Great Service. I was coming to advanced auto periodically for battery replacement of my car. Replaced the battery to DieHard gold battery. Steve did the installation and cleaned all the terminals very well and make sure rust is out in the bracket and fixed the loose bracket. Highly satisfied. Excellent service.

Went to purchase a battery and have it get installed, but was told that they wouldn t be able to do it because it was after dark (could ve used a flashlight maybe?). Older guy behind counter also seemed very confused when I mentioned that the car s computer needed to be coded with a new battery install, something that the Advance Auto Parts website assures their customers they can do. This was one of the only days I had to get this done, but when I do have the time, I will not be going to this location to do it.

Their commercial department is a joke. Had to call corporate to get a credit app and was CCed in an email to get an account opened and nothing since. I'm not surprised though. I've been dealing with the same thing thing with napa. It's 5-08-23.. been trying to open an account since August 22.

I love Steve, Steve is the best, always helps me when I need it the most. Sam is cool too, skip hit or miss but most of the time a hit.

Ordered parts and came down to the store an hour later, usually if the part wasn't pulled yet the associate will pull the part on the spot. Upon arrival, the store was closed, when the website and store hours on the door says it closes at 8pm. Very misleading and in convenient since I needed my parts. As I'm writing this review several other customers arrive and relies the store is closed also when they knew always closed at 8pm. Thanks for letting me down again Advance Auto

Went to get my starter tested and the older gentleman behind the counter told me it was a waste of his time and he would not do it for me. He didn't think that was the problem from the description I gave him of what was happening. Told me to call the dealership. I called the dealership and they told me that everything I said sounds exactly like the starter. My guess is he just didn't want to come outside and do it in the cold. Maybe you shouldn't offer a service if your employees don't even want to perform it for customers.

I called to ask if I could loan a tool, and was told they didn't have anything to let me take home and never see it back again, which means they assumed I would steal. The representative seemed in a hurry, did not listen and was condescending. The gentleman probably needs a little bonus, or a small vacation or just some time off. Please help him. Thank you!

Bought a set of gauges. Clerk never took phone number for warranty so now I'm stuck with an oil pressure gauge that leaks into the truck. Terrible customer service, will never buy another thing form them

Came in 10 minutes to close, the cashier was still helpful and got me everything I needed. Unlike most auto parts stores where the person behind the counter doesn't know much about cars, the staff here was knowledgeable and recommended an extra tool. I figured it was just an up sell and went along with it but it cut my repair time in half having it!

They sold me windshield wiper fluid for $4.50 a gallon, saying the prices have gone up, and it s because of Biden . Walmart has it for $2.66 a gallon. Not only is it price gouging, but don t appreciate the political contents. Shop elsewhere!

I have never experienced such poor customer service and unprofessional conduct in my life. Up until today I have been a happy customer of Advance auto parts in Henrietta, NY. I came into the store for my girlfriend looking for a replacement head light lamp for her 2004 Camry. I brought in the burnt bulb and handed it to an associate, I said "Can you please help me locate the proper replacement for this burnt bulb, I need the exact one and don't know how to locate it." He politely assisted me and I purchased a double pack of bulbs on his recommendation. Keep in mind this is an auto parts store that bases their business off of connecting their customers to the proper auto parts based on their needs. Accurate customer service and supply of quality parts. Am I wrong? The next day I opened the package and attempted to connect the wire harness to the new bulb, only to find the part didn't fit. I thought, Oh well, they gave me the wrong part on accident, no big deal I'll just go exchange the part for the correct part, I have the receipt, no big deal, right? Nay nay! Much to my dismay, the manager present tonight had nothing more to say to me then "I can't, I can't". Over and over this supposed manager refused to remedy the mistake of one of his associates. No exchange, no refund nothing. He claimed if it's been opened it cannot be returned. I had the receipt, I had the packaging, I had the unused parts, is it too much to ask you to take some accountability and fix your mistake? I was outraged. To add to the debacle, this manager showed his true colors by exhibiting even further shady business practices. When I asked for his boss's name and number he refused. He walked away and hid in the back of the store. When I asked for his name he said "Mike", when I asked his last name he refused to tell me. Yeah, that's right. He knew what he was doing was pathetic. But here you go, Mike. You were the manager on duty on Sunday March 7th 2021 at 6 pm. Don't know who you are but I'm sure it'll be easy enough for your boss to figure it out. I can deal with being sold the wrong part, what I can't deal with is a local business selling customers the wrong parts and taking no responsibility for their mistakes. I understand policy, however given the circumstances, there is always exceptions or some degree of understanding that should be afforded to the customer, right? And refusing to let me talk to your manager, and saying nothing to me other than "I can't I can't", and showing an unwillingness to express any attempt to make their mistake right is asinine. Is this seriously Advance Auto Parts' best attempt at customer service? How can they hope to survive their competition if they continue to let their employees treat their customers this way. Look at Amazon. They built their business on the basis of unbeatable customer service. Seriously guys, get a clue. Where is my option for zero stars?

I went in to look at car wax. They had a variety of spray on, butter, snd cream. I finally choose one and went to go to the counter. The man said I'll take care of you sir, after all there was a slew of men and he wanted to come quickly from the stacks behind the counter. Oops sorry about that Madame. He was pleasant and ready to help. I would have asked a question but I didn't have one to ask. I would go again. Prices seem lower than Walmart!

Entered the store one evening to quickly find what I needed. I realized after I was in the middle of the store neither employee was wearing a mask. I am more cautious about my surroundings as I enter businesses now. Lesson learned. I will shop elsewhere for parts from now on.

I unfortunately had a very negative experience at this location. I normally don't post reviews but I feel this is important to share in case their are any WOMAN thinking of coming here. Firstly the man who helped me WAS NOT WEARING A MASK! Secondly this man talked down to his female coworker, insisting he change my battery because he could accomplish this task faster than her. Thirdly, as I was getting in my car to leave he called me "babe". NOT OK EVER. This type of flirtatious language from a stranger is inappropriate and makes woman feel uncomfortable, it's especially inappropriate because I am a customer. I do not feel safe or comfortable in this space and I won't be returning.

Went in to buy a headlight bulb and windshield wiper fluid. Very helpful staff. Don t forget to join their rewards program; used a $10 coupon off the total bill.

Asked for help to install windshield wipers, came out after waiting 15 minutes then he went back inside and complained to everyone and made fun of me cause I couldn't do it myself. Everyone was stairing at me through the window and laughing. I'll never go back again.

Needed a specific steering wheel lock, couldnt find it in the store. One of the workers quickly and very politely found it in the back for me.

Edit (5/25/21) - Original review was written during the mask mandate pre-vaccine. Take what you will from the employee's (in)actions...---Rating would be much higher if any of the THREE employees in the store had been wearing masks...I got my part and got out. I ll go elsewhere next time. Plus, it seems like this has been a persistent problem according to other reviews.

I needed wipers on this nasty night and the Henrietta store did not have the ones I needed. So I drove to Greece for the ones i needed they held them at the register for me that was very nice. Thank you

They opened 10 minutes late I walked in the door and they told me I had to go back outside and wait in the snow because the registers weren't powered up yet like it's my fault that they showed up to work late. I have things to do too... I said you guys are supposed to open 10 minutes ago he said we open when we are ready
