I have been to other Mavis locations, but this was the first time I was at the Centereach one. They took care of me right away. They diagnosed the problem and told me how long approximately it would take. The nice thing is if you wait for your car, the place is set up sort of like an office with separate cubicles. You have your own little cubicle to wait in which was really pleasant. It even has an outlet to plug in your charger. I was there about an hour but it didn't feel like it. They were pleasant and friendly and not pushy at all. I think this will be my Mavis from now on.

I got my oil change here recently and it was a fantastic experience! The General Manager Devin, was amazing! Super easy drop off, and super easy pick up. He called me to let me know about that the air I'm my tires was a bit low and he filled it up for me. If you are ever in the area and need anything done for your car. Come here and ask for Devin.

My car was having some issues, and I needed an oil change and inspection. I got there in the morning, and was home by lunch. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue, discuss with me what was wrong and how to fix it, keeping me involved every step of the way. They have great service, knowable staff, and it is a big location. I will definitely be bringing my car back there for its next service!

Needed tires swapped on custom rims for my 32 ford. I talked to Steve prior to going to the shop he told me he would see if they could accommodate me once he seen the rims. When I arrived I was so pleased with the whole atmosphere of the facility which is clean and organized.Steve reviewed what work I needed to be performed and said it would not be an issue at all. He had one of his staff Victor remove the tires from my car and start on the tire installation which was just fantastic. I waited in the clean air conditioned waiting room and in no time they informed me that the tires were mounted and in my car.Every person I was in contact were very courteous and so professional, I was thoroughly impressed and will now be a repeat customer for all my automotive needs. Thanks to both Steve and Victor who made the whole transaction just perfect!

Brought my car in for service, the new manager Devin is fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly. He and his staff to care of me explained everything, everyone walked me through the process and I drove home the same day. My car is running great this is where I will bringing my car from now on. Thank you too all.

Came in at around 5:30 needed an alignment and they took care of me right away. Quick and great service and MJ and Devin took great care of me and my car. Appreciate them a lot will be back.

10/10 Everyone was very polite, insightful and patient. Explained every step of the process and gave accurate time and pricing estimates. Got my inspection, a tire repair and rear shocks all done for a very good price and in a very timely manner. Thoroughly explained what should be priority and what can wait on repairs. Would return for future service!

For many years I choose to go to Mavis in Centereach NY. They are honest n have never tried to say I need more than what I do! I thank Carlos (mechanic) who does an exceptional job and always tells me not to worry, he is amazing! Larry for always making me comfortable and treating me like a valued customer and lastly the new mgr Devin! Thank you

Staff were Very professional and worked with me and the budget I had and was able to get all of the work done that I needed. Did a great job on all the auto work and I did not have to leave my vehicle overnight or stay there all day, I came in around noon and was out of there by 2:30pm after having an alignment, all new tires and brakes done which is even more impressive considering they had to have the brake pads ordered and delivered. Overall I was very satisfied with my experience and the quality of work

Recently took my car to Mavis for an inspection and what I knew I needed, brakes. Also heard a sound coming from passenger side tire (thought it was from the brakes), and was advised it could be something other than brakes. Was called early next day and was told everything the car needed. Eventually was told the sound I heard was for sure from the brakes, which I thought was very honest. Was also told my car failed inspection due to needed new wiper blades and a back brake light. Since I was doing full front brake job, was told I would get wiper and brake light thrown in at no cost. After the job was done and my car was given a test drive, for a call that the car died and the battery tested way lower than should be. I knew this was bound to happen bc once in a while my car wasn t starting right away, and I knew they weren t just milking more work out of me. Overall, once I was told what was wrong my car was ready within 3 hours. Was given a fair price for everything done, and when I picked up the car was explained all the warranties and the price for everything was broken down for me. I won t go anywhere but mavis in centereach. I highly recommend coming here, they make you feel comfortable and you know they re honest people. Long review, just want the next person to know they re choosing a good place when they re looking for somewhere to bring their car!

Been here several times, never a problem. Luz, Pete and Larry are great. Honored a sale for me even though I didn't make it there til DAYS after the sale! 4 new tires, oil change and an alignment for well under $800 you can't beat it! I will be back again! Thank you for the exceptional service.

I always bring my cat in for oil changes and any tire issues. They are always accommodating. Today I can in for a new tire and Devin was great.

Went in today to plug my tire, called ahead to ensure my spot and they called back to verify I was coming! As soon as I walked in they got started, told me whole process would be 20 minutes MAX which it was. Larry at the front desk was very kind and explanatory of the process, they even let me know my inspection was up ( which I failed to realize on my own) .Overall very quick, honest service. Going back for an oil change !

This location has no idea what they're doing and will make your car worse then when you brought it in. I brought mine in because my tire indicator light kept turning on, even though I was filling it with air and I wanted to double check my tires. They figured out it was registering the wrong tire and that I had no tire damage, but removed the lugnut from my front right one with no explanation and did not replace it. Drove to the east Northport Mavis and they were able to replace the lugnut within a day without touching anything else on my car. Go to that one, much better customer service and mechanics that actually know what they are doing.

The minute, I called Mavis, Customer Service was excellent! Pete & Larry at the front desk was very professional! Jacob the mechanic was also awsome, & took care of my oil change! Thank you very much!! I will definitely go here again with my car!

At 5pm on 5/18/23 my air started rapidly deflating in my tire; there was a nail in it I was unaware of. I had to take my husband for surgery the next morning. I called Mavis and explained my panic situation. Thanks to Larry at the front desk and Mike the Mechanic for taking me in and patching my tire last minute. They were both so courteous and professional. Now that my husband is recovering I wanted to mention how appreciative I was of Mavis for helping me in a bind. The patch is holding up great!

I ve been having an issue with my tire losing air, wasn t able to resolve it taking it to the dealership and they told me nothing was wrong lost air again end up, taking it to Mavis tire in Centereach and Steve and MJ was able to resolve the issue. I had a slow leak in the rim and matter of minutes they were able to seal it and fix my leak, amazing service from the Team in Centereach. I will come back for my service.

Staff is nice. But service is very slow. There was only 1 customer in front of me and I waited about 2 hours just to get 1 new tire put on. Was told 15 minutes btw. The bays were empty and it looked like staff was just walking around waiting for something to do
