Browncroft is the BEST they're trustworthy, straightforward, reliable, and always provide excellent service. For several years, I've been taking my car to Browncroft for annual inspections, oil changes, and other random repairs that come with driving an older, used car with lots of mileage. The mechanics are friendly and honest, always going above and beyond to ensure that my car is fixed and safe to drive. Even after moving out of town, I still drive the 10+ hours home to have them inspect/register it because I know I'm in good hands. Recently, Scott helped me get reimbursed for the replacement of a part done by my mechanic in South Carolina a perfect example of Browncroft's incredible customer service and support.

I highly recommend Browncroft garage because I trust them with servicing my vehicle the past 6 years. All of the crew are professional and easy going people to communicate with. I appreciate their transparency, recommendations, and going above and beyond for their customers. I feel comfortable dropping off my vehicle the night before getting my vehicle serviced as well as needing to at times pick up my vehicle after hours. I appreciate them offering a lockbox to be able to pick up the car after hours. Also, the new text/email communication system of showing you images, notes, and recommendations of what needs to be done along with being able to approve/ deny what services you want completed and being able to pay online. Thank Browncroft for all that you do and continue to do!

Found this garage when I moved to the area for a work contract. I move around a lot for work and this garage has been the best I've experienced hands down. Communicative, quick, and always friendly and flexible. I am sad to be moving and leaving this team behind- but I'll recommend them to anyone who will listen.

I am new to the Rochester area and didn t have a recommended mechanic so I just chose one (wasn t Browncroft) and it was a horrible experience, so I looked for a new mechanic and was told to check out Browncroft BEST recommendation ever! This is a honest place that does great work and wonderful customer service! Highly recommend Browncroft Garage for anyone in the Rochester area, you will not be disappointed. Thanks to Mike and Scott and all who worked on my vehicle.

These guys deserve the ratings that they have earned. They helped me even with my atv tires. Small job, but from that to cars they re always honest and willing to help. I m sure countless other places would push me onto someone else; they say yes to even the little things which ultimately earns long term larger business. Can t thank them enough. Love giving money to a local shop like this.

Maintenance Advisor (Mike) was friendly and easy to talk to. Shop is close to my home. Dropping my car off easy and revealed system for after hours vehicle pick up that I found very convenient if I would ever need to use. Work I requested was completed and a text was sent advising/recommending further services. The garage is very helpful and get the job done efficiently. This last visit was on late Friday (they were closing up) and my tailpipe had fallen off. I had it towed to them and Monday they looked at it and told me it was able to be done that day or by the next morning. The next morning it was done. Picked it up and was fine.

These guys are rock stars. I ve had the privilege to choose this shop for most of my repairs in the last few years, and they always get it right. I initially decided to check them out because they re highly regarded in Rochester (voted #1!), and because they serviced the vehicles for a dealership I worked at and kept up with our demands excellently while providing top notch and thorough care.Not only are they providing informative and considerate customer service, and consistently reliable high quality work, they are also actively looking for the most cost effective method. So nice and thorough! Love that they take pics of car and of areas that are recommended for repair or maintenance, which are posted in the invoice. Dan also gave me a lift home and back to get my car. Great guys!

I think the two most important qualities to look for in a mechanic is honesty and quality service. I can attest that BCG has both qualities in addition to a high level of professionalism. Everyone I met there was knowledgeable and pleasant. For example, on my last service Mike took the time to answer all my questions honestly which allowed to make a well informed decision. I highly recommend them in Rochester.

They are very knowledgeable of Toyotas, they are efficient, technologically advanced, clean, courteous and take the time to fully explain everything. They have saved us a lot of money once when they fought the insurance company for us. I recommend them highly.

Browncroft Garage has the best technicians ever. They are honest and trustworthy. My parents trusted Browncroft garage to maintain their vehicle back in the 70 s.My car which has over 140,000 miles runs like a brand new car since Browncroft Garage has been maintaining it.

It' was a wonderful experience! They are friendly and understanding, as they accommodate the clients needs, as best as they can.This was my first time at this family, repair garage. Highly impressed with the diagnostic system they use. I've never seen such a full report and mind you, with pictures ofeach different part, of my own Acadia, that need attention. Well, repair! This way you can get it All done, or gradually take care of the repairs needed.This introduced a trustworthy family business that I can trust. We had some car problems while traveling through Rochester, and Browncroft garage was recommended by another shop. We were seen immediately by the owner of the shop who went out himself with the code scanner, diagnosed the problem, and made a super quick repair that fixed the problem immediately. He did not charge us a cent, gave us a thorough explanation, and even offered recommendations of what to do if we had problems in the future. We are blown away by this shop s honesty and exceptional customer service, and recommend them highly.Service: Electrical repair

Fantastic experience! Mike was excellent at communicating with me during the day. This is the most efficient Auto Garage I have ever worked with. All of my requested checks and repairs were completed within the day and I am very happy with how well my car is now running. Browncroft Garage was recommended by someone who'd used them a few times. Our brakes needed work and our dealer offered appt in 3-4 wks. Browncroft offered option for 2 days, then assessment was complete in a few hours, I was sent images with their recommendations about brakes and more. I was able to choose what work to do, and car was ready early the next morning. Delivery of one necessary part was delayed so it did go overnight, and they were in communication about that issue. They'd otherwise would have completed work by end of day.Pleasant to work with, convenient, communicative, and clear: I could not have asked for more.I'm very satisfied and plan to use them again.Service: Brake service & repair

Quick service & very trustworthy at Browncroft Garage! Worked with Scott Posadny, owner, Dan VanHuben Service Advisor and Mike Toner Service Advisor on a general maintenance plan and repairs for my Lexus. They were very knowledgeable about potential issues before getting into it & were able to get it fixed very quickly. I would trust them with any future repairs, I would not take my car anywhere else. These guys have taken great care of me - my poor car who saw less service than she deserved over the years needed to be prepped for long haul travel and they helped me get her into tip top shape. Also, before that they made me sleep on a decision to replace my blown brake lines since my car is old enough to consider whether the investment is worth it (cared more about me as the customer than taking a big chunk of change from me). Mike at the desk is very patient and takes the time to explain your options, and have never once felt spoken down to as a female. Very fast service and very kind.

DO NOT GO HERE! I paid $1650 for brakes to get done just for them to still be on the floor and squeak! After letting them know the same day, they had someone look again and he says that they were fixed. I went to Mercedes and they said the brakes weren t touched at all! Don t let the mail-in coupons fool you, they are scammers and not POC friendly! I will be taking them to court

After having a problem (the garage didn't emphasize that I was REALLY LOW on oil), Scott the owner reached out to me to apologize and worked with me to address the issue. I really appreciate the follow up from Scott and think he went above and beyond to make sure that I was a happy customer. Don't judge the shop by its outside appearance. This shop is high-tech, high-touch and focused on customer service. I have been getting my vehicles repaired here for years. Browncroft Garage is hands down the best repair shop in Rochester. The service managers are honest and their rates are reasonable - no shady stuff happening here! They actually take pics of all mechanical issues and text you their repair recommendations and then you can accept or reject any of the work - no pressure! I don't know of any other shops that do this. I recommend this shop to everyone. Check them out!

The team here has been so helpful and generous. Super supportive and clear, which is great (for someone like me who doesn t know much about cars; and drives some in pretty rough shape!). They have gone out of their way to help with some of the old vehicles I ve drive, and the quality of service is superb!

From initial meeting with Scott to follow-up texts, I knew I had been referred to right place for my cars issues.Options were fully explained and use of email/texts to confirm services made for a very comfortable process. We stumbled across this garage because of AAA years ago and they have been our go to since! The first time I went I was with my husband, and they still talked to me directly about the car, they didn't default to 'ignore the girl, the man will know more car stuff so I'll talk to him' which is so refreshing and very appreciated.We have always have great experiences with them and they are so thoughtful and understanding. On top of treating our service with the urgency we feel, they always give us a lower cost option if possible which is amazing. So grateful we found them.Services: Tires, Vehicle safety inspection

I love this garage. I don t know anything about cars, everything is always explained well and I feel informed as to what is being done on my van. I love the system they use to tell you what they found and what repairs they suggest to be fixed.
