Was worried about getting my install done didn't trust any of the stereo shops in my area and seen tom on google seeing how he a one person show not a bunch of people like most shops. You get to know the person who is working on your car. So, I had Tom do the install for that reason and it was the best install I ever got super neat, and he goes the extra mile and for a great price and he actually takes pride in his work and don't leave a mess or scratches on your car. Most shops are shotty and leave a mess and rip you off Tom's car stereo is Best there is on LI.

Installation was fine at first. After a month android auto stopped working as if there was a faulty wire or it had become disconnected somewhere. If you need follow up work done he doesn't care and will stop answering..

Had Tom do my sons 2012 sonata radio. It came out great he is very happy and tom was very patient with all my questions. I would recommend him to anyone. That is why i posted this review.

Cannot say enough. He got me in the same day, did a full diagnosis and tested every possible problem, fixed my problem without selling me anything I do not need and all for a fair price. Will definitely be using him again and recommending when given the chance

Another satisfied customer!The entire process from start to finish went smoothly.Tom recommended the highly rated Kenwood Excelon X802-5 amplifier for my system that also included receiver and speakers. The system sounds great. Tom's attention to detail, expert workmanship and fair price are exactly what I was looking for. A+

Tom is absolutely one of the finest people you will ever meet. He did an incredible job on my Jeep Wrangler. I had Tom install power windows, power locks, remote start and a backup camera. Tom was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job going over all of the details of the process.. The job took slightly longer than expected but the end result was perfect. His prices were fair and work was impeccable. He kept me informed each and every step. Tom went out his way to source parts for me (going to junk yard, multiple trips to dealers, etc). He also provided custom solutions when it seemed we were stuck or had to wait on dealer for parts. I was thoroughly impressed with Tom's knowledge and enthusiasm about cars. I'm glad to have met Tom and I would highly recommend Tom to anyone with car customization needs. You will not be disappointed!

Tom installed amp, new speakers and wired led lights in 2020 civic. Everything came out great and on time. Will definitely use again, highly recommend

Tom is an Outstanding car audio technician and system installer.His attention to detail, patience and commitment to doing excellent work made all the difference on my install. I am pretty demanding person and Tom exceeded all my expectations. One month after the install and I am Loving my new system! Highly recommended! I look forward to working with Tom again in the future.

Nothing short of stellar. The reviews are all the same because he really does the best job. Twenty years of working with different installers and shops and Tom is in a class of his own. His work ethic is on another level and he goes over every detail. I wanted a specific type of install and I got exactly what I hoped for. The quality of the equipment is only a portion of how your car will sound. It s also how well you install it. We went over all of my expectations and he delivered at a great price. My 1998 Jeep sounds better than my 2016 Dodge Challenger that was done elsewhere. I wish I had known of his work beforehand. Don t hesitate.

I brought my 2021 Crosstrek to Tom with a horrible factory system, and he installed Alpine R series component front/coaxial rear speakers (that he gave me an excellent deal on), along with an ILX-407 head unit and a matching A60F amp, and the the sound is brilliant. Everything works perfectly and the sound is flawless. I couldn t be happier with the system, and I highly recommend his work.

Highly recommend Tom for all car audio needs. I was unable to get in touch with anybody over the phone finally after driving all the way to Best Buy I was told that they didn t have any appointments available till November. All I wanted was for new front speakers on my old used car I just purchased to be replaced as they were blown out as soon as possible and for a reasonable price. Finally after driving all over I found Tom on Google and he was able to see me on the spot In the evening and he had the exact speakers Best Buy sold in stock and was extremely honest and after watching him install the speakers I could see that he was very knowledgeable on all different types of cars and what he was doing. His price was way lower then the estimate I got at Best Buy and the speakers were brand new And my car was left not only with new speakers but in better shape and he helped fix a couple things that needed On his own time just because he s very honest and good people. I would definitely bring my car back and recommend Tom to all my Friends and family.

If you need car electronic work done, this is the place to come! After solid recommendations from people who had work done by Tom, I traveled 45 minutes from Mineola for Tom to work on my cars....and, I was not disappointed! He just installed LED headlights on my car. His workmanship is outstanding and you just cannot tell it is not OEM. He does all the work himself and clearly takes his time doing the job just right. Tom also installed Xenon headlights and fog lights on my son's car...again, he provided meticulous attention to detail at a very fair price! Tom stands behind his work....you can call him 3 months or 12 months after an installation and he will fix it! And, if he doesn't have a part he will even try to get a temp fix in place for you until the part comes in....wow!This is the place you should come for LED and Xenon headlights, stereo systems, window tinting, auto car starting, boat and car speakers, and home entertainment system set-ups. Tom is honest and gives a VERY fair price....how often can we say that in today's business world! He runs his business from his home...and treats his customers like respected guests! This is the kind of businessman that deserves our trade. I plan on doing more business with him in the future.

Tom did excellent work that exceeded my expectations. The job was done the right way and all wiring was run very cleanly. I will be back again with my other vehicles and already have recommended Tom's Care Stereo to some friends who needed some work done.

Just came back from picking up my 2015 GMC Acadia from Tom who did an awesome job of installing my laser interceptor. Found Tom via his great reviews on google and now I can see why. After a brief phone call explaining what work I needed done Tom was onboard and offered me a list of very quick install date options. When I dropped off my car I did a quick review with him my requests about preferred install options and locations and he was all set. He did a perfect job, very neat and clean install just the way I would have done it myself if I had the expertise ;-). Very reasonably price and nice and a really guy, I highly recommend and will definitely use again. Thanks Tom!

After you review many of Tom's customer comments, you will think this is a broken record! I too was drawn to Tom by the many positive reviews over a fairly long period of time. I called him regarding an upgraded stereo system install on my 2017 Ram 1500 and he was very accommodating, to say the least. He is very busy but was able to take care of my request in just a few days; the results were spectacular! Unbelievably clean, smart and efficient install, zero engine noise and absolute stealth, all at a completely fair price. As many have said, I've used most of the big names on the Island and always had the same results, poor service, sloppy installs and terrible customer service. Tom is a rare individual who takes pride in his work, knows what he's doing and is very responsive to his clients. Needless to say, he will be my goto guy for all future projects!

We spent A lot of time looking around for places where we could find the issue on my dodge charger 2006 tried installing a new radio but I accidentally blew some fuses and i had no idea what was going on finally after googling i found tom he answered the phone immediately and told me to bring the car to him on the spot once i get there he immediately worked on the problem found the issue and fixed it, he's very knowledgeable and honest very friendly and the thing that i liked the most about his service is how he puts his heart into the job, definitely coming back for all of my car audio needs Highly recommend his service. Ill be getting A LOT of work done on my car with tom.

I 1st when to Tom for a train horn install. I was so happy with his profession install that i went back to him a couple months later to have my audio system install i couldn't be happier of the outcome,he change all my speakers,install amps, box and led lighting, etc.He's real techno with his stuff he'll do stuff you only see in 007 movies,anything you need he'll do it. He also sells speakers,radios,amps and built' s custom boxes and wraps all his wood work in carpet like i said really professional. He takes the time to text/call you with updates and cheapest price all around i shop around to over 5 stores and Tom's prices were always about 40% cheaper. Definitely will keep recommending Tom to all my friends and family.

Tom's a great guy and does great service. Honest and Good prices, I looked around a lot before I found him, he's experienced, flexible and did a great job installing my head unit, building sub boxes, installing my amps, rewiring my amateur mistakes, and installing my alarm. I really recommend him to anyone that I can.

Without a doubt, Suffolk's best kept car stereo secret. I have been a car stereo enthusiast for 40+ years. I started using Tom 2 years ago. Tom is an accomplished installer and since he works alone from his home, he bypasses the overhead of a store. Translation? Superior craftsmanship at the best prices ANYWHERE. He is on Angie's List for a reason. This is world class, 5 star stereo installation (and more).

Tom's Car Stereo is great. It's hard to find someone who considers the vehicle theirs when they work on it, Tom does just that. He installed two amps, speakers all around including component speakers, new deck and wiring for three LED light bars. The install was so clean, he went above and beyond what I thought I would get for the amount paid. Don't bother with the big car stereo places.

Took care of my car quickly and he s reasonably priced and super nice !!Others wanted me to wait 2-3 weeks and I needed it done for a road trip the next day. A friend referred me to him and I m glad he did .Thanks Tom!!! Your the bestest !!

I too was drawn to Tom's Car Stereo by all the high praise he receives. The first time I called Tom about upgrading the deck in my 2007 Avalon he spent 20 minutes on the phone with me. Even more notable, he was in the middle of an install. Needless to say it was a no-brainer right from the start. When it came time to install, I brought my little "punch list" to go over the details. I've been mocked for this by other installers, only to have them not do what I asked. Not Tom, he listened intently, and even said "this is what you're supposed to do". In the end, he did everything I asked for exactly as I specified. He also fixed my driver's side power window which had been dragging for years after a previous install. He even fixed some odds and ends I had mentioned in passing but didn't ask him to fix. I have a good amount of experience with car audio systems and various installers. Tom is friendly, attentive, knowledgable, accomodating and professional, all at VERY reasonable prices. So, ALL the nice things people are saying about this guy are TRUE! Please trust me and do yourself a favor, let Tom take care of all of your mobile-electronic needs. This guy REALLY CARES about his work.

I had Tom install speakers and an amp in my 2013 Porsche Boxster. The interior is full leather and you could not tell that anything had been touched or removed. The installation of the amp was super clean and all the work was done in short order. The system sounds great and I could not be happier. 100% recommend, great job Tom

I am glad I know an audio go to guy that I trust with any vehicle, All the above reviews are spot on! I had a Kennwood radio purchased by Crutchfield and he installed it at an unbelievable rate. Workmanship was top notch and all the adapters were missing, "Not a problem, I think I have it" 2 minutes later he is telling me that he is not going to change his price due to the missing hardware! Not, He got a nice tip and I feel like I made out like a bandit. Would recommend to anyone and would not be worried about how they will be treated. Tom was awesome..... Your search will be over tooNever met him before install, Hope to meet him again

I highly recommend Tom's Car Stereo.Just had some work done there, and he's incredibly efficient, good at what he does, and honest. You know that you're getting a fantastic job fair price, and his work is very detail-oriented; no shortcuts.
