Great machine shop built me this nasty roller 383 . Easy to deal with even when I changed the build several times ,will definitely bring my next race motor to Drakes .

At the time I decided to rebuild my Mk3 Supras 7m engine I asked around and Drake's was the top recommendation. I had a good feeling from the minute I walked in and spoke with Jim. He knew things that most machinists wouldn't about 7m engine's. Biggest factor with my rating is based on the problem I had 3 months after a very successful Rebuild/Install. Jim analyzed what he needed to and covered an entire rebuild under warranty. Of course I got smart and made a few upgrades . I know, why did I bother with the 7m

Great work and fast. I have them do all my heads. Most I get back same day. Only engine shop around that I use. In 15 years of doing business with then I never had one issue. Highly recommend.

Jim took a 1941 Chrysler Engine that someone else had worked on that was done completely wrong and turned it into a thing of beauty. He sourced the correct components that replaced all the period incorrect components that the previous expert used. He kept me informed all the way and delivered the engine when he said he would. Based on my experience with this company I am sending him a 1933 Chrysler engine to restore. I highly recommend this company.

If you need your engine rebuilt or want to build an engine these guys are the best they stand behind their work and do awesome quality work. I couldn't be more pleased with my 1949 Gray marine model 100 rebuild they done for me

I spent $4100.00 dollars to have Drakes build my 428CJ engine and after the dyno I got back a blown engine. Three main rods were blown and #4 main bearing was gone and more. He lied to me more than once and will never use him again. Also; found out he beat many other people, Stay clear. Rip-Off!!!Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

I had my V twin engine bored out at Drake's. Jim was very knowledgeable and helpful. The price was reasonable and the service was great. I will definitely be using them again for any of my engine machining.

Super friendly and super helpful. I'm new to the area and was looking for a good engine shop to go to and was told great things about this place. I'm happy to say my expectations have been blown away. You've earned yourselves a repeat customer.

They built my 440 Mopar long ago.. I came across this and had to say thanks. Did a great job and 30 years later? The engine is still running strong...

These guys were great!!! They milled my cylinder head because it was warped and blowing head gaskets. They had it done that day and cleaned it up for me. Great service!
