I've seen the techs that work here turn out tons of excellent work, which is why I decided to trust this shop with my repair. Communication was piss poor from both the shop to us, and the shop to our insurer (they had no idea where the vehicle was in the repair or supplement process). That repair process ended up taking half a year, causing major transportation inconveniences, vehicle was given back to us incomplete (masking left on for months damaging paint when removed, trim not properly installed and flying off during drives, car was dirty AF), and it ended up totalling because they had messed with CVT transmission fluid levels (probably contents too) - while concealing that from the estimate of record, which grenaded the transmission and got related to the loss resulting in further transportation inconveniences... This headache lasted almost a year for us. I regret not getting a lawyer involved.If Kevin still works up front and/or Andy still manages this place I would only consider recommending this shop to someone with which I had a vendetta.

Incredibly appreciative of Nick Cropsey and the entire team at Gerber Collision E Ridge Road! Nick was able to get my vehicle in and out swiftly and painlessly. I hope I never have to use their services again, but if I do I know they ll take care of me!

Great work and service. They went above and beyond normal service to make me happy. The people are wonderful. Most important is that did the repair in the lead time that was quoted. Got me in three weeks after my accident, quicker than any other collision shop I called.

Called and scheduled an appointment about a month out to have a car repaired. Gave the necessary information and was told I didn't have to do anything else. Got here and was told there was nothing in the system. The lady at the front desk was less than helpful and kept repeating the same thing to me over and over like I was lying. Even after I pulled up proof that I spoke with someone that day when the appointment was made from their business. When asked for an estimate of when they will be able to get the car in I was given a vague date of July depending on parts after I have advised them there were issues happening. I will not be using them in the future.

I chose this Collision shop because they were on the All State list of partner shops and let me tell you that was to worst mistake ever. I had my vehicle towed to the shop on June 1st of 2023. They told when I dropped the vehicle off that I would be getting updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays but I guess they forgot to call or text me for the first month of having my truck. I've only had a couple accidents in my 33 year of driving so I don't know a lot of collision shops but I can stay I don't think anyone should take their vehicle here but if you do, don't not allow KEVIN to be your rep. He is a very dishonest person and is not to be trusted. Kevin keep telling me that my car was being worked on but I didn't believe him so I did a surprise visit and sure enough my vehicle had not been touched for over a month. I finally got my vehicle back on August 8th and one of the rear wheel sensors was bad when the vehicle was hit. The experience her was horrible and I don't recommend anyone to come here!!!!

Brought my kia in for repair after break in. Shop communicated that parts not on back order and would be able to complete approximately one week. Last verbal communication initiated by shop and the text alerts very ambiguous. Several calls initiated by me for updates. 3 weeks later work completed, BUT 5 minutes before pick up a call from shop...was the windshield broken when I dropped it off? Uhm No!! Lame excuse given. Picked up car and floor mats missing. Apparently, can't take information down correctly to send repair workers to replace windshield... Communication definitely not good at this location. Glad this experience is done and over with.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto glass repair

Initially had an unpleasant experience with Gerber in this location but Andy (the GM) and the team collectively all worked together to turn my experience into a pleasant one. Repairs definitely took a lot longer than I expected and had to go back to have them fix my AC after they finished and returned my truck but they prioritized and acted with a sense of urgency and it definitely shows how hard they work to make things right even though there were errors and mistakes made in the beginning. Overall, very impressed with their level of professionalism and their dedication to customer service. Would recommend them to others and I won't even hesitate to use them again in the future despite what happened in the beginning.Services: Transmission, Painting, Auto glass repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Air conditioning

I was in car accident my vehicle was hit by another driver. Door panel was replaced but there was some kind of glass film on my windshield s, I took it back to have them clean it. I go back to see, and it's still showing some figures written on right passenger side through my window. Shows me they did take good care my care while they were supposing doing repairs. And I think most of them is just goofing off, and learning how to get the job done cheap as possible or quick so they can get paid. I don't think they really gave me my front wheel alignment , that was due to accident either.

My wife's vehicle is currently in the shop at Gerber. She had to wait 2 months for an appointment for the work. We delivered the car at the appointed time which was 3 days ago. They have not started to work on the car. The work was supposed to be complete tomorrow. Now it won't be complete until sometime next week. Why would Gerber not have just rescheduled the work? This is a terribly managed outfit. I would not recommend them at all.Response to owner-please send me a direct message with your contact info and then we can talk. I recently took my car in to have some body work done. Everyone I spoke to from the time I dropped my car off to the time I picked it up could not have been nicer or more professional . I am very happy with the work they did, in addition to how great the inside looked. I also was able to take advantage of their offer to get a ride home when I dropped the car off. I would definitely recommend them, as I also went there on a recommendation.Service: Painting

Quick and easy! I was rear ended and I had my car back 2 days after the parts came in. Everyone was very friendly and easy to work with, and they pretty much took care of everything. Major bonus, they detailed the entire interior of my car! It hasn't looked this good since the day I first got it (black interior and a white haired dog... doesn't mix well). Would highly recommend!

I'm not too happy with service. I made an appointment to get car fixed. They got me in quickly a month ago. They took pictures and said will be in touch. The only communication was me calling them to see the progress. All I was told the first time I called was that the part was on back order. I waited and waited to hear from them. I reached out twice and both times was told that the person who was handling my car would call me back. I have yet to hear anything. I have decided to go elsewhere. Should not be that difficult to reach out to me especially when I am the customer, and I'm trying to give you business.

I had a great experience at Nu Look Collision in Irondequoit. The repair work was of the highest quality, the cost was fair and reasonable, and the work was done in a very short time period (2 days). They also did a great job detailing my car as part of completing the repair. Nu Look has earned my car body repair business going forward!

Can't say enough good things about Gerber so far. Matt at the Gates location is especially helpful and knowledgeable. The job is not complete as I write this review, but if their work is a quarter-good as the service, the repair will be perfection.

Incredible customer service. Quick, quality work in helping provide a cost-effective solution for fixing my car. As a customer, I felt cared for and not just a person to be pressured into taking the most expensive option in fixing my car. I will go no where else for body shop work and will be highly recommending them to others.

I brought my vehicle there 3 times to get the rear bumper repaired. Not only is there still bumper damage, but they gouged the rear quarter-panel trying to pry my taillight off!!!!! The paint work is about the worst I have ever seen. Absolutely the WORST body shop in town. Do yourself a favor and take your car ANYWHERE else!!!!

I hadn't had my car in about 5 weeks when I picked it up after hours it wouldn't start and air tire symbol was on. Overall my experience was pretty good they kept me notified about the part that was on back order.

Andy P. and his team took great care of me! They were great with keeping open communication, were fast, efficient, and my suv looks amazing. This is the only place I would ever bring my vehicle for repairs

Very professional from start to finish. The work moves along like clockwork. These folks really know their business inside and out. I have used them in the past when a deer took out my entire front end. Now I'm back to fix my passenger doors where another driver backed out of their driveway directly into my two year old car.

Jason, AJ, and the rest of the team at Nu-Look Irondequoit provide superb, efficient, and friendly service. Regardless of the extent of the damage, they go above and beyond with both customer service and repairs. I always recommend Nu-Look to others because of my experience with their top-notch work.

Although the actual people were pleasant enough, I had to return my vehicle 4 (four) times...and counting for repairs that should have been reviewed, inspected and corrected before my pick up. I would never recommend them and although my insurance company is affiliated with Nu Look (Ironq.) I will never, ever use them again... Passing on the experience. Ok...here we go again....4th time had to bring my vehicle back to Nu Look (Ironq.). Had to literally point out the imperfections that were in plain sight. This is 1(one) day after posting previous review. Waiting ...for a promised detailing...won't hold my breath..BBB is now notified.

Although I had an unfortunate accident, I was pleased with the service I received from Nulook Collision. Kristen was exceptional as she coordinated my appointment and rental. Amy made the paper work and registration a breeze. Rick went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met including realigning my rear bumper. Thanks Rick! I will certainly recommend Nulook to my friends.

I took my mom's vehicle there to be repaired after an accident I spoke with Andrew there to drop off my vehicle after it was towed there he was the most respectful and coolest guy I have ever spoken to in regards to customer service I was very happy please go see him there you won't be disappointed
