I definitely like to thanks to these guys for the service they did on my expedition. Had an emergency on my expedition with a break line and he was able to get me in the next day. Not even 08:00 I got a call about my truck being done. The staff was extremely polite. You guys definitely have a new customer. Thanks

This shop goes above and beyond! Honest, superior work and crazy exceptional customer service. We are so happy to have found them for our daughters car in Rochester. A true gem and 100% recommended!

The people over at bassets are truly genuine and helpful! Have no doubt in my mind that these are the best mechanics in all of Rochester, whenever someone is in need to a trustworthy mechanic I will always recommend the fine people over at bassets!

Everything and everyone did a perfect job. Had service at another shop 3 times and couldn't fix it. Scott new what the problem was and fixed the mistake and it was easy.Thanks to the whole staff.Excellent!!!!

My husband and I both use Basset Service for all of our vehicle's needs, they have always been very honest and trustworthy, they never try to push more than what is actually needed. For years I was a regular customer of Basset's until I moved from the neighborhood. I regret not traveling the extra few miles to have them take care of my cars. They offer great service, honest pricing and friendly staff. I've recently come back to the fold, and I will never go anywhere else for car repairs and service. Hands down, the best on the Westside and, I believe, the entire city.

Very nice people. Tire pressure sensor was on, they checked everything out, aired up the tires, reassured me that everything is ok and sent me on my way!Will definitely return there if necessary!!

This place has new ownership. The repair estimation is too high. Their price was the same price the dealership given me. Plus I was charge $25:00 lift fee. They lifted my vehicle to check my brakes but never took off one tire. I MISS THE OLD OWNERS. I WOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN CHARGED A "LIFT FEE" OF $25. However, they did tell me it would be deducted from my repair charge. They are over pricing! The folks were nice.

Needed to get a smoke test for my 2009 Cobalt; check engine light would not turn off due to fuel vapor leak. Had a challenging time trying to find a auto repair garage that will do a smoke test. I also needed a yearly NYS inpection, so asked around for a reputable place that was trustworthy & my mother recommeded Bassets Service Center. Highly impressed with how quickly my emails were answered while cooresponding & asking questions. The mechanic contacted me by phone after the fuel vapor leak problem was found; quoted all the details fix and the cost. I appreciated the peace of mind and ease of service during this encounter.Had to drive the car around for awhile to put on miles & reset the computer monitors. Felt a good vibe at Bassets Service Center. Happily, the Cobalt no longer has check engine light, feel much safer with fuel vapor leak patched & my car newly inspected.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Millie is sooo personable, knowledgeable and accommodating your every need! Ken is very precise, and his pride in his profession is evident in whatever is needed with excellence! I have have used them for a very long time and will continue!!!! I have moved out of Gates and there are many garages near me but don't mine driving the distance. You need to ensure w/confidence you are receiving the BEST and YOU WILL w/BASSET'S!

Their attention to service issues is good, but communication is not. As a result, I was without a car for one week. The facility failed to act on information which I provided resulting in unnecessary time and service charges that could have been avoided. In addition, when I received my car back, one function did not work and I found a wiring harness loose inside of the hood compartment. This lack of attention to a customer's communication and to detail when completing work may not be typical but is concerning.

The only mechanic shop my family will trust. Always gives a fair deal and never says something needs to be fixed when it's fine. Really couldn't ask for better service for my car or in the respect of customer service.

A+ Experience here. In-fact, it wasn't really A+ because it didn't go well but it was the way the owner handled the situation that made it 100% solid in my book. As a result, I will return my vehicle to Basset's because I can trust them. Bad luck can happen to anyone but the real test is how people handle themselves in those circumstances. You earned my business by how you handled a mistake...nice work!

I took my clk 350 Mercedes here and not only did they fix the problem, but they found another issue and fixed that as well. The are reliable and know what they are doing!!!
