mechanics are professionals. If you need something done, they will advise you of it and they are up front and honest about price. Oh and they have reasonable prices. Not only are they reasonable, but professional. They refused to throw possible bad work under the bus and simply get things fixed.

I was looking for a place to get several things on my car taken care of. After searching online, I came across Howard Road Garage. I read the reviews and thought I would give them a try. The person I spoke with was Sharon. She was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I received a call from Steve, who worked on my car. He went into detail what the car needed and quoted me a price. From past experience I knew this price was fair. They completed the work faster than I thought it would take. It s great to know that there are still places that are friendly, honest, with fair prices, very rare these days. This will be the only place I will take my car going forward, and definitely recommend them to anyone needing auto work done.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

I stopped by the Howard Road Garage for the first time for an inspection and I was thoroughly impressed! I've been on the lookout for a good local/family owned shop for some time and was truly thrilled with them.From the moment I made the first call, to the time I cashed out, I practically felt like family. Really kind, informative and down to earth people. A gentleman walked in while I was there with some brake issues, asking if they may be able to help out even though he hadn't had the opportunity to make an appointment, and they applied the same level of care and friendliness.That was one strong first impression. I'll be happy to take my car here from now on.3/27/2024 update:2 years and a number of visits later, I stand by my original review. Great shop, great people. I highly recommend Howard Road Garage.

They did a fantastic job on my vehicle, I needed control arms ball joints and sway bar done along with an inspection.They had the job done in 2 days and wayy under my predicted budget!

I had a complete set of rear brakes put on just two years ago. Just took it to another garage that I trust and they said it was down metal to metal. I doubt I put 5000 miles on the car since I had the brakes done. Also when I had the car in they told me that the battery was weak and needed to be replaced. Well it's the same battery that was in there when I bought the car new and it's still working fine after 10 years. I will never do business with them again and I will tell people to stay clear of them.

I've been taking my vehicle there for a few years now. These folks are as honest as they come. That's why I keep going there. Excellent service! Mandy and Sharon very nice and helpful in the office.

I have to say this is the best garage I have ever worked with. I have the best experience every time. You know when they give you an estimate its an honest one. They are super friendly and extremely fast. They go above and beyond all the time to take care of their customers. The owners are top notch. They will have my business for a long time. I cannot say enough good things about them.

This shop does great work and they are courteous and I think affordable. Fair work estimates. They are not big so they take pride in making your car safe for the road. The ladies in the office are always smiling and friendly.

Howard Road Garage is the BEST!!!! I broke down in a high traffic area in the pouring rain and was just having a horrible morning! I had my car towed here and got taken care of by a great staff immediately. They checked my car out and had answers for me very quickly. Very reasonably priced and got my car fixed incredibly fast. overall a wonderful experience that started very bad for me. So happy to be able support a local family business and receive amazing service! would recommend to anyone!

I went for a NYS inspection and a tire repair. The work took about 1/2 hour. The folks at the service desk were friendly and the work completed to my satisfaction. I would recommend this garage over any dealership.

The team at Howard Rd Garage stepped up on 10/12/22. We had a part ordered then found out the garage we were going to could not repair due to the newer ac system. Called over to Howard Rd Garage and they stepped right up. Repaired the truck so it was driveable. Then we find out the part ordered from Napa was damaged. New one ordered, Napa would not cover the cost or install of their mistake. The garage took wonderful care of us, tried to get napa to cover second install. When they would not they did not charge us for second labor. They did not have to do that. Stand up people, great business and amazing customer service. Will recommend them and go back for sure! I recently took my car in to have the AC repaired and to address the check engine light. I couldn't have been more impressed with the service that I received at Howard Road Garage. They took the time to actually diagnose both issues prior to doing the repairs ... unlike another local garage that headed down the "trial and error" path at my expense. Everyone that I interacted with at Howard Road Garage (Sharon, Mandy, and Ski) was kind, friendly, helpful, and very knowledgable. They kept me informed, charged a reasonable rate, and did the repairs in a timely manner. Also, when the check engine light came back on a few weeks later and then went off again the day I was taking it back to the garage to have it looked at, they didn't charge me for checking the error code again. The light came on and then went off because I hadn't completely closed the gas cap the last time I filled the tank with gas. They even provided me with the service bulletin that showed that this is a known flaw for my car s make/model, and they made sure I understood the diagram that displayed the proper alignment for a completely closed gas cap. These are fair and honest people, and I won t hesitate to take my car back for regular maintenance and repairs in the future.Service: A/C system repair

Small family owned shop that even for their size can handle any big job you throw at them. Everything from oil changes to brake jobs are done in a timely manner and at a surprisingly low price but still with quality work. Everyone is very friendly and easy to work with. You tell them exactly what you want done and they do it. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone with any sort of car troubles.

We are new to the area and we re having problems with one of our cars. We took the car there for them to do what we thought needed to be done. We thought it was the starter and that was what it was. Work done quickly and professionally and very friendly people. Two weeks later same car and similar issue. It was the alternator this time. Same great service, professionalism, and friendliness. This is where we will be taking our vehicles from now on.

I went in as an emergency, they took me in, and I was thankful, but I asked that if the car needed too many repairs to let me know, so I didn't have to waste money. They just fixed the car right away, didn't even look at it (they didn't have time, they said) 2 days later I was junking the car. Wasted almost $500 in repairs needlessly! They were friendly, but obviously didn't hear to my needs. I live on a fixed income, they WILL NOT have my business ever again.

Had a spark plug blow out on my F-150 while traveling, happened to be near Howard Road Garage. They got me in first thing and were able to fix the issue. Kind people and good service. Would recommend.

I walked in to see if there were available to fix my flat tire, they took the keys from me and got me in right away. I so appreciate them. Great customer service for sure. Highly recommended this place.

Sharon, Ski and the crew at Howard Road Garage are awesome! We have many company vehicles that they service for us, as well as my personal vehicles. They are the best all around. If you need a reliable place to service your vehicles --this is the place to be. Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was my first time here and under unfortunate circumstances but this place really helped make the situation better. It is obvious they really care about their customers and take pride in their work. I chose to go here over getting my repair done at the dealer thanks to a recommendation. So glad I did!!

Nothing but good things to say about this place! Far better than Monro! 2 things you NEVER skimp on, your health (you only have one life), and your car maintenance (cheap work can kill you). Good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good.
