No bull. Great service. Willing to listen and work with my needs. Great deal on the brake controller I needed for my truck. Will use Brad's for all future needs. This is the kind of local place you support over using Amazon, etc just to save a couple dollars. Word is bond.

Outstanding service and I didn't even buy anything. I needed a part for a Dura Faucet and could not find it anywhere. Brad's checked and Dura does not sell the part separate, you have to buy an entire assembly for $50. Brads thought that was stupid like I did and they contacted Dura and got them to send me the part for FREE ! Going above and beyond for someone and not asking for any $$ says a lot about Brads ! ! ! Well done indeed.

Brads trailer service has always been kind and courteous and helpful with all of the needs for trailers for my business I would highly recommend using them if you need to rent purchase or have repairs done to your trailer in the Rochester New York area

They replaced my tires, chains, and more, & did an inspection w/o an appt. I have little knowledge about trailers but they were very friendly and helpful!

Nice people, ultimately didn't get a trailer hitch but very much appreciated they took the time to look at the car to determine if it was safe to put one on!

Our utility trailer needed to be rewired. We had the light and wiring kit, called Brad's and they said to drop it off any time - no problem! The guys working there are top-notch and had the job done by the next day. When we picked up our trailer, we hooked it up to our car to test the lights before leaving. They didn't work. We knew they worked because the trailer passed inspection after the work was done. So that meant the problem was with our car! Rather than send us away to go to our dealer or another car mechanic, they immediately took our car into their service area and put it on a lift while we waited safely and observing all the Covid-19 precautions they had in place within their business. It was discovered that we had a blown fuse. They replaced it and all was well. When we asked what we owed them for that, they graciously replied "No charge". Really? Who does that nowadays? As I said earlier, Brad's is Top-Notch and I highly recommend them!

My husband and I recently got a hitch and trailer brake installed. They did a really nice job on both of these items. Unfortunately, they accidentally disconnected our exhaust pipe. When they called to tell us the car was finished they neglected to tell us about that. We drove 40 minutes to pick the car up only to find it that way. Since it was after business hours we left the car there and left a voicemail about the issue. The next day they called back, said they knew about it already, they refused to fix it and told us they were supposed to tell us about it the day prior. So we had to make an extra 40 minute trip each way and pay $580 to a mechanic to fix. They stated the pipe was rusty. This could be true but it still was in fine working order when we dropped it off. We are very disappointed and the extra $580 put us in a bad spot this month.

I had a hitch installed at another place and then less than a week before I was supposed to tow a trailer across the country, I found out that I did not have the hookup I needed for the lights. When I called Brad's and explained the situation, they got my Jeep in within two days and the light harness hooked up within a couple of hours of me dropping it off. Also, when I went to pick it up, one of the guys went over how to attach it once I got the trailer and reviewed the warranty with me. The price was consistent with previous quotes I had gotten, so they didn't use the fact that I was in a tight spot to charge me more. Highly recommended!

Paid more for what I didn't want. NOT RECOMMENDEDI made an appointment over a week in advance. I specifically said I wanted a 4-way with a 7-way hookup and a brake controller installed. I already had a hitch. They were polite and on time. However, I was quoted $360.00 ish . When I picked up the truck there was only a 7-way installed, the 4-way that was on there had been removed. I asked why there was no 4-way. We didn t have that part was the response. You can leave it and I ll call you when it s done this was at the end of the day. I can sell you an adapter the whole reason for both is so I don t have to screw around with an adapter. I paid the bill which was $376 and change. I m not happy at all. I did not get what I paid for and paid more for than quoted. No phone call telling me they didn t have the part and I made the appointment a week out. Plenty of time to get the part from Amazon, Walmart, or any other distributor. The workmanship seems to be of good quality, but they don t care enough to give you a phone call or to install what you agreed upon. I do not recommend them at all.

I ordered my own hitch on-line and called Brad's to have it installed. They did an excellent job in an hour. They called me to double check what kind of lights I had on my car to make sure I bought the correct wiring. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable service. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Went to get a quote for a class 3 hitch for my 2013 Ford Taurus and when they did the free inspection they found the frame rails wouldn't handle the hitch. Some places wouldn't tell me about the issue and just sell the hitch! Thanks Brad's, for your honesty!

Could not find a replacement hitch that I needed for my 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 anywhere in the Greater Rochester Area. Brads was recommended by a relative. Called and they had it in stock. Good customer service, good price, overall good experience. I would recommend checking Brads for all your trailer parts and needs.

This place is excellent and I can personally attest to the excellent quality work they do. I have had several trailers serviced here and every time the work is done with greatest quality, small turn around time and actually very reasonably priced. Once you deal with these guys once, you will realize there is never a need to go elsewhere. Thank you guys ~ Matt ( A&L painting)

Went in for a trailer hitch on my minivan. Excellent service. Job well done. Personal adjustment request was taken care of with more concern for a safe change than I would have given on my own vehicle. I was impressed.

The short version: After several other places failed to install my hitch, Brad's did it without any issues, and on short notice! Should have called them first! The long version: I ordered a Draw-tite hitch online for an 8 year old VW, and a hitch mount bike rack. I figured uhaul is the place for this, since this seems to be their main gig. Their soonest appointment was 6 weeks out. Since I had some service already scheduled at my VW dealership, I figured they could do it easy enough. Wrong. The dealer quoted me $600 and 7 hours of work for the install. I pointed out the instructions (which I already gave them) said to use the fishwire to feed the bolts through existing holes in the frame. The hitch manufacturer estimates a 40 minute job. The dealer insisted they must remove the entire rear end assembly, bumper, and exhaust system to feed the bolt through the top of the frame. Pass. Called back uhaul.I said I could drive up to 150miles for a sooner appointment. They found me one about an hour away, and a week out, quoted $130. I took the appointment. When I arrived they figured out quickly that there were some rusted bolts that must be removed, which required heat. But uHaul policies don't allow heat used in their shops. They did not want to risk snapping the heads off the bolts without heat. To be fair, kudos to them for doing the right thing and not F'ing up my car. Alas, fail number two.On my way home I called Brad's Trailer Supply. They said heat was no problem, fish wire is a no brainer, and if I could drop it off, they might be able to squeeze me in between other appointments in the next few days. So I dropped off the car and the hitch. Less then 4 hours later they called to say it was all finished with no issues at all, $110!If only I knew to call Brad's in the first place I would have saved myself a lot of hassle. The right tools for the job, the right knowledge, the right price, and fast! Who says you can't have it good, fast, and cheap! Call Brad's.

Great store for hard to find trailer parts. from suspension to flooring to bolt on parts. these guys can usually find the part or point you in the right direction. Doesn't matter if you have a name brand trailer or a off brand one. The parts or pretty universal and these guys do good at finding them.

Absolutely amazing service! Not only were they really experienced, they put and entire hitch and wiring on with no issues. They are even good at keeping the wait time low and are so welcoming. This is the second time I have worked with them and I would recommend them to anyone! Go see Jon, he's the best!

I went here because they were recommended by Park Ave Bike Shop. I had them install a hitch on my Subaru. They had it in stock, at the best price I found in town. They were friendly, and installed it while I waited. Thanks!

These guys are great! The Reese hitch I bought 5 years ago developed a break and John got right on it. He called them on it; he handled everything from taking pictures to notifying them and get them to send a new one free of charge. His crew also mounted it in record time. A great bunch of folks at Brad's Trailer Supply!

These guys are great. Even if you don't need a hitch or hitch accessory you should go hang out with these cool dudes and buy something. Quality, fast service, friendly-in-the-face-of brisk business. 2011 Hyndai class III hitch in stock and installed 30 minutes for $200, what more can you ask for?

This is the first time I've done a review online and I want to being I saw Brad's got a bad review. On one occasion, I was having a hitch installed by Brad's and they noticed my vehicle had a rusted spot on the frame where it needed to be installed. They referred me to another company for the repair of the frame and it was very inexpensive, and then I went back to Brad's and had the job completed. They looked out for the safety of my family and showed me everything they were doing, and why they were doing it.I've made several purchases there over the years, and will keep going back. They are the experts that several other companies refer to, and there is a reason for that. Thank you Brad's!

I bought a trailer tire and rim last Thursday for a boat trailer. i thought i was buying a new tire. It was new to there so called standards. well the date on the tire was made in 2017. I wish i would have looked at date when i bought it. So i called today and they told me they must have been that way in the shipment. Go to any tire store. They don't hang on to tires after the 1st yr. Be honest with your customers. You probably got a real good deal you money grabbing people. I will never do business with you.

Absolute horrible customer service. Went in looking for a part, the guy behind the counter didn't even get up out of his seat and leafed through a magazine, only to tell me it needed to be ordered. Very rude and unprofessional, the language from the other gentleman behind the counter was a little off putting too. Will definitely take my trailer needs elsewhere and recommend my friends and family to do the same.

Start Here! This is lengthy but an important lesson to be learned.I m in from Texas to help my son move (college graduate from RIT!). First U-Haul overbooked and called me the afternoon before to reschedule for seven days later! Unacceptable.I Could only make appointment for next day at a U-Haul 2+ hours away. 15 minutes after arriving here, I m told that there s a problem with my weldnuts threads and they cannot fix. They have no idea where to go to fix locally so I m just out of luck. This is a national company with 1500 locations and they cannot thread some nuts?! I bought the hitch and wiring equipment to take back to Rochester to find another installer.Next day in Rochester I stopped at four more U-Hauls to see if they could install (you cannot speak to a particular location to ask questions as you re routed to a call center). It seems that no U-Hauls have the tools or expertise to weld or rethread nuts or figure out any solutions. The signs outside most of these locations read CUSTOM HITCHES. Nope. The last U-Haul suggested Brad s Trailer.Brad s pulled my car around to look at the problem and 20 minutes later they had my hitch installed at half the price of any of U-Haul s locations. I wish they rented trailers as I don t want to spend ANY money at U-Haul!Brad s is the place to start. Purchase your supplies here and get them installed here. I am impressed!

I would give 0 if I could. We just purchased a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk this past weekend. The trailhawk fascia is already set up to accommodate a trailer hitch and you just need to get the part and it goes in the panel. My husband calls them and gives them our make and model. They tell my husband yes and they give a price so we bring it in. What they don't tell us is what they have is an after market hitch that can't be installed where the car was designed to have it installed and for their part, they would they would need to cut a whole in my bumper. The bumper of my car that I haven't even owned for a week. I would think since they are the trailer experts that before they cut into the bumper of our car they would make sure we understood they didn't have a part that worked correctly with our car. When I picked up the car and expressed how upset I was they told me the part I wanted would have had to have been factory installed, that was completely false I found the part on dozens of websites and reviews of people installing themselves.
