Place is a rip off and tries to steal and breaks peoples cars don t go here. Also the hertz is a rip off they try make u upgrade when I have a confirmed price avoid at all costs

i m not sure what his name is but he runs the front and he s phenomenal. i will recommend this place to everyone ik. thank you for your time and patience with my rental and being so understanding and caring through a rough time. he was even helping two people at once both times i went there, more patience than i would have. will def go back for car work in the future

Better to have appointments or leaving the car for the day. Check engine light problem. They tried to diagnose the problem, couldn't quite figured it out but they didn't charge me anything. While I was waiting for a walk-in, I saw they didn't charge for another regular customer for minor fix. That's rare with my luck. Also I have not experience any up-sale here. Btw, if they give you estimated hours, most of the time they are right. They are busy... Most of the time as well.

Top of the line business. Wish I hadn't wasted 20 years with my first maintenance shop. Quick diagnosis and repair. Honest, fair and courteous. My family has a fleet of five cars, all of which are now only serviced here. My services consisted of oil changes, inspections, brakes, electrical problems and "check engine lights." The owner was amazing and got my car in and out within 30 minutes. The did an inspection & oil change and also washed the exterior of the car off from all the pollen!! They were very busy on Thursday morning, 5/20 & yet still got the job done within a half hour. Very impressive and the prices seem reasonable too. I highly recommend this place for all your car care needs!!!

I go here for my oil changes, im relatively new to the area and as a female, finding a honest repair shop isn't easy. Needless to say I love this place. The man whose always at the front, ( i believe hes the owner) is so nice and honest, he doesn't make you feel stupid , as men tend to do with females regarding cars. I dont feel like im being ripped off either. I usually go there as soon as they open so i can be in and out since i have work, he always makes sure they take my car in right away. My last oil change he strongly recommended i got new back tires, but he wasn't pushy or anything. I ended up going to a tire shop down the road. If i ever needed another service for my car, this would definitely be the first place i go.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Continuously impressed with the service here. As a single mom, I'm taking that chance to say I feel like I can trust them. They worked on my car today, they gave recommendations without being pushy, and they got me out in great timing - again. They're always courteous and fast - even with the extensive list of services. With all the things we go through on Long Island - prices skyrocketing - it's good to know I can depend on them to get the job done without hassle. Thank you!

If you do not know any car mechanics who can personally fix your car, it is the place to go which have a good balance between price and quality. You definitely can find a cheaper place, but cannot reach the level of quality they provide. Or you can find better quality place, but the price will be way higher.

I got in the car to get to work and my maintenance required light was on. I called the guys at Tilden and they were able to get me in asap. Their service and care were the best! I really appreciate all their kindness & help! I definitely recommend these guys! They are awesome!

I have been coming here for over 10 years. I never had a problem before and it s so close to my house. I went for an inspection a month ago and they told me that I needed an oil change, rear brakes, and 4 new tires. I had them just do an oil change and had them change the air filters since they pointed out how bad they were. I have a friend that was going to do my brakes and get my tires cheaper somewhere else. Shortly after I had my air filters changed, 3 lights came on on my dashboard. My car was not running right. I found out it was my sensors that were located right below my air filters that I just had replaced. Usually, they are cheap to replace but on my car make and model they costed me $280. Funny thing is that the bolts for the sensor s were brand new when my car is a 2012. All the other bolts have wear on them. It s very fishy and I have no proof that they swapped out the sensors so I had to eat the cost. My friend put the new sensors I bought in and the lights went off.Just beware! I will not be going back.

Great shop, very accommodating. These days auto repairs are on the steep side, but ya' gotta have transportation. With Tilden, I know it's done right & they're not taking advantage of me. That's huge for me, especially being female & not into cars. Recent repair didn't seem right - had concerns. Brought it in, they confirmed something wasn't right. Dropped it off, and the faulty piece was replaced, no cost. Done in a timely fashion, too. I trust Tilden & recommend others, too!

Great service ! Rob took my wife s car in immediately to get the work completed. I was in and out for some minor exhaust work and oil change. Waited while they did the work and went above and beyond by showing me exactly how they were going to fix the issue. I would highly recommend the team over at Tilden! Tilden was recommended to me. I was worried about the cost of the maintenance needed. At Tilden, the price was fair. I called in the morning for a quote on the job, I went in, and about 1.5 hr. later it was done. Friendly and courteous staff. I have been going to them for years. Each time I have gone to them, I have been treated with the upmost respect, with quick, and friendly service. If there was a problem the would show me before they started the repair.When the repair was completed; the outside of my car was washed.I would recommend them.

Been there twice for car problems and each time the guys have been super helpful and informative. They really talked me through every step of the process and helped me understand what was wrong with my car and what steps they're taking to fix it.

The owner and mechanics are honest but there are only a couple of them that I would trust to work on my vehicles. Not because of lack of knowledge but, because of younger and lack of experience.
