Fantastic service! I had multiple issues and all were fixed in a timely manner.Constant texting to keep me in the loop! This is a nice change of pace from other shops where I need to call multiple days in a row just to get a call back.Very clear on pricing and nothing is done until you give the OK to do so.Rob was fantastic with communication so much so I have to state it again.Will definitely be returning. It's rare that you leave a shop feeling confident in the work and not feeling like you got swindled. Thanks again for the great service!

Weston was very helpful and responsive during my vehicle purchase. He was able to complete this a little sooner on delivery day, because of course Rochester has snow in mid-March. I would recommend Cortese.

Cortese crushed my last maintenance appointment. I dropped my truck off anticipating a 3 to 4 day turnaround for brakes and tires and yearly maintenance and inspection. By noon the same day they had already called, and my truck was ready for pickup. I no longer dread dropping my vehicles off, as long as they go to Cortese.

It is difficult to get anyone to answer when trying to call and make an appointment, or when calling to inquire the status of your vehicle. We made an appointment for an issue, as well as an inspection and oil change. Not sure what exactly was done during that allotted appointment time, because it sure was not fixing our vehicle, and in fact it wasn't even diagnosing the exact issue. Just a "maybe its this, but we will have to take it all apart, and also we won't be able to finish it until Monday at the earliest" and no offer of a loaner. I don't want to blame the techs specifically, but it certainly does not seem that they are scheduling adequate time to address issues, even when you are being very clear about what is going on. When we inquired if they would offer a loaner/rental, they said *maybe* they would cover one day, despite the fact that we brought the car in on a Thursday and they were keeping the vehicle through the weekend. In general, I find it very difficult to trust people working on our vehicles, and they certainly did nothing to change that, or to inspire our confidence. We ended up going somewhere else, who took a much more modest approach and fixed the issue in 1 day. We definitely will not go back here and I probably will not consider Cortese to ever purchase from again either. Really soured us on the whole place.

I had taking my vehicle to a shop on Monroe muffler on university ave and they did not fix the problem with my car. They had 3 opportunities and I was very patience. I am still waiting to hear from management that promised to stand by their work..Brought my vehicle to Cortese and it was fixed right the first time. Jordi is professional and the mechanic that works on my car is very knowledgeable.

Kind people. Very easy to schedule an appointment.Though I ve been left with more damage to my vehicle than when I brought it in for a free warranty fuel fix (waited approx 9 hrs total in the waiting room). I brought the car back the next day as it was extremely loud I had never had that experience with my car. It ran extremely quiet.I left with a $2500 exhaust bill for damages that took place during the warranty fuel fix . The exhaust shop (Cole s) that I took my car to insisted the decisions made by Cortese service are the reasons my exhaust is in such disrepair and they (Cole s) refuse to touch it. They said that Cortese should repair the exhaust as it is their (Cortese) fault the damages exist. Cortese service manager suggested they had already done their best and it is not their fault or responsibility to fix the damages to the exhaust which include the following (also all photographed):- used exhaust cement- bolts missing- missing attachments- bar resting on pipes with no gapCortese s reasoning was that the exhaust was so rusty that it split all the way (while working on the fuel tank) due to rust. Exhaust repair shop, suggested that cannot be true as they ve seen exhausts with a considerable amount of rust.I wish I had another experience.Update: My car is now fixed. It runs well. It took a lot of advocating on my part, another mechanic, and the administration to the lead/manager mechanic, however it has been rectified with no additional cost. I doubt I ll go back but I do think their admin department strives for fairness. Added a star.

I dropped my vehicle off at cortese before thanksgiving of 2023. I dropped it off for a transmission that decided it didn t want to shift anymore. I did not hear a thing till mid December when I had to contact the dealer. I expressed to them I needed my vehicle asap but also understood it was the holidays. They did not look at my vehicle till after the new year. They took the transmission out and it sat for a few weeks. Rob decided then that I can get a rental from them. So after 4 months and $1600 in rental and repair fees above my warranty I drove off the lot. No sooner than I left the lot my transmission they had for four months and supposedly repaired shifted hard so the next day I took it back. They removed the transmission and rebuilt it again and charged me and my warranty company twice for the same work. So again I drive it off the lot and it shifts hard again, slamming into gear. I take it back again the next day and they say they will look at it. They then message me two weeks later saying they can t fix my transmission and to come pick it up. They rebuilt it twice and that s all they will do. I filed a complaint with there own customer relations department and the better business bureau. Customer relations never replied but the Better Business Bureau did. The BBB informed me Cortese Dodge is rated an F for failure to respond and failure to correct issues. So I went to the dealer and they did not care, Rob the service advisor advised me they have been in business 50 years and it s no big deal if I complain, they aren t going anywhere. Brian the assistant service manager is one of the rudest people me or my wife has ever dealt with, Rob same way and Gary the Service Manager refused to return my calls. So now that I have to write a complaint to warn others to not use cortese dodge for service. I also filed a complaint with the DMV, The Attorney Generals Office and soon Monroe County Court. These people should not be in business and if you use them for any service just beware, you have been warned. Use at your own risk and bank account. Oh and feel free to read the screen shot of the text from Rob saying it s still shifting hard but it should be ok and come pick it up. Thanks Gary and Rob!

The car buying experience was actually very good. My salesman, Derek, answered all my questions and was able to get the exact Pacifica I wanted. I always prefer to deal with locally owned businesses and Cortese is one of a very few Auto dealers still existing in Rochester.You can't go wrong with Cortese.

My first car maintenance in Rochester as I just moved here. This place is closed to work so I chose to have my car serviced here. Everything was great! They advised and explained what is needed for my car and quote on the price upfront. Communication is also great!

The one star is for my sales representative for the buying experience, he was absolutely wonderful! As far as the rest of my vehicle and service experience is absolutely horrible! DO NOT BUY THE JEEP CHEROKEE L!!!! Your car will be in service at least once a month.. the screen is constantly going out and sometimes stays off for days at a time when that happens all the components go out as well, headlights, heat, radio and etc. so no heat or lights! When that isn t enough of an issue the push start works when it wants too I ve been stranded multiple times due to this. I have been dealing with these issues since I purchased the car I have brought it in for service more than 6 times now only 5,000 miles on it! They give me the run around every time and says there s nothing wrong with it and to keep driving it. I no longer drive at night cause the head lights go out while driving and take my husbands car when I take my children somewhere due to no heat in the car!!have sent them videos of the incidents while they are happening as proof..I have asked for them to buy the car back as it is unsafe and have been in multiple times for the same issue and still nothing I have filed a claim through jeep pertaining to lemon law and hired a lawyer as well so please I beg you do not buy this vehicle it is a headache and completely unsafe for you and your family!! I have purchased 7 vehicles through Cortese and I will NEVER buy from them again!!!

I would especially like to thank Jordi who did some service on my car because he treated me with kindness and respect which is not a thing that older women normally find these days, especially at dealerships. Worst experience I've ever had with repairs. Needed a battery replaced, some lugnuts swapped, and an oil change/rotation. Was told 2 hours max, ended up waiting for 6. 2 hours were spent just testing the battery with nothing else being done in the meantime. $1000 bill for that? Great reminder to just DIY next time.

I m happy my vehicle was repaired; however I m not pleased with the communication aspect. I had an appointment and dropped my car off on a Wednesday. I was informed after they diagnosed the issue they would need to order the part and it wouldn t be in until two days later. I was ok with that. I obtained a rental car thinking I would have my car back two days later on Friday by the end of the day. I waited for a phone call all day Friday and as it became near their closing time and I hadn t heard anything I began trying to contact Cortese. I was unable to reach anyone, so I extended my rental because of course I had to work this entire week. I had the weekend off and on Monday I got on the phone early to get an update. I was able to get in contact with my service associate and was informed that my vehicle wouldn t be ready until Wednesday. I had to rent another vehicle from Monday until Wednesday because I still had to get to and from work. Thankfully on Wednesday I received a call in the morning informing me my vehicle was ready. The second thing that I wasn t happy about was when I came in to pay at the cashiers office; I see a sign that said car rentals. Why wasn t I offered a rental car? Is it a service only offered to certain customers?! I feel like they dropped the ball on some aspects of their service. I don t expect anything positive to come from my review I just wanted to share my experience.

Just purchased a 2023 Jeep Wrangler from Cortese. This is our second Jeep purchased from them. Everything went very well from test drive to signing.I dealt with Anna from sales and she was very helpful and understanding with some of my concerns.I would definitely recommend buying a vehicle from Cortese Jeep. Ask for Anna.

Sales and loan departments are awesome! Derek was informative with the whole process and didn't push up selling vs what I wanted. Ray was excellent with explaining loan options and finding the best rebate offers Ram had to offer. Sadly, there will be a service department review soon.

Gar and away my go Dodge and Jeep service center. Directly connected to Mopar and Jeep Wave. The staff is professional and pleasant . I never have to guess what the status of my vehicles are in, they communicate often. I ve been to the biggest and newest dealerships and will never go back. Cortese is my dealership and service center of choice.

I dropped my jeep off at 7:30 am. I received a text that my jeep was done around 11:20am. Only to receive a second text about 10 minutes later stating it was not done. My work day was coming to an end at 3:00 pm and I still had not heard any further update on the status of my jeep so I sent a text, did not get a response. Then called twice no answer. So I figured they had my car for over 8 hours and all I needed was an oil change and inspection so I just drove to the dealership hoping it was done. Thank god it was but I ve never had an easy or pleasant experience with this dealership.
